  1. Well, nothing else was on, so I figured, "why not?" Still love Harry. Liked "Somewhere over the rainbow" guy. I thought it was genuine, and I realized I was smiling halfway through it. Also liked the girl who sang One Republic, I think she tried out 4 times? Really effortless runs, and like Harry said, she was completely in time. Not easy to do live - I'll bet a ton of "pro" singers couldn't do what she did. LOVED the piano duet with Harry. Man, that guy is so freaking talented..
  2. Shawn seems way too normal for this mess. And I respected her for standing up to Vivica after the BR. She was right - it was totally unnecessary and classless to bring up exactly why Shawn was unwell. If she had raging diarrhea, would Vivica bring that up to everyone too? And can I just say, that when it comes to that particular problem, not all women experience the same symptoms. I hate how dismissive some women are of menstrual cramps just because they personally don't get bad ones. It's true - for some women it's fairly mild, for others it's a week of pure hell, and "popping a mydol" doesn't do shit. The girl is an Olympic gold medalist, having trained her whole life, probably pushing herself beyond her physical limits on a regular basis. I'm sure it would have taken more than a little, "ouchie" to make her bring it up at all. Either that, or she realized she had just signed up for a shit show and decided she wanted off the crazy train.
  3. Between Geraldo and Trump, I'm not sure which one I hate more. Everything about Geraldo is just so ridiculous that I almost want to punch MYSELF in the face. If I were on his team, I would totally shave his mustache while he napped. And then poke him with a stick. And light him on fire. And throw him off the roof. (Sorry y'all, not normally a violent person but this dipshit just inspires so. much.rage.) Also, shut up, Donald Trump. Go groom your hair and let Ivanka and George take over. Honestly, this show. Also, I may have a little crush on Ian, and I really want to see him take Geraldo down. Yea, he's a dork, but I don't think he's douchey about it. In closing, death to Geraldo. Miniature American flags for others.
  4. I usually hate the overly rehearsed, overly dramatic bitter jury speeches, but I loved every second of Reed's! I don't know what it is, but Missy and Baylor get on my last nerve. They're so co-dependent on one another- she's way too protective of her 20-something year old daughter, and it looks like Baylor can barely function without her mom. Just bleh. That, in my opinion, is NOT a healthy relationship. I wish some of the others had asked actual questions... Jaclyn's jury speech was one of the worst. So painful.
  5. I'm super bummed about Jaja, she was definitely my favorite girl and I was crossing my fingers and toes that she was cross-trained. She did well in ballroom and I thought she was just as good in contemporary as contemporary girls are in hip/hop/krump, so it's a bit of a double standard. I love that during her dance-for-her-life solo the other dancers were so supportive of her and in awe of what she can do. Really pissed that we are denied a Comfort/Jaja all-star duet :( I HATE that Bridget girl (dead father) with a passion and I'm beyond upset that she made it through. Her sob story is stupid (it's sad that you lost your dad but you were 12, it's not like it happened the day before the audition!), and she seems like she's totally hamming up the drama of it all for the cameras. I get a very "made for TV movie" vibe every time she has a confessional or looks forlornly at the ceiling with tears in her eyes...it's just all too much. And to top it all off, she is a very mediocre dancer. I get nothing from her and her technique isn't great. She's another one who can't sustain movement and falls out early. I hope she was cast as fodder and is gone in the first week. Excited about Malena, who may be the first ballroom girl since Anya to make me take notice (and I'm a straight female!). Like Anya, she makes me want to " be her when I grow up". None of the other girls had that affect on me, and I think partly it's because Malena and Anya dance like women, and not like girls (see Whitney, Lindsey, Christina, etc.). Love Ricky, love Stanley (unlike Bridget, his sob story didn't make me hate him), love the dorky friends who seem to be self-aware of their own douchiness (which makes them kind of adorable), and I like Jourdan for her strength and technique. It's hard for me to watch dancers like Alison, Jasmine Harper, Amy, Eleana, etc. and then be excited by someone like Jessica, who just looks so amateur in comparison. Maybe she has it in her, but I haven't seen that at all from her solos. To quote the great Tyra Banks, she's totally resting on pretty.
