  1. Quote - This is show is obsessed with Baby Boomer nostalgia, which is fine for Jack/Rebecca stuff. But it's absolutely odd using that kind of stuff for their kids on a constant basis. I chalk that up to the involvement of Ken Olin, star of thirtysomething, the quintessential boomer TV show.
  2. I have to second (third?) the Jack and Bobby love. My additions to this category - American Dreams and Joan of Arcadia.
  3. Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek. From a sweet, studious girl next door to the femme fatale every guy wanted. Jackie on Roseanne. From a normal struggling single girl to a total idiot, Wacky Jackie. Also from Roseanne - Mark. He started out as a punk, but ended up totally clueless. Ned Flanders on The Simpsons. From kindhearted neighbor to stereotype.
  4. Hahahaha^, so true. Kendall isn't the only one not have been around though, wasn't Nia also new to the studio (as in joined for the show?) Actually, I believe Nia was there since she was a mini. Jojo, Kendall and Kalani joined for the show.
  5. Was Ralph Waite's Wikipedia page edited? I see no reference to the HP article there.
  6. So Meri drank the Kool-Aid? Cult humor, couldn't resist. Sorry.
  7. South Jersey here, too, and my mom was from South Philly. She would probably be appalled that this is even being shown in prime time due to the cursing....nary a swear word at our northeastern home.
  8. My favorite line of the night was when Meri swore she knew that the baby was a girl. Kinda funny coming from a person who didn't even know the gender of the person she was "dating."
