  1. What they did was technically different, but the results were the same. Serena took away Osaka’s opportunity to celebrate and feel good about her accomplishment just like Will Smith took away all the Oscar winner’s moments to shine.
  2. Sunny is a hypocrite. She said that Will Smith took away ‘the moment’ for all the Oscar winners for his own selfishness. I totally agree with that viewpoint. However, just a few years ago Sunny supported Serena Williams who took away Naomi Osaka’s ‘moment’ of winning the US Open. In fact she lauded Serena for her actions. Osaka looked so sad when she won and has never been the same player since.
  3. To be fair, she only said that she may quit Twitter. There was nothing definite about her comments.
  4. Give me a break, Meghan. If there was a show like this with men as the panelists, and they behaved like these ladies, the show would be heavily criticized as being misogynistic and full of male toxicity.
  5. She can be a pain in the ass, but so can all of them. It is important for a show like this to have an opposing view. It’s pretty boring watching a show where everyone just agrees with each other and pats each other on the back. Even Ana, the supposed Republican always agrees with the others. The View is supposed to be a show with a diversity of viewpoints. That will be absent once Meghan leaves.
  6. Yes, but 100% of unborn babies are innocent. If a guy panelist made that joke, he would have been fired.
  7. Joy’s point doesn’t really make sense. There IS a distinct difference between killing INNOCENT unborn babies and killing GUILTY people who have committed unspeakable heinous crimes.
  8. You think Harris will be able to fix all of those countries problems in a short visit?
  9. I agree with Sunny that you should be able to criticize the policies Israel without it being labeled antisemitic. However, she (or many of the panelists) never has a problem labeling it racism or sexism if Obama’s or Hillary Clinton’s policies are criticized. Hypocrisy is alive and well on both sides.
  10. Whoopi’s sexist comment about men not being able to run a house was egregious and indefensible. Sunny saying $300 a week is not a lot of money shows her privilege. That $300 is a bonus on top of regular unemployment payments. I don’t think people who are collecting this are lazy. It is pure economics. It makes no sense to work 40 hours a week at a job when you can stay home and make more. This is especially true with kids at home doing virtual learning.
