  1. Well, I am an American who has watched Season 6 (including the Christmas episode). Now I have to pretend that I haven't. Sigh. I sort of pulled it of last year with Broadchurch's 2nd season. At least this season of DA isn't thrilling, so I won't have to feign surprise!
  2. Thanks, staveDarsky! We'll see how long I last. I did enjoy the second season for the most part. I do love David Tennant and that lovely Scottish accent. And there is no one better than Olivia Cole.
  3. I have to confess my dirty little secret. I am in the US, but watched Season 2 in real time. Now I have to pretend that I didn't see it for the sake of my friends with whom I'm watching it "for the first time" <ahem> when it starts here tomorrow (Wednesday, March 4). I fear I'm doomed to failure. Don't hate me!!
  4. mledawn: Thanks for the tip, but I live in the US and ITV only lets UK residents access the site. I know there are work-arounds, but I don't feel comfortable with those.
  5. Thanks for the info on barristers. Broadchurch will air in the US in March. I don't know if I'll continue to try and watch this now or wait until March. It's kind of hard to remember to get the channel at 4:00 in the afternoon! Mostly, I wanted to know what the storyline would be.
  6. Question for the UK folks: Why do the Latimers need an attorney? Won't the government prosecute him? Oh, yeah--and it's good to see the Broadchurch gang again.
  7. Did anyone else, after seeing the gala was at an art gallery, know that there would be an attempted theft by Mozzie's ex? And was anyone else surprised that it took so long for the expert con artists to catch up?
  8. Mehcad Brooks!! I missed seeing his beautiful face on my tv.
  9. I think it's the priest. His role is much larger and different here. Just a hunch.
  10. Oh, puffaroo--me too!! I am happy that I recorded the ep so I could fast-forward over those fame wh***s. This is probably the part I hate most about RP--product placement of reality "stars." 95% of them I have never seen before. I know they must be famous somehow by the way the actors fawn over them. I do agree that this felt like a series finale. If it is, then I'm ok with that. USA has cancelled all my favorite shows (or will--White Collar). So I'm used to it.
  11. I liked this show. It moved along fairly well and held my interest enough to watch it each week. I think last week's penultimate episode was the best. Obviously, the last one was the set-up for Season 2. I didn't care for it as much. However much I love the actors (including Alfrie Woodard), I don't think I'll tune in next year. I didn't watch Revolution for all the distopia and likely won't care to see it here. Still, I did enjoy it. Kudos to all involved! A job well done!
  12. PBS wasn't running the show on their website. So I was able to watch this in a super secret way just now. I got to the murder and turned it off. I don't mind suspense, but I was expecting a lawyer-courtroom show, not this. Too bad. I love David Tennant (Broadchurch was more than excellent).
  13. Why is Divya still living with Jeremiah? She made up with her parents, and presumably, isn't cut off financially anymore. Surely, she could have moved home while she recuperated?? And I thought Jeremiah's house was enormous. Why can he stll hear that screaming baby?
  14. Well, according to the commercials, Divya seems to be in the hospital in labor. That rules out all the silly scenerios some came up with over at TWOP. Too bad--some of those were very creative!
  15. I, too, think that there is something deeper in Sr. Julienne's past. Jenny Agutter did such a wonderful job with just a look in her eyes. Edited to add: I don't like the prison parson. Something about him gives me the creeps. Like he's responsible for more than one prison pregnancy. Stay away, Trixie!!
