  1. I get that Eric’s other kids also don’t know he’s dying, but Zende being the only family member working at Forrester who doesn’t know and everyone else lying to him like he’s an outsider is not the vibe. Steffy’s husband knows. Hell, Luna the intern knows, and they’re acting like it’s none of Zende’s business somehow. Like being RJ’s girlfriend makes her more part of the family than one of Eric’s actual grandsons. It’s giving
  2. I know y’all enjoy the eye candy but Chance needs a wheelbarrow for all these Ls he’s holding. He failed to locate Cameron even though it was obviously possible to do so since Nick did it, he didn’t sweep the house after the cat even though he was informed that the cat was inside, so he missed both the bug and the tunnel, he went through Cameron’s bag with his bare hands at the club, then he let Sharon and Nick riffle through it, and Sharon was the one who found the false bottom in it. My guy. Meanwhile this poor security flunky’s getting axed for not calling Victor. Ijs Paul was always a little slow for plot purposes, but they never wrote him as this incompetent. That said, I’m glad they wrapped this up expeditiously, I didn’t enjoy this SL. ETA: Though I will say, Cameron’s line about Sharon’s life being meaningless because all she does is serve coffee to dummies all day was hilarious. He’s… he’s making strong points.
  3. Okay, I definitely thought he was about to Kool Aid man through the front window.
  4. The problem with Summer’s (and to an extent Daniel’s) perspective on what should happen to Phyllis is that they both think Phyllis shouldn’t face any consequences whatsoever for her actions. And you see that same issue with Summer re: her own life, now she’s going door-to-door trying to get people to get Kyle to forget everything she did. Just like Phyllis, she thinks any consequences for her choices are intolerable and unfair. The reality for Summer is she violated and destroyed trust in her marriage for months. The response to that is spending months/years earning that trust back. The same is true for Phyllis; even if Stark suggested this plan, Phyllis is Strong and Independent™️ and she made the decision to go along with the idea. She needs to own up to the consequences of that. Summer makes it impossible to root for her because she doesn’t entertain for a second that her choices—however impossible—are her responsibility. I’d have a lot more respect for her if she just owned them and took her lumps. Re: Jabot, I’m probably at the table by myself, but since John died, I really don’t care if Jabot stays in the family or not. Jack’s lost the company countless times always due to his own hubris and lack of business acumen, and when that happened the only reason it hurt was because of how sad and disappointed John was. With him gone, I honestly don’t care who owns Jabot. Saying that to say, if Diane and/or Tucker take it, idgas. It’s not like Jack and Ashley deserve it.

Idk but if they’re paying millions to somebody to not make baskets, I am available. I can not make shots all night.
  6. It felt out of character for Victor to acquiesce about helping Phyllis. Victor had never cared at all about cutting his grandchildrens’ non-Newman mothers out of their lives. In fact, judging by the fact that he has tried to forcibly pay nearly all of his grandkids’ moms to leave, he thinks they’re all better off being raised by Newmans exclusively. So I’m not buying one pout turn him around on that. Whatever trauma and warping Summer’s been subjected to (which is a truckload), she’s also still the dumbest person on the show. Her “plan” to bring the EMT back a pay him to lie was stupid enough, but then you’re going to tell an officer of the court you plan to do that?? Michael isn’t even your attorney, not that privilege applies to intent to commit crimes. Setting aside how illegal all that is (which, thank you Michael), the guy’s not even a credible witness. SC did a good job today with the Faith thing. I still didn’t enjoy her trying to flirt with Chance, I really don’t like them together. But it was light years better than JM living out his professional wrestling fantasies. “Now entering the ring… Silverback!!!”
  7. You said Phyllis seems like a great best friend. I said she isn’t one. That was the scope of my post. I didn’t post about Diane, so I’m not sure why you’re asking why I don’t think Diane was wrong. She was obviously wrong, but that has nothing to do with what I said?
  8. Phyllis left her “best friend” a voicemail frantically begging for help to save her from Diane even though she knew they would spend the rest of their lives feeling responsible for her murder. At that time she had no intention of ever coming back by her own admission. She literally not only caused her BFF immense grief and pain—intentionally and unilaterally—she also multiplied the pain exponentially solely to further her bullshit caper. And she did it with every intention of leaving that guilt on them for the rest of their lives. Why? To punish them for not telling her she was right. (“Well they’re gonna feel terrible when…”) I said it before: the whole reason she faked her death was to punish everyone who loved her for not co-signing her psycho obsession. So she would WIN. Phyllis doesn’t give a watery damn about anyone. She doesn’t love anyone enough not to utterly destroy them to prove a point. Evidently.
  9. I’m not sure why these people are acting like they can’t buy a ticket to Rome. Just go if you want to go, why are all these wealthy people with apparently nothing else in the world to do begging to be allowed to travel somewhere?
  10. Oh, no, I agree, they shouldn’t have gotten married.
  11. The more I think about it (don’t worry I already hate myself), I think what Shaquille means when he says nurturing is displaying hurt. I think he was upset at that meeting because Kirsten didn’t “seem” hurt, in whatever way he expected a person to display that. When I think the reality is Kirsten is extremely guarded about displaying emotion and 8 weeks wasn’t enough time for her to open up fully with him. Lots of people need to feel extremely safe before they can let someone see them in a vulnerable state like that, and I don’t think Kirsten ever got there. Basically he was like, “I need you to visually display vulnerability to me so I feel safe with you and like you care about me,” and she was like, “Until I feel safe with you and like you care about me I'm not showing you anything.” And the more upset he got, the further away she got from being able to give him what he was looking for. I think they really cared about each other and even were starting to love each other, but they were too insecure to let a connection really happen. I don’t think Kirsten’s authentic personality is cold, she’s always animated and engaging when she’s with other people—people she feels secure with.
  12. Today I realized it’s not just Nikki’s hair, every blonde on the show looks like a wet dog right now. Step away from the krimper. Ashley’s a complete fucking idiot. I’m worried Jack will put Diane in senior leadership and she’ll try to take over the company, so I’m putting someone who’s tried to take over the company in senior leadership? Please go wash your hair and deep condition. Kyle’s really going nuclear. I feel like Chance would get fired for not arresting Summer, though I do appreciate how tired he is of all these morons. I can’t believe there’s no surveillance footage of Cameron leaving the hotel after Nick left perfectly fine, but who cares, lock Nick up, whatever. Looks like a miscarriage is on tap for next week. There’s probably a think piece to be written about why the audience cares a lot more about Faith’s cat than they do about Sally’s baby. No judgement, just interesting that no one’s going to be upset about Sally’s dead baby, myself included.
  13. The end of the show was preempted on the east coast. I assume nothing of consequence happened. Man, time was if they preempted a Friday show I would have been livid. Now, my reaction was literally, “you know what? Good. Shut up, Show.”
  14. Can somebody explain to me why a trained mental health professional would tell a man with years of history of stalking, threatening, and abusing a woman that that woman might have feelings for him? I just don’t. Understand. Why you would ever do that. Okay. It’s not okay at all.
