  1. I was so hoping Winters was corrupt so we wouldn't have to see him again.
  2. I feel the same way. Sounds to me like an accidental death/suicde. As if covering up a crime and rape weren't enough. There was some highlights that made it worth watching: DCI James's slow clap after Hume's "confession". Grandmother/grandson reunion Sunny asking James if she ever robbed a stagecoach.
  3. It was a good start! Only on the TGNS will one find a spirited jus/goo debate between Stephen Graham and David Mitchell decided by Kylie Minogue.
  4. The only sister pairings I could remember are Caroline & Karen Spencer, and Maya & Nicole Avant.
  5. The B&B writers were sloppy doing their medical homework?!?! Heaven forfend! [Clutches pearls]
  6. I never watch traditional network shows in real time, I hate commercials! Everything gets DVRed and watched later, FFing thru commercials. I watched Pyramid this morning. Nothing like starting the day with game-playing celebs and big wins for the contestants.
  7. Word, I can watch him anytime. Also, Geri Halliwell is a good guest, she had something to promote, she came prepared and she was totally engaged.
  8. A murder mystery should keep it confusing until the last bit. That being said, throwing in another long dead body in episode 5 of 6 is pretty daring.
  9. Mace is a piece of work. Starts off all centrist "let's find common ground", then her mask falls off and she starts spreading lies about 9 month abortions in NY and CA. Joy was sorely missed on that panel.
  10. Remember the mom of the young man that his Lordship wanted to help financially? How she declined his help because of his voting record? His Lordship has a history of defunding programs that may have helped the women he was screwing. He doubly screwed them.
  11. I thought Kaz said Precious walked into the place where Lord Hume worked, waving an air pistol. Edited to add: I stand corrected, it was Ebele. Apologies.
  12. Right? So Lord Hume is Precious's daddy, and therefore Jay's (and Joe's) granddaddy. Karol is turning out to be a real sleaze. With the addition of Joe Bell's remains the plot thickens rather than dilutes. I am loving the supporting actors playing Kaz, Fran and Murray. They really bring the mundane fact-checking aspects of the case alive. I loved James telling Kaz what she uncovered was gold.
  13. Snares is consistently Professor T's MVP. Another episode of Keystone Kops, er, I mean Cambridge Cops. Brand's sleazy boyfriend is doing some seriously shady shit. T told Rabbit he was totally without insight, and Donckers and her beau remain the most uninteresting, most boring couple ever on PBS. However I did enjoy the actual case, I loved the device of Professor T bringing it up as a subject in his class.
  14. Better than actors touting their mediocre TV shows and movies. I'm looking forward to Patrick Stewart and Amy Schneider.
  15. This would be a great 30 minute show. 60 minutes is way too long. I FF'ed through Triple Jeopardy right to Final Jeopardy. I admire Emily Hampshire for getting $30,000 to GLAD, but I lost all respect for her after her dismal performance.
  16. I don't blame Mary at all for staying away from bobblehead Whitney and dipshit Angie. I'd watch Mary go thru the MacDonald's drive-thru any day over those two morons. Hear, hear!
  17. I saw her on CBS Sunday Morning, it's nothing new, it's the same old story.
  18. He was one of the two people we never see, the first officer and the engineer.
  19. I don't see how he can get past forging a document.
  20. I think the kid saw the Lord putting the body up the chimney, I also think the Lord was covering up for someone else. Me too. But you called it, nonetheless! After listening to that litany of horrors that Joe had to go through I couldn't help but feel for him. Tragic figure, indeed. I am living for those furtive looks across the office.
  21. Hands down best dialogue in the best scene!
  22. Note to Donckers and team: The husband is always guilty!
