I love when the judges said that royalty would wear the dress that Kara Saun and Laurence made. Rock “royalty“, maybe, but but royalty from a royal line that stretches back 1500 years would never get within 200 feet of that dress. My problem with Hester’s dress was not the design, but the fabric which just made me think of a tablecloth. The only dress I really liked was the winning one. I thought it was stunning.

I thought he was using the older meaning of the word “ward,“ which is “to guard, or protect.“ I thought he was indicating that he was Grogu‘s guardian, and thus could make the decision to enter Grogu into the training. I don’t think the place where Mama went down, was the same area where the Mandalorians had their encampment. We know that the Mandalorians cannot fly the distance between the nest and the encampment, yet they were still apparently having no fuel issues at the time that she was brought down. Apparently there are extensive lakes and rivers (which may even open to the ocean) where the croc-turtles may reside.

We were told that that little tip of stone was actually the top of the highest mountain on the planet (clearly before they put buildings on every square inch). Even assuming that that mountain had not been as tall as Everest, may be only 20,000 feet high, you can put a lot of people in a building that’s 20,000 feet high. It appears that they’re skyscrapers are a lot taller than our skyscrapers. As for Elia, I was initially on the fence as to whether or not I believed she was now on the side of the New Republic. But as soon as she started pushing Dr. Pershing to do something not only dangerous, but that would also get him into considerable trouble. If he were caught out, there was no question anymore. I don’t think she was ever part of the amnesty program. She clearly held a position of rank, and I believe that she went underground as soon as Gideon was taken and emerged to join the New Republic, with the ultimate intent of freeing Gideon. Noticed that she kept the device they “stole“ and I suspect that it’s something that can be used to help free Gideon. And, yes, the New Republic is as dumb as a stump. But then again, this seems to be a repeated pattern of stupidity on both sides of the fence all the way through the tens of thousands of years of history. Especially as it’s some point we’re told that there are only two Sith around at a time. You would think that at some point the troops would say, “yes, they do have some of that we don’t have but there are two of them and 500,000 of us and since none of them are Zen Rand, I think we can take them.“

And a nod to ItB, where Dean catches his first glimpse of his future mother and comments that she’s a babe. “And I’m going to Hell. Again.” 😀

I have to admit that I could spend hours watching Jensen Ackles be one of those human statues, like the one in Moon Knight, but I’m not sure I could watch him in another season of the show. This is my first season watching Big Sky and if it weren’t for Jensen I doubt I would’ve made it past episode two. This show is a monument to stupidity. I don’t think I’ve seen as many idiot characters in anything other than a Mel Brooks comedy. And the writers couldn’t even finesse their big surprise: I suspected Buck was the bleeding heart killer almost from the beginning (since this was not a show that lingered in my memory after the episode was over, I don’t remember now exactly what it was that kicked off the Suspect-O-Meter). I wished I liked the character of Beau Arlen better, but the writers just didn’t really give him anything to do that was interesting or had any depth, IMO. In fact, my favorite character ended up being Donno! (And he and Tonya make a great couple. I’m glad they ended up with a 15 million 😆) I am really hoping that Jensen has some other irons in the fire.

ITA. I understand why the twins chose it, because of the leg injury, but I don’t think I would attempt it!

OMG, not the dreaded “folding table napkins“ task? I wouldn’t blame her for trying to run away from that. Do you have any idea how many Bothans died to accomplish that?

It was just announced at the SDCC that the series was given a season three! This was also posted on the official Twitter site: BTS look at season 2

this is pure speculation but when Kripke said that who the Alpha will turn out to be will be a surprise, I started wondering if it weren’t going to be Edgar. We learned early in the season that he really wants to get out of the superhero business and strictly concentrate on the pharmaceuticals. Well, there has certainly been considerable damage inflicted not only in regard to the number of superheroes out there but also as to their image with the public. Even if he decides not to get rid of all of them, the remaining ones may be more under his thumb. of course, if he wants the company to be exclusively about the pharmaceuticals, he’s going to have to do better than temporary Compound V. He’s not going to be able to sell it once it’s learned that taking it 3-5 times will kill you.

This episode, for me, raises the question, seeing just how much of a brutal bully SB is, of why would you give a person like that something that gives him superpowers and makes him immortal? (That’s strikes me as every bit an intelligent choice as trying to hide a child on the same planet where his father was raised, among relatives, while also keeping his father’s last name. It also makes you wonder just how stupid Anakin was since he couldn’t find him.) And exactly what was that with the priest and the nun? Were they supposed to be working for Vought?

I’m worried about this also. In the season three trailer, there was a shot that I did not catch originally but that someone pointed out later: Starlight sending a blast towards SB, who was blocking it with his shield. However, I recently saw a still of that shot and there’s more going on in the background then I saw initially. In the foreground we have Starlight and SB fighting. Behind Starlight there appears to be a window in the wall and through the window, in the still picture, you can see Homelander fighting what appears to be Maeve. Does look kind of team-up. ☹️

I’m assuming that she got fired from the Vought version of Disneyland after she blew up the mascot. And no one else would risk the lawsuit hazard she had become.

Or even worse, is such a total failure that it backfires on those who implemented it. I don’t think Soldier Boy is going to be happy with the Russians. Maybe “He’s making a list and checking it twice.“ lLoveReading said: “I think the Russians put Solider Boy on ice because he's not too powerful and can seemingly neutralize other supes around him” I don’t know, what we saw in the trailer that he did to that building looked pretty powerful to me. He might have been on ice either because they were trying to keep him a secret until they needed him or because in the end, they created a weapon they couldn’t control.
