This show is just weirdly produced. After losing the charismatic Moses, the producers focus on the two leads only to have the third episode in a six episode season a "When they met" episode that relies on flashbacks with two younger actors, followed by one of the leads disappearing for episode 5. That being said, even after that lame kiss, I still get more of a brother/sister vibe from our two leads than anything else.

He went and told all of his friends dirtiest secrets and expected them to all be cool with that because "he's an artist" which is a really shitty thing to do no matter what.
And he did it for money. What a piece of shit.

I hope so too. There's a good TV-movie/mini-series called The Two Mrs. Grenvilles from the 80s, it's a fictionalized account of Ann Woodward's story, based on the novel by Dominic Dunne.

Joy Reid didn't seem too hopeful about the 2024 election😪
She's just being realistic.

This show is a great companion piece to the Phillip Seymour Hoffman film Capote, where Capote essentially sold his soul to get his In Cold Blood written. At the point where F:CvTS begins Capote is already swirling the drain, in a death spiral.

Unfortunately, most of them can't seem to get out of their own way, letting petty grievances and slights sway voting.
Bingo! On the nosey!

I thought once the round table ended then so did the shield protection.
No, it's definitely a shield that protects the holder from the Traitors. That's why shield holders always exclaim 'I slept so well!' upon entering the breakfast room.

They could superimpose an emoji over his face. It could be Chef Tiffani Faison vs. Chef Wink Smiley! 😉

I understand that, but I meant before last night. Before this episode, I thought the people with shields had to be revealed.
Gotcha, I misunderstood!
3 minutes ago, peachmangosteen said:I'm spoiling that because I'm not sure if that's how it worked on season 1 of this version or if it was either the UK and Australia version.
I watched all the versions too, and for the life of me, I can't recall.

I thought they had to reveal who got the shields, or that Alan usually reveals them anyway.
Not last night, the six people who were eligible to get the shields declined to say if they got them or not.

I believe the traitors will murder Bergie based on the promo for the season that aired after episode 3.
Well, attempt to murder. Bergie has a shield, right? How does that work out? Does everyone find out that the Traitors tried to murder Bergie the previous night?

I never thought it would be The Bachelor and the guy from Love Island who would be the smartest players.

I know some have speculated that the show wants to pair Siegfried and Mrs. Hall romantically, but I just don't see it.
I just don't see anything special in Siegfried, apart from having his own vet practice. He's bossy, ill-humored, persnickety and argumentative. What a catch!

Sometimes I'm surprised how mature the celebrities are. Alan Cumming was repeatedly interrupted by Hart & Vergara's sophomoric schtick, but AC kept his composure and ultimately told a very charming story.

So the ladies are miffed when we criticize their fashions, but when all you can focus on is bright red lips, it detracts from what she is saying.
Not for me, I don't even notice what they're wearing, or the lipstick they choose. This is definitely a non-topic for me.

It actually appeared on screen as the show was going on though, it was one of the weird bottom-of-the-screen ads they do sometimes.
Must've missed it!

They sort of gave away that Lisa Ann was going to win, considering she was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live that night (an ad for which ran DURING the show) 😄
Didn't give it away for me, I FF through commercials.

Me too.
1 hour ago, slowpoked said:if only to make up for that egregious snub for Sideways.
If it's any consolation Giamatti is widely known to not like playing the hollywood game. In an interview with a post-nominations, pre-Oscars Virginia Madsen, a reporter asked her about the 'snub', she replied (paraphrasing' 'there's only one person happy that Paul Giamatti isn't nominated, and that's Paul Giamatti.'

Did Gosling do any performances when La La Land was up for awards?
Nope.

So he'd promote it by performing a song from a previous movie?

I just can't see Ryan performing in front of that crowd.
Neither can I. What could he possibly gain by performing? They should get a proper comedian(s) to perform it, like Robin Williams and Blame Canada.

Paul Giamatti is running second in momentum behind Cillian Murphy but is possible if he snags the SAG.
