  1. Yes! That might've been Monica's true intention. I can imagine her thinking "The Shah's get at least a two-episode reunion and we only get a half-hour WWHL appearance!?!? WTF!? Well, I'll give them reunion worthy shade!"
  2. I noticed that too. I don't trust that audience, I get a feeling they're all Andy's friends, employees, Bravolebrities and various sycophants. I spotted Bruce Bozzi in the audience not too long ago. Bingo! On the nosey! Anisha looked truly taken aback by Monica's comments. Monica is assuring her job security for season 3 with an already established feud. I loved that Bali stuck up for Anisha, and that Brian and Vishal found it to be highly entertaining.
  3. In Sunny's defense, that dude is wrong so many times.
  4. I only know Justin Long from that series of commercials (I forgot for what product!), so I was pleasantly surprised by his appearance last night. He was delightful. And he was sitting next to the equally delightful Ali Wentworth. The two of them were quite entertaining.
  5. Isn't that enough?! Just like no one bought his hair care line. Still, it's not going to stop him from getting a fat advance.
  6. What, Whoopi gave a half-ass recommendation?! She also described a scene that was less than appetizing. At least she got the title right.
  7. I didn't see a mention of the panelists' book picks. Whoopi picked three including Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, incidentally a book I've been waiting for.
  8. I just can't get that image of Pope smothering Catherine out of my head.
  9. I didn't compare the stories, only speculating that the current regime of writers might be copying and pasting elements of a classic story from the past.
  10. I get the feeling they're doing the long haul with this story. Sonny isn't getting his memory back or coming to Port Charles until Jason and Carly have been married...and fallen in love. Kinda like Robert Scorpio marrying Holly to keep her in the country while the presumed dead Luke Spencer was recovering from an avalanche. Luke didn't come home til Robert and Holly had fallen in love.
  11. I read the first in the series and I enjoyed it. I asked this thread for cozy suggestions that avoided certain cozy tropes. This series was recommended, as well as Ellery Adams's Books by the Bay series and Alexia Gordon's Gethsemane Brown series. The initial entry in both these series is in my TBR pile. It's gonna be a cozy summer.
  12. This was taped pre-covid and pre-Hilaria Has A FakeAccent.
  13. But in the clue the word "spreading" was involved. Appropriate for a baked potato but not for a tub of popcorn.
  14. At first I thought Monica was asking for too much. But now I see her parents are putting their differences aside for their daughter's sake. How refreshing!
  15. Michael graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in May 2020. I think he's okay with "work". He's been making cameos on his father's show (he plays the younger version of his father's character in flashbacks) to see the inner workings of a TV set since Michael is interested in being a director.
  16. Just curious, how do you know Michael really doesn't want to work as so much continue his lifestyle?
  17. That's what I thought. Previous posters gave the impression her accounts were frozen, they were wondering how she could afford incidentals. She still has her Bravo checks coming in.
  18. I thought only Tom's accounts were frozen. Are Erika's accounts frozen as well?
  19. Paging Dr. Monica: A 29 year-old who lives at home with Mom and Dad is not an Alpha male!
  20. Hilaria was more Minnie Mouse than Charo.
  21. Pardon the ignorance, but who's Jake? Was he on last season? I thought last season's flashback scenes, like this season, are entirely unmemorable.
  22. I love Shawn Hatosy, I really respect his work, but this odyssey with Pope and Smurf's ashes was laughable, and not in a good way. To be fair to the writers, that's going to be a long story to tell. When the series started Smurf was at the peak of her criminal mastermind powers. I suspect it was a long road to get there. But I do agree that we aren't even on the first step of that journey. Smurf still has to meet a young Baz, still has two more men to meet and two more babies to birth. Just the way Julia said that Andrew needed roots, I think that's how the season
