  1. I'm not talking legalities or real life issues, I'm talking about being a man who just viciously murdered a woman in front of the children (who were likely victims of abuse) he has promised to protect. Even if they bury her body in the garden and the cops aren't called and there are no legal ramifications. Can Andy still be a good and effective father? I think not, the irreparable damage is done.
  2. Has Andy passed the point of no return? Could he really be an effective and good father to those kids after they witnessed him gutting a woman? Especially when that woman is one of his charge's mother?
  3. Before he dropped her off, he kicked his fourteen year old daughter out of her home. Period. Where she wound up is not important.
  4. I'll be DVRing Tuesday's episode. Mary J. Blige is getting huge Oscar buzz for her performance in the movie Mudbound.
  5. Same here. Ditto, I haven't seen her look this balanced and measured in a long time. I didn't see that at all, in fact I thought they seemed like old friends who were really comfortable with each other.
  6. Some of our more wise and observant posters caught on quick (definitely not me!).
  7. There were a few... Grace only interacted with Andy. None of the kids ever mentioned her. Pictures on the desk of family included Andy, the kids, his wife...and no Grace. There was a scene when Andy coaxed a reluctant Grace outside, they were talking on the porch, Grace was off camera, but her image was on the glass door behind Andy, intimating something wasn't right. There were more subtle clues, but I can't remember them right now...I do remember Andy telling a neighbor 'one of my children is in the house' rather than saying 'Grace is in the house'.
  8. When she was banging that doll's head against the wall she seemed a tad more sinister than a figment of Andy's imagination. Grace was a representation of the evil force living on that island. Since Grace is no longer effective, it's now being represented by Andy's wife (sorry, I forget her name.).
  9. Totally agree. KG may be on the downside of the pendulum swing now, but that pendulum will swing back upward. Reminds me of that scene in the Joan Rivers documentary where JR tells of her fear of an empty calendar, no touring dates. Kathy's like Joan, a total workaholic whose self-esteem is so tied up in their work. Kathy's best bet is take a year off, reconnect with family, get some rest, have some fun, read the papers, and then come back guns ablazin'!
  10. I've seen him on many MSNBC shows, and while he is conservative, he is never all "whatabout!" and "bothsides!" MM should listen to him, he can be measured and thoughtful.
  11. And she freaks out after wondering aloud why everyone is afraid of pissing her off! Derek: I'm walking away now.
  12. Just watched the clusterfuck that was the Donna Brazile segments. I don't have much confidence in the interrogation skills of our esteemed panelists, but DB was just belligerently evasive. I can't believe anyone would buy her book (and hope that no one does), after that ridiculous performance. She was the interim DNC chief and now this is how she acts?! After her team lost the race in 2000, DB should've been sent packing. No wonder the Democratic party is in disarray with people like this in charge. Time to clean house. And seriously Joy, "Mook is upset with you." Who gives a shit, thanks to his awful campaign strategy we have the Orange Menace in the White House.
  13. I'm not a huge Paula fan, but this is an instance where she could've brought something to the table. I can't wait to get home and watch this.
  14. After proudly claiming her support of Chick Filet, I'm sure the DOOL hairstylists love messing with MR's hair.
  15. Totally agree, I was responding to the poster who said
  16. I guess I should've been more clear. Can't wait to see Joy's take on DB's new book while DB is sitting at the table.
  17. I'll be DVRing. Can't wait to see Joy's take on DB's new book.
  18. Anne Rice wrote a novel a while back, The Witching Hour, which centered on a family of witches, focusing on one generation at a time. It started in Scotland (I believe, it's been a while since I read it), went through England, to the Caribbean winding up in The Big Easy, spanning over 10 generations. I know Murphy and Co already had a vampire season, but what about a werewolf season? Using Rice's model, a family of werewolves, focusing on a different generation every week. I know it's American Horror Story and not European Horror Story, but it could start in Maine in the 1600's and progress from there.
  19. That's why I'm thinking the time jump won't be that drastic.
