Losing Jason means nothing when everyone knows it’s temporary and the hotel was always a meh loss. She only got half of the already successful hotel because she traded those ELQ  stocks that Lorenzo randomly gave up in the settlement of their short marriage. The “controlling interest” in ELQ that the show forgot about as soon as they mentioned it since Jax was never shown to be involved in the company after that happened and a few years later, somehow Edward had all the stocks and could redistribute them in his will. When she lost it because of her own get rich quick scheme, like 5 people offered to buy her the hotel back and it was only her own pride that kept her from getting it.

In the real world, there was probably enough collateral between her devalued Aurora shares and the hotel to justify a long term loan at a reasonable interest rate to purchase her Metro Court shares.  But these writers appear to have no knowledge of how the real world works in any way.

MW looked amazing in that red coat and so did CW in her black dress. Ava, Nina, and Sonny acting like characters in a YA novel though - really not my cup of tea.

It’s nice to see Eva LaRue back on screen, but I think I’m going to have a hard time with her character.

CW should continue to wear her hair up like she did last week.  She has the neck, jawline and cheekbones to pull it off.  And I always appreciate a woman with an exquisite jawline and good cheekbones.

Even if CM wasn’t playing things completely unhinged, I’ll never feel sorry for Drew. He chose to go to prison instead of Carly because it was more important for Carly to be there for her kids than for Drew to be there for Scout even though the insider trading scheme was 100% her idea and against his wishes. He also chose to snitch for Sonny while in prison, which was the only reason he got beaten up.

Since getting out of prison, he spends all his time either with Carly or ranting about Nina, save a single scene with Scout where he was trying to force her to go to a school she didn’t want to attend. Hell, he took over for Michael on a business deal in Australia because he wanted Michael to be able to spend the holidays with his kids even though, again, it would mean he’s away from Scout despite his constant complaints that his prison stint caused him to lose time with her.

Drew should be confronted by some Aurora shareholders that he and the other Carly’s screwed over with their ELQ scheme.

he deserved to go to prison.

PS. I hope to god Jason is not going to show up having rescued Morgan and brought him home to Carly, ala Lucky with Jake.  I would rather Morgan be behind the shootings cuz he hates the mob and the mob almost cost him his life!

I had a similar thought.  I have a feeling that however this plays out that it will be stupid and hamfistedly written.

It’s interesting how Carly lashed out at Ava nonstop for Iike 6 years for killing Morgan but now that Ava’s in the inner circle, she doesn’t get a passing mention and Carly puts the blame solely on Olivia Jerome.

Because they’re probably setting up a ‘romance’ between Sonny and Ava.

So Anna, Dante,  and Jordan all had issues John and the Feds not wanting to share and work together and what do they do when the Feds start working with them? They work on a plan to get information before the Feds and discuss the case with unauthorized personnel.

Yeah can’t stand Diane’s smugness. Really annoyed that Finn was cleared but Diane didn’t really lose. I really wanted her to suffer a humbling loss.

As I am acquainted with many attorneys, I find Diane is unaccountable arrogance to be authentic.  She reminds me of a female version or an attorney I know.  The guy can’t go five minutes without condescendingly reminding people that he graduated from Vanderbilt Law School, while lecturing them about any number of subjects.  Subjects where he displays abject ignorance.

Turns out a law degree doesn’t really convey any special knowledge about economics, finance, geopolitics, science, or much of anything outside of the law.

TJ and Molly need to stop acting as if Kristina is deliberately trying to contradict them. They're so hateful toward her. They barely try to give her any benefit of the doubt. They're treating her like an incubator and it's gross.

LOL at Cyrus's face when Heather barged in: "Here we go." Hee. That said, I'm tired of her barging in everywhere and screaming like a banshee.

These Jason anvils are relentless. I wonder when we'll start to see him skulk around Port Charles, watching people with tears in his eyes.

Isn’t Heather supposed to be locked up in a mental ward?  So how the HELL is she just wandering around everywhere?  And then all the LE people burst in?  Are they total morons?  Anna, Jagger, and the gang just pretty much blew their operation.

The whole thing was stupid beyond all reason.  The writers have now descended to a new level of bad.

Diane's got a lot of fucking nerve telling the woman whose mother put her in a 20-yr coma and whose children were then taken from said comatose body, that her money will fix everything.  Added richness because Diane is a mouthpiece for Sonny and formerly Jason, who paid her insane sums of money to make their crimes go away.  But, lol, I'll take Nina basically proving her point that 99% of Diane's life is being an attorney for awful people.  Congrats, you asshole.

Do the writers understand that they make us hate the ‘heroes’ and ot for the ‘bad people’ like Nina?

Gotta admit I laughed a lot during the big finale on the boat. It was just...  aggressively dumb. I noticed the stateroom door still had the bolt lock on the outside of the door from when it was used to hold numerous people hostage on the Haunted Star. Spencer and Trina should have taken a second to lock it! Bummer Esme went all "homicidal maniac" at the end, but Heather will be proud.

I am all for Jagger if he is actually going to arrest people for interfering in an investigation versus agreeing to share info with the mob and/or being manipulated into going off book with Anna and Jordan. Meanwhile PC's finest Dante vows to "question everyone" in the shooting attempt on Sonny ...which happened in Puerto Rico ...which Sonny thinks is an inside mob job ...which Sonny is not even reporting to the police. Way to serve and protect, Dante!

Chief Wiggum would have a better chance of cracking the case.

  10. It was so gross watching the writers use Tracy to prop up Carly Prime as some kind of good negotiator.  Where Tracy should have just eaten Carly alive.  Apparently the sole purpose of all non Carly’s is to prop up a Carly, or Carly’s at all times.

im basically rooting for Esme, Nina, and every other character the writers intend us to root against.  That’s how bad it is.

Glad we're back! The Spencer scenes have been more affecting than they normally would be for someone we all know is alive, I think because the cast is probably reeling from the real-life cast deaths still. Especially Tyler's -- I got the feeling he was the real "sweet prince" of the obituary that made NLG break down.

And poor Eden McCoy looked about half of her already-trim size on her first show back on Friday after her mother's death. We've said that Dex is probably being phased out because of Jason's return, but it's probably also likely the actor got some leave in order to support EM.

Speaking of Jason, do we think he's had more brain tinkering and he's the one targeting Sonny? Starting to wonder if that's going on with Drew as well.  Helena, is that you???

It’s strange.  I despise Joss, but at the same time can’t help feeling a great deal of sympathy for poor Eden’s loss.

Carly to Nina: "It's entirely legal for Drew to fire you." Actually, no, the  whistleblower law protect her. But this is Carly, who thought that buying all that Aurora stock. That bodes well for Aurora.

Meanwhile Dante says Nik is legally not kidnapping Ace.

Why does this show like to beat up on people who are already down? It's not pleasant to watch.

Carly: "I agreed to be Crimson's editor in chief so that I could see Nina's face when I took something that she loved."  Carly, you have done nothing but take away things that Nina loved.

Olivia is the only decent person in Nina's story, Laura in Ace's kidnapping. Clever of Laura to think that if Esme has regained her memory, she would rain down hellfire on Spencer and Nik Go Esme, go!

I hope that Nina burns Aurora down.

Carly always was a social climber par excellance.

Nina should buy/start her own publication and loot all the talent from crimson.  She should also organize an investor group and start a hostile takeover of Aurora and fire current management (Drew and Carly).  If I were Nina, I would do that just as a warmup.

It occurred to me that Drew fired the editor who made Crimson Aurora's biggest asset and is replacing her with a woman whose only experience if magazines is reading them at the beauty parlour (most likely). On top of the insider trading conviction.

How has the board not got rid of Drew yet? Or at least dumped their stocks in this mess of a company ?

Steve Jobs, who founded Apple and was actually a genius, got ousted for less back in the 80’s.

I understand her thinking. She does remember now so she may slip up again. Everyone tells her how awful she was and that she MUST. BE. PUNISHED. for it In New York, the maximum is one year in jail so I would risk it but this show doesn't follow actual laws.

Also Laura convinced Esme to admit to breaking into Ava's house by saying that she wouldn't have consequences and that proved to be false so Esme has no reason to trust Laura now either.

If it were me, I would go to the police and draw on being kidnapped and held by Nik and get him removed as a parent who has custody. But really, the show wants her out for vengeance because that's the only thing they know what to do with her.

I read on Twitter that Carly had no experience in hotel management and she made the Metro Court a success. (She also made Bobbie's a roaring success by adding flowers to the tables) so she will be a brilliant editor at Crimson. (Why did I bother paying for an education when I could just step into a senior management role like Carly does?)

Maxie would be a better editor than Carly because she has at least some experience but Drew's brain has been extracted and he thinks that Carly is the be-all and end-all.

I'm hoping for Nina to take the high road and start a media company that buries Aurora.

Carly has the advantage of unjustified impenetrable plot armor.

I’ve decided (this is all spec) that I want Nina to somehow acquire ELQ stock, so that she can be the crucial vote (a la Lucy) at board meetings.  It would make Drew’s head explode, and that’s how he’d be written off.*

*Finn would try to treat him at the hospital but fail, and Liz would leave him over it.

Isn’t Nina one of the wealthiest characters on the show?  Given how she pretty much just wrote a check to acquire Carly’s hare of the Metrocourt, I would think she is in the same financial weight class as any of the Q’s or Nikolas.  Focusing the storyline on Nina using her financial power to crush her enemies would be interesting.  But I’m sure whatever we actually get will be weak nonsensical crap.

Why on earth do the characters on this show just take anybody's word for whether something is legal or not?  They never even say, "I'll ask my lawyer (because everyone here has one) about that and get back to you".  Only on TV do people get fired and not have to deal with paperwork ending their employment or talking with HR. I worked in an "at will" state, but I think most companies (even the little ones) tried to be sure they had their ducks in a row before firing someone because there are plenty of annoying lawsuits and bad PR that will tarnish their reputations and could cost money just to make them go away.

I wonder how Dante figures that Nik is not kidnapping Ace? If Esme had amnesia when she gave birth, would she have put Nik's name on the birth certificate as father? Is everyone just assuming that Nik is the parent and even though he's been out of the picture for all of Ace's life, he can just come in and take him? So, anyone who showed up and said, "I'm the dad, and I'm taking this kid to Europe" would be within their rights? Esme is so freaked out that she's getting advice from everyone except the most responsible person she knows - Laura OR Kevin. Asking a psychopath and a criminal what to do is not going to end well.

Also, why the hell does Nina even care if she and Drew are now "even"? If I were she, I'd at least lock all my devices so neither Drew nor Carly could access anything. The "evil" me would delete material or cancel orders to wreak havoc, but that might work against me in my lawsuit, so probably not.

The writing for this show is utter dogshit.  No wait, that’s unfair…… to dogshit.

Diane and Rober'ts argument was ridiculous.  First, none of this was brand new information.  Second, of course a DA should want to put away bad guys.  Third, 3/4 of the town is Sonny's friend, including Anna.  Why single Diane out over that?

By attacking Kevin, Esme just lost her last ally.  I really don't understand the point of that.  Kevin wasn't going to stop her from leaving.

I would love to be in the meeting with these writers so I could scream  at them over this garbage.

If this were real life, Nina could sue the hell out of Drew and Aurora for firing her. She’s covered by the whistleblower protection act for reporting insider trading.

And Drew’s ass is hanging as far as civil litigation for his corporate malfeasance as Aurora’s CEO or whatever the Hell he is there.  They. Ed a new nemesis for him that would be an Aurora shareholder that his antics screwed worse than Carly.  I could play that brilliantly, and I’m not even an actor.

And it would actually salvage this whole shit storyline if his obnoxious entitled ass were forced to deal with someone he hurt with the whole stupid merger storyline.

You know the Carlys would pillory Nina for giving up on her family. Nina can't win no matter what.

We've suffered through months of Nina being piled on one way or another. When Nina is getting blamed for being blackmailed, it's time to change the direction of the story. I'd like to see her do something for the Carlys that's so significantly good they can't deny it, and then have things go from there. They'll still hate her and accuse of acting in her own self-interest, but at least Nina would have something unarguably decent on her scorecard.

And speaking of blackmail, I hope Esmé calls Spencer's bluff. I can't believe that turd put his own feelings for revenge ahead of the well-being of his 1-year-old brother.

Or maybe Esme should fidget herself a linebacker boyfriend at PCU and have him beat the holy crap out of Spencer.

Run Nina, run. Willow is yelling at you for telling the truth now and her smug self-righteousness is off the charts. Sonny hates you for reporting a crime, and everyone blames you because Carly and Drew got consequences for their actions. I hate that Nina has to grovel to these low lifes.

I'm sure Carly will forgive Michael at the start of the next episode. Keeping Nina from Willow is what she herself did after all.

"Drew, the man who saved my life."  Barf Drew enabled you and Liesl to save Willow's life. which I am now thinking is a big mistake. The show doesn't need any  more water carriers for the Carlys.

Spemcer accuses Esme of blowing up his life,  No, Spencer, that would be you. Take responsibility for your actions. Then Spencer blackmails Esme after kidnapping her son.

Liz think that the other doctor should break medical ethics because Finn is nice man.

    A+ misogynism, show.

Esme should call his bluff.  I would bet on her getting him thrown in prison for aiding and abetting Dikolas before she would be in any trouble for him just suspecting she regained her e memories.

Whenever I see comments about the "veterans" not being featured enough, I fear that someone associated with GH is going to take that to mean Dex and Drew, since they were in the military.

Sonny's face when he turned around at the hospital and saw Nina was hilarious to me. Mo overshot the mark just enough for it to be funny. The face he made is more appropriate for turning around to see Nina in a clown costume handing out popsicles. I had to freeze it on the spot; I needed a few more seconds with it. Then I made a side-by-side with a meme of a bewildered cat. You're welcome.

Plus all of the other crimes he has committed over the years.

Edit: So Spencer just handed off his little brother to a man that said child doesn’t know. So that said child, will probably never see any of the people he knows, loves and trusts again? On what planet is that healthy for Ace?  And if they think that Esme is reverting back to form, what do they think she’s going to do now?

Esme should have Spencer’s ass thrown in prison for aiding and abetting a kidnapping.  He has priors, so they would probably throw the book at him.
