I agree. It's easier to hate than to show love, and I find that people that follow Jones not only hate but have a lot of fear in the world around them. He doesn't care about the pain he inflicts, it's all about sales to him.

I am, and enjoying it so much. The performances of Ayumi Tanida and Ken Wantanabe are so gritty, and in some ways very understated, which convey more than any script. The whole cast is good, and I like that the storylines are moving right along. Really there's no happy ending for any of the characters, which I like.

I've had a really full plate lately so I have to admit I've not been able to pay a lot of attention to the inner PT workings as of late. So when I read the writing on the wall stuff about closing the topic I was a bit surprised. What a shame. I don't post a lot anymore but I have to say I'm very thankful for you wonderful posters here. If I hadn't been able to post under this topic and get the support I needed during a very trying time in my life. When all hell breaks loose you need that couple spots of normalcy to calm your soul. I thank you all for your support, it's been a great help. Even if I don't post back or react, I've read the posts here in this sub especially and have enjoyed our time together so much.

Just gutted...Homicide:LOTS was one of the first shows I watched religiously, with the brilliant performance of Andre Braugher being what initially drew me in. What a talented actor.

All I heard from MG's followers is their disdain for us normal type folks that are responsible beings that have normal type lives. And normal common sense.

This was my first time watching an entire season of this show, and I loved it. I've tried to watch a few episodes of other seasons but that Lucas host just turned me off so I never went back. Of course Josh's mum made me cry. Nan was well loved, bless her. Made me miss my grandma. Very happy with the final three, very happy to see Matty win. A well done and well flavored chocolate cake gets me every time!

For that alone I'd tell her to eff off. And include some hand gestures just for some added impact. If You've gotten some really good advice here. Having some questionable in law conduct of my own here I totally sympathize with the situation. If she brings up any of the estate crap you would be right to tell her you are not going to discuss it, now or ever. I've been lucky because my husband knows the faults of his siblings and understands that there are times where I just need to not communicate or be around them for my own sanity. Lucky too because he knows that I can be very quick to anger and can ride it out or give me a constructive clue or two to back down. Good luck. Bishme, there is some 70's blaxploitation film that's calling, they want their costume back. Elaine has been wearing kinda thin on me. If there's another season I hope they swap her out. She's been a bit much lately. I like Rami, happy that he won one and I'm interested to see him in a final.

I love the doc Searching For Sugar Man and can't recommend it enough to those that haven't seen it. Same with The Last Waltz. I'm gutted about Robbie Robertson, I mean you expect it with age, but somehow because you still listen to their music they seem frozen in time. And yeah..Glenn Frey was a jerk. Talented...but a major jerk.

I'm so disappointed. I've been such a fan of Elfman and his Oingo Boingo bandmates, love his scores. His music really means so much to me personally. What is it that says to these guys that 'oh this girl is my fan, so I can go beyond normal boundaries' - and they don't think this is ever going to bite them in the ass? They just must think they are totally untouchable.

I agree with the win Laurence had. It was a fully conceived outfit that would fit in with the 90's and today. However... I really hated the orange. That was power pop 80's look, not 90's. And I normally like orange, have t-shirts in orange. Maybe it was just the dress that Bishme made, was not a fan of that look and material. He had a luscious full figure gorgeous model, and I didn't think it did anything for her. Could be just me though. Other team...so many other ways to use the plaid. If they were going to try and get into some nod to Black Hole Sun they should have fully gone there and done that full throttle, mixed in some jersey and gone dark, mixed some denim in there. They could have used some dark washed out blues with grays and even olive tones, didn't have to have black. Kinda saw Kayne leaving a mile off, a good corset with a cape? Remember what Edna E Mode thought of capes? She was right...never a good look.

Oh definitely - I'm Your Man is probably my fave, though I have some fondness for Young Guns. I have that first lp - even though I was more a punky paisley underground type of girl a good pop song is irresistible. Was a bit worried that it would be some gossipy snipe fest but instead it was wonderful, well balanced, and a lovely tribute.

Project Runway...this is the true story of several designers picked to share a work space together and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite...and start getting real. Or extremely bad mannered and tempered. Not a fan of Anna's tentacles either but dang, the pile on is not pretty. I wonder after the show is over if we are going to hear about the 'oh it was the editing' with the comments.

My first thought...how many times did Anna watch My Octopus Teacher? It Came From Beneath The Sea? That's what I'm getting anyway.
