  1. The Easy Rawlins novels make an excellent series. I particularly like the first four.
  2. I rarely watch host chat, I generally only watch the interviews if my favorite actors show. I watched my recording today of Julianne Moore and Patrick Stewart, two of my faves. Deja was so good, I rewound and watched host chat. Good job, Deja!
  3. I believe AL might've fibbed to incentivize Pops to go faster.
  4. A big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff!
  5. Horrifyingly ridiculous. It looked like a SNL skit. It was annoying me when Jordan kept referring to Claire as her niece. Cole is Jordan's nephew. Claire is her grandniece.
  6. I'm an old time viewer, I remember watching it with Brenda Dickson as Jill Abbott, just to give you a time frame. It used to be so good. I readily I haven't watched the show at all in ten years because I haven't found it watchable. I watched the episode from '93 last week and was reminded how much bigger the budget was back then. So many sets, so many actors. In one episode there was Jack, Nikki, little Nicholas, Victoria, Ryan, Nina, Michael, Victor, Douglas, Eve, Tracee and Lauren. 11 characters, in five different sets, in 4 various storylines. In contrast, I watched Monday's episode after reading Collen Zenk was appearing, and while I thought those scenes were interesting, I couldn't help be bored by the other scenes. Y&R has the chance to lure back viewers with this wacky, yet campy storyline and the best scenes they can offer feature Sally, Adam, Nate and Audra? To call Nate low-energy is to be generous. The only one of the four who showed any kind of life or animation was Sally. I'll happily watch the Newmans squirm some more, but I don't see me watching Y&R any further.
  7. No, but she told him about it and her concerns about it. The man mentioned that they were this close to getting fully invested. That's what good con men (and women) do. They lay out a trap and wait for the rat to bite.
  8. Watson's discovery and subsequent ratting on Schneider and the footman reminded me of DA's Anthony Stralian ratting out Larry spiking Tom Branson's drink.
  9. My cable guide says all new shows, although I realize my cable guide isn't gospel.
  10. Give me a naughty puzzle piece, whether it's from Lindsay Welles or Sheila Carter, and I'm a very happy Y&R viewer. Good times, indeed!
  11. I totally agree, I'd rather she stay authentic and show her contempt for these sorry topics.
  12. Seriously, even if the panelists are so ignorant they have nothing to offer, they can read tweets by Kamala Harris, Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton.
  13. You weren't joking, this author doesn't seem to like likable characters. I'm a huge fan of crime fiction, but I generally stay away first person narratives of twenty-somethings, the Catholic Church and cats, but somehow, someway Douaihy makes it work. I think the novel would've been better written told from the third person. The interior life of Holliday was served with a ladle, not a teaspoon. The mystery was easy to figure out, but I will read the next one just the same. Holiday does have a unique voice.
  14. I just re-watched the first segment from Thursday's show and the only questionable word from Whoopi, IMHO, was 'cojones'. It does make sense why Anna was joking about it.
  15. That's the way I understood it. Like when people say 'tall, dark and handsome'.
  16. I did love the visual of three people, who just spent the last hour espousing their opinions, applauding Bill telling people to shut up.
  17. I watched it on Acorn, I had no idea about the allegations until I read your post. Combs was thoroughly unbearable, wearing sunglasses and babbling incessantly. However, there were some good moments like Jessie Ware performing and a very funny Red Chair story.
  18. I'm looking forward to watching Rustin this weekend on Netflix. While I enjoyed the interview with Coleman Domingo, I was so distracted by the choppy and amateurish editing.
  19. The driver was also drunk, that didn't help.
  20. If it's shown it's not insignificant. It's also not the first time a mouse was spotted in the palace. In series 4 episode 3 a mouse scurried by a seated Queen Mother in the palace. I took as a symbol of decay of the palace and the monarchy. ED really nails it, it's uncanny.
