  1. Oh, they'd have to do many, many hours of penance and get countless hours of therapy before one could honestly call them awful human beings.
  2. It is highly unlikely the show truly intended to kill Luke Spencer off in an offscreen ski lift accident. Whatever happens or whoever appears, there is no way IMO that that was not intended as some fakeout. In the meantime, it is insane that no one on the show has taken retribution against Victor for allegedly executing it. Laura, Robert and Lucky alone would not stop until he was dead. I will not be surprised at all if TG appears as part of the anniversary to resolve this, but one way or another whatever people's feelings about Luke or TG it is ridiculous they have left that story point hanging for so long. I can remember when Luke/TG was "must-see" soap and sadly, am one of his few supporters on this board. A return would be mind-blowing if the Actor is amenable to it. Everyday life in Amsterdam can't possibly be so compelling that TG couldn't take a few weeks away. Plus, I read that he simply adores JE, so a return from the dead might be a possibility. After all, Laura returned from the dead so many times that the GH kid characters actually made a game of it in the 90s.
  3. I really don't think this show puts enough focus on the fact that Nina and Willow both have diagnosable mental illnesses. In the real world neither one of them would or should be allowed around vulnerable children.
  4. Disgusting. If there was ever a good time for a truly effective double hooking that was it.
  5. I couldn't agree more. As introduced, Esme has been nothing more than a one-note, "totally misunderstood bad girl/psycho" with no other identifying characteristics. Even the last bad-girl, Nell, dragged that ridiculous vision-board around with her like it was some kind of security blanket. But it also gave Nell some context and humanized her in a way. She was a person, despite doing awful things, that harbored some kind of hopes and dreams for a better future. We get none of that from Esme. I really do believe she's not faking the amnesia, and if so, it may be permanent, giving the writers a window to redeem the character.
  6. I'm brand new to the show, but damn, some of these Yellowstone women are so bashed-up in the face due to all the fighting they do. A plastic surgeon's dream. And yes, as another poster said, John Dutton is a cowboy version of Tony Soprano. But a lot deadlier and ruthless apparently. Tony engaged in a lot of hand-wringing (mostly) before deciding to kill people.
  7. Funniest thing I've read in ages. I can just imagine Faison saying "no time to stalk Anna today or to try and kill Robert, Luke, or Duke. My little Britta has a recital this afternoon and I've got to be in the front row."
  8. The photos threw me at first because so many were not anything from the episodes. KT seems to have been a joyful young girl who loved life. She was smiling in virtually every childhood snap. Probably has made her RL parents very proud and happy, methinks. As others have posted, KT certainly appears to be a fave among her co-stars, much as Kristoff St. John was over on Y&R before he passed... Took me quite some time to warm up to Britta/KT, but now I'll certainly miss her. Has there been any rumors about her next gig? For some reason I really see her doing will on a CSI-type of procedural.
  9. Cyrus was clearly today's MVP. And he really shouldn't have to cajole Laura into accepting his help against Victor. Right now the body count is relatively low, with only Luke (for whatever reason, seems like a pointless off-screen kill). Victor defines "clear and present danger" as he's shown no qualms about taking out Laura, Lesley or anyone else he deems necessary. Did anyone else catch that Martin got ahead of Cyrus with not one, but two scriptures to mockingly support the latter's argument? Maybe Awesome Writer can craft a scene where Cyrus quotes Ezekiel 25:17, ala Jules Whitfield in Pulp Fiction.
  10. The main problem with Chase (as well as the Actor), is that I don't see or hear the love for singing. Rick Springfield and Jack Wagner (despite his issues) seemed to have equal passion for acting and music. Even John Stamos looked like he enjoyed drumming and the guy was no Ringo Starr. For some reason I've always loved this obscure Jack Wagner GH duet from back in the day: Jack Wagner and Edie Lehmann
  11. More than that, can anyone else recall a Soap with virtually NO couples you can root for? Mac/Felicia feel like an obligatory root because they're Legacy characters. Austin/Maxie was a misfire from day one. Dante/Sam are just kind of...there (and he deserves better than Sorry Sam). Ned/Olivia? No one really cares. Curtis/Portia had potential, then he turned into an insufferable arse and she into a boring, squealing schoolgirl. Sonny/Nina? Old psychos in love. Laura and Kevin haven't been on in ages. I'm really missing the heat we used to get from Alan/Monica, Luke/Laura and even Robert/Holly (90s iteration). The couples we're stuck with now don't generate as much heat as Lee and Gail Baldwin, sadly.
  12. Hmm. Maybe we'll see a Snow Globe in Joss's Dorm Room one day.
  13. Wow - that's quite a memory you have there! Color me impressed.
  14. Fascinating coincidence - the other day after Nic's faux "reveal" about Elizabeth, part of Ava's response included "the two of you rutting like pigs." That was the exact same line Lucky used years ago when he discovered Nic's real affair with Elizabeth. Wonder if that dialog was written by the same scribe, or just a fun call-back?
  15. Interestingly, Spencer seems to have a strong self-destructive streak that typifies every Cassadine male with the possible exception of Victor. And maybe Stefan. I'm kind of surprised that Laura hasn't fully recognized this and done more to address Spencer on his behavior. Otherwise, it looks like he'll be spending a lot more tine with Uncle Cyrus.
  16. With the Holiday Season in full swing, I just want to send best wishes to everyone on this board. We've got a great little community here that I appreciate and enjoy.☺️ It's a safe, secure place to be in a time when the world has gotten increasingly unstable and chaotic! Look forward to hanging out with you guys in 2023!!!🎅☃️❄️
  17. It makes sense, though. The way JK plays Cyrus, it's clear that the character spends a lot of his available time reading, explaining him having at least one Scripture in his holster at all times. Agreed. Back in the day Anna frequently mentioned Sean Donnelly as her mentor. Speaking of which, this S/L would be a perfect occasion to loop in Sean's daughter, Anna's namesake.
  18. Boy do I really miss Kate and Allie. It was one of the 80s best and most under-rated sitcoms, and Jane really shined. But all I get on TV Land is 20 hours of Two and a Half Men every week.
  19. Well in all fairness, a lot of PC residents could benefit from a good Proctologist.
  20. That was...the worst Thanksgiving Day episode ever. It's like no one was even trying - the actors were handed a shit script and just went along with it. Yeesh.
  21. ITA about Emma Samms. Seems as if working is unpleasant/uncomfortable for her due to the Long COVID, but she needs the paycheck. She clearly appears "off," unwell. It's fortunate for Emma that she's surrounded by vets like TR, GF, and CS to carry the load. Hope to see ES again when she's in better health. Seems like it's going to take science awhile to figure out the Long COVID issue, sadly.
  22. A little late to the Party on this one, but Puppet Martha seems 1,000% more chill than real-life Martha. Maybe it's those Cannabis gummies she's taking for her Glaucoma?
  23. Based on Monday's previews, Robert F! Scorpio is BACK. And the Axel F Theme won't stop playing in my head.
  24. Maybe it stems from my strong dislike of Steven A. Smith as a sports pundit, but every time Brick comes on screen I wish someone would punch him in the mouth. So smarmy and disingenuous.
  25. Totally. In her talk with Anna in the van, Heather made it so clear that she was very happy being institutionalized. Sometimes when people have been "away" for so long, the prospect of life "on the outside" terrifies them. That's why most of Heather's conversations deal with events that happened over 40 years ago. Life was so much more manageable for her back then. Also, and this may be a matter of personal preference, but who the heck puts ketchup on a BLT??? For me it's Miracle Whip all the way!!!! Ketchup is for the fries, along with a nice salt-and-pepper mix. Slaw and lots of pickles on the side are must-haves.
