  1. You stole my thoughts. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed for various reasons outlined much more eloquently by other posters. Why was Rhys at the D's house then? The lack of age continuity was infuriating. We saw Marion alive when Toby and Ali were like 13, making CeCe nearly an adult. Someone let the moms out of the basement plz Best parts of the episode were Mona having a shoe-weapon (love her), Shower Harvey getting punched in the face after yelling "I WAS PROTECTING YOU", and the thought of Jason immobilized on the floor realizing that he dated 2 of his sisters, 1 of which was his brother.
  2. SO EXCITED! Been watching since the pilot, cant believe the day is here
  3. So we all agree that Charles is still alive, right? Come on PLL, we did this EXACT story line in season 1 with Ali being "dead"
  4. YES seriously. Why is Melissa acting like Shia LaBeouf is the most amazing actor ever. Maddie is such a brat and Melissa is the worst..ugghhh why do I watch this show
  5. I never had the intention of watching this show, but it was on while I was visiting friends and I ended up watching the TX/Boston episode. I am actually from Boston and at one point worked at the (non profit) company that one of the women worked at, which was really what got me to watch till the end because my eyes started to hurt form rolling so hard. At the end I was hoping that the TX woman was going to give some of their money back or something to that effect. How do you walk away with that much money without any guilt or shame? Like other have said, neither couple was desperately in need, but paying for your (I'm assuming pregnant/teenaged) daughter's wedding? If the Texas couple walked around the city saying "Massa-tu-setts" and spewing other crap about needing guns they definitely got dirty looks. (Probably to the same degree as a gay pride parade in a small southern town, but those situations are not even remotely on the same level)
  6. Show- "How does a high school boy afford all of that?" Audience- We've been saying that since season 1! That's what I was thinking. I'm hoping that the girls weren't physically harmed, maybe they just heard screams and assumed? Ashley continues to be the best parent. Can she adopt me? I like wine! Normally Emily isn't my favorite liar (or even top 2) but tonight she rocked it At this point, I'm just waiting to see how the hell all of this strings together.
  7. Like others have said before, I find it appalling that they seem so quick to attack the media but Josh basically got immediate forgiveness No compassion there. Newsflash guys, you can't make a fortune off being on the cover of tabloids and being on a reality show, then get pissed at them when they show you in a negative light That's the territory it comes with They will build you up but they will tear you down quicker. Edited to add that I have PR experience and good Lord if their goal was to get the public against them then they're doing a great job!
  8. Wow, well done PLL. You remembered an old plot line that was never cleared up with Sarah Harvey. Poor girl being down there for years, I hope we see more of her. The girls waking up naked in the morgue was a little to much for this show. Like other said, it seemed a little rapey, for lack of a better word. Wondering how it will show up again. Oh and anyone getting Silence of the Lambs vibe from Mona in that hole?
  9. This had me laughing way too hard! I would've joined you. Hard pass on the giant snakes in the bathroom and the person in the bed. This Clint and JJ thing seems so manufactured. Hilarious, but fake. Everyone is not going to be head over heels for Kaitlin, but the comments about showering together seemed like they were trying too hard. I'll admit it- I have a huge crush on Ben Z. I don't like that he's relying on his sob story, but he can come protect me anytime. =)
  10. Yes! Abby was my choice for the 2nd half of the season. They way she came off set off too many red flags for me- that she's coddled and has no emotional maturity. One of the big tip offs for me was that she had no friends- her old ones from the Christmas party probably caught on to her lies. The scene with her in the car with her mom at the end of so creepy. Totally knew that she was lying about it being an accident. But how the hell does Christy run off and live her? My roommate and I were betting that the last shot of the episode would be Abby killing her mom.
  11. I call bullshit on A/Charles having a soul. I can look past the crazy things that he's done, but he's kept Mona for months in that dollhouse alone, denied her food and water, and showed her pictures of her funeral. Nope. Speaking of which- I've been spoiled about this episode for a while, but I am still miffed that we saw that scene of Mona dead in the trunk and now she's alive with no explanation. If we didn't see her body I'd be okay, but that's just flat out bad story-telling. All of the awards tonight go to Spencer, Hanna, Mona, Caleb, and Spencer's parents. Why is it that the girls are so great when they pretend to fight? Reminds me of that scene when they're in the orange jumpsuits picking up trash from way back. Soooooooo how long until we find out that Charles isn't really A?
  12. I was shouting the same thing at my tv! Same with the archery trophy. I guess this is why the girls have been so afraid of getting arrested with a shovel- because you will be found guilty of murder on pretty much no evidence. It's not even Rosewood PD, LawyerJulie and whoever the prosecutor was, even the freaking jury convicted Ali so quickly! Ditto on whoever pointed out that Ali made a phone call. Serial anyone? Granted, I watch this show, so I have to suspend my disbelief because we will all end up in Radley otherwise, but things like this bothers me. I don't get it and it makes me angry. Even if there was SOMETHING a little more damning for Ali, even if it was planted by A would've made me feel like the show at least tried. Yup. Yo Ezra you started bonking Aria when she was like 15. Cool it.
  13. Thank you Jack Shaftoe for pretty much saving me the trouble of typing up my exact thoughts. Granted, I got my law degree from the University of Dick Wolf, so I can only say so much. But good Lord is this a poor representation of our legal system. Really what evidence is there against Ali? She has no alibi for the time of the murder, the person attacking Mona in the video is blonde (which btw is hilarious that the person took the time to wear black everything but kept their long blonde hair hanging out. First degree murder requires at least a freaking ponytail.) and it is known that she and Mona didn't play well together. There's not even a body. She wasn't caught with a shovel!
  14. Thanks for that lion10, whether or not how legit it is. If it's true, the finale seems pretty dark, i'm not sure how the show could bounce back from that. There were a few things that sounded like classic PLL tho
