  1. Nope, but he was in Klute. Jane Fonda usually gets all the kudos for that movie, but DS was quite good.
  2. I always thought winners were previously notified of their win to ensure their attendance, which would also explain the lack of also-rans in the audience.
  3. Only DVRing Tuesday's episode. While I don't agree with everything Ana Navarro says, I enjoy her as a TV pundit, especially on Bill Maher. I can't wait to see her on The View.
  4. According to the article, both properties have 3 bathrooms.
  5. I don't know, I thought Bonnie was the building manager and she was 'renting' this space without the consent of the owner. In other words, Bonnie's pocketing all of Natasha's rent. Of course, I could be wrong though!
  6. When did this happen? Did I accidentally FF through it?
  7. I saw 'Olive' and 'Greek', the category was MAT, so kalamata immediately came to mind. But what the feck do I know? I said IPad for FJ.
  8. I attended a few talk shows (The View, The Rosie O'Donnell show, Regis & Kelly). They generally have a comic to warm up the audience, get everybody in a celebratory mood. Every time I went to a show, it was with a group of friends, and we were there to have fun, so I can totally understand the audience being whipped up into a frenzy over a second banana on a basic cable sitcom.
  9. I don't see anybody getting the ax anytime soon. The tension between Sunny and Whoopi is exactly what the producers want. That's part of the reason why they hired MM. I know posters don't like it, I certainly don't, but it's what the producers are living for. They don't want a lively hour long chat fest on current topics by five women of different backgrounds and stages of life. The producers want a bitchfest that Access Hollywood and The Insider will report about. The producers basically want a daytime version of The Real Housewives of ABC.
  10. Totally agree, almost. I would rate Freakshow as horrible; Hotel mediocre. But I loved Roanoke and Cult was even better.
  11. True, but Casey and Angela never witnessed their mother being gutted like a fish as Harper did. I half agree, I see the kids moving on (perhaps with Marcus and new beau), I don't see Andy leaving the island.
  12. So impressed with the finale. Strong ending to a strong season. No Speedwagon didn't deserve to die, neither did Ivy or Winter, but Ally felt differently. If Ally had just told Kai about Speedwagon, I would've had my doubts, but since it was shown, I'm going to believe Ally did kill Speedwagon. Ally was victimized by Kai, Ally overcame Kai and Ally became an even bigger threat than Kai. Hoping we get a return to the supernatural next season.
  13. So did I. About twenty years ago a local college staged a production of 12 Angry Men, they cast women in parts and re-titled it 12 Angry Jurors. Either the playwright or his estate caught wind and blocked the re-titling. The college picked another play. I said 12 Angry Men last night quite confidently!
  14. Don't forget Nora's marriage to Hank Gannon, which makes it Nora Hanen Gannon Buchanan.
  15. No need for quotation marks, Andrew did indeed lose the game.
  16. I'm not talking legalities or real life issues, I'm talking about being a man who just viciously murdered a woman in front of the children (who were likely victims of abuse) he has promised to protect. Even if they bury her body in the garden and the cops aren't called and there are no legal ramifications. Can Andy still be a good and effective father? I think not, the irreparable damage is done.
  17. Has Andy passed the point of no return? Could he really be an effective and good father to those kids after they witnessed him gutting a woman? Especially when that woman is one of his charge's mother?
  18. Before he dropped her off, he kicked his fourteen year old daughter out of her home. Period. Where she wound up is not important.
  19. I'll be DVRing Tuesday's episode. Mary J. Blige is getting huge Oscar buzz for her performance in the movie Mudbound.
  20. Same here. Ditto, I haven't seen her look this balanced and measured in a long time. I didn't see that at all, in fact I thought they seemed like old friends who were really comfortable with each other.
