When G and Jaskier were at the door to the Data Brokers house, and G tossed the 'creature' heart to spring the trap, and Jaskier began a riff on the ol' Roger Rabbit line- ala 'Is that a rabbit in your pocket or are you just glad to see me' -joke. Not a nit-picker, but felt weirdly out of place. But I guess a writer just couldn't resist...

When Lt Ramon made the run from Sick Bay, the security guard took a shot at him and missed (!). From the looks of it, that was obviously a kill shot. Shouldn't it have been set on stun?

Title sequence reminds me so much of His Dark Materials... -so much Dust.

Not a big deal really, but this episode genuinely felt like Millennials at the keyboard. What, with the whole automated response system for the wormhole! An automated system to handle complaints like freaking Amazon! A super advanced species who is described as being beyond space and time talking about a time window for handling complaints(!). I understand that sci-fi is often treated as a lens to look at contemporary issues in life/society, but that crap is a bit on the nose. Written more like an episode of Friends than science fiction.

And to think people complained about 'The Sopranos'.😄 I'm gonna have to go back and watch the last couple of eps to remind myself. The recap was helpful, but mainly served to remind me of how much of the story I'd forgotten. Can't help but wonder what behind the scenes shenanigans led to such a delay, can't believe this was just because of Covid. Surprised they didn't just give it up...

On IMDB rating: 6.6. I think this says a lot. The snappy and literate dialogue, along with the biting social commentary, would strongly suggest writing outside the US. Seriously doubt it would fly (!) on American Network TV, let alone get another season. Plenty of broad comedy, but assumes a level of sophistication of the audience that's very rare here. Plenty of shows make me smile or snort, but this is the only one it gets an out-loud laugh from me several times an episode. Looking through the reviews, it really strikes me how many of them expressed wonder at the savage reviews early in its run. It seems many of them were annoyed at the lack of dead-accurate science and fart jokes. I'll admit the sci-fi twist of the show is why I started watching in the first place, but the excellent writing has kept me as a fan.

Just had a couple of questions about the timeline portrayed in the story. It's clearly post-war Britain oh, maybe early 60s in the beginning? Now we seem to have moved to the early 70s. Especially in the first two seasons of the show, England is significantly smaller then the classical 'Great Britain' I'm used to. In this world, did the Allies defeat the 4th Reich? The Soviet Union exist? Bond style derring-do would be one of the dominant thematic elements of a story set in this time, but none here. Just wondering how much the DC version of History differs from the real thing.

Not really about this particular episode, more of a general question. As I've watched this show the past couple of years, it really strikes me how the writers have concocted an entire alternate history of post-war Britain, using many elements of the society that really did exist. I'd be fascinated with how viewers from the UK, if they were around, view this concept.

Charlotte, Christina/Dolores, Teddy, Clementine, and William are hosts, but how many are there total? Is this whole project just a scheme for Charlotte? Doesn't seem to be set up for their 'kind' have control of humanity, only her. Did she secretly have dreams of godhood that her synthetic personality is acting out? She could obviously manufacture as many additional hosts as she wanted. Keeping Christine asleep as a narrative writer seems pointless; no reason she couldn't invent those herself.

I didn't read every post, but I did do a search before posting and didn't see the magic words. I just have to ask, did they really never explain how the Soviet helicopter got the rotors attached? That would have been a huge job, and taking some real expertise. When they showed it in the hangar, they were clearly missing...

Was there supposed to be a difference in appearance after the procedure? I didn't see any.

Why is it when I first saw all the solo shots of her, did I immediately thought- 'Seth's gotta be hitting that'...

This may be the only show I watch from one of the big three Networks. I have to admit I was shocked to hear the type of language they use now. I'm old enough to remember when they would half-mask out the word sh*t on Hill Street Blues. And that seemed edgy. Has this become normal now?

So the reality is that El is still a prisoner at the NINA facility. The other kids are dead, and she and Dr Brenner are alone there?

But we see Brenner and the other kids at the facility dead. Up until then, he was interacting with Eleven in a seemingly re-captured state. The other scientist (Paul Reiser) was back after a (seemingly) long absence. All suggests this is happening now (1986). If the final show-down between Eleven and 001 ended up with El turning him into Vecna and Brenner's death happened in 1979, how is that possible?

I'm really curious about the timeline. It seems like Eleven getting captured, Will's mom going to rescue Hopper, and Vecna going on a killing spree were all happening simultaneously. Yet this last episode seems to suggest Vecna's creation was in the past, before 11 escaped. How can that be? Her memories of all the killing in the facility could not be memories, but future echoes? They really tried to screw with the perception of events here...

As Alicia made her way up the Tower stairs, right after the shot of the picture board, there was clearly someone standing right in front of her. How could such a mistake make it through editing/screening? Did they figure no one would notice?!
