Watched the Palm Springs dinner episode with the hubs, and he said “Why is Judge Doom (Roger Rabbit) on the show?” after watching Meredith’s eyes bug out. Hit the nail on the head for me.

This cast is the best the Bravo production could get? In New York? Good God, they make me want Ramona back…

I’m not in support of Raquel, but as someone in the health field, something is definitely not right with her. If she is pushed, she’s capable of suicidal ideation and committing. When you watch initial episodes with her, she seems fine. Maybe a bit too gullible and soft but mentally sound. I do think James had a negative affect on her and mentally and emotionally abused her behind the scenes. I think Sandoval used her and played into his own fantasy. He was hoping, in some sort of sick way, that it would make Ariana jealous or fall more in love with him and fight for their relationship. I think Raquel has separation issues given what her mother did to her, and seeks comfort, identity and purpose in men. Pageantry has taught her that women are the enemy so she can never have a fulfilling friendship.

That “top” comment was pretty ugly. What an ahole. Nothing is hot about Tom, nothing. Ugh, what am I going to do on Wednesday nights? Guess it’s only the Geriatric Golden Girls of OC now.

Agree with this. Crucify Raquel - something is not all there - as well as Tom, but the whole putting Ariana on a pedestal and glorifying her is throwing me off.

Ariana and Tom had a dodgy relationship. I’m sorry; even if I was bi, I wouldn’t drunkenly hop in the back seat with a good friend in front (or behind) my boyfriend even with his consent. There has to be some level of commitment, and these two are weird to say the least. Let’s be honest - she wasn’t into the guy (again, don’t blame her) and their relationship was a facade. Everyone in this show has slept with one another and have been deceitful to some extent or the other. I’m not going to be “poor Ariana” when she met the guy while he was cheating (with her) on his then girlfriend. The signs were all there. There are many women that have men cheat and/or abusive, and don’t have a dime to their name - they’ll get my sympathy. To me, this whole thing looks scripted. From everyone knowing to the sad acting.

Thank you - you nailed it. I think Schwartz and Sandoval were failing with the restaurant and she offered a way out. A HELOC was taken out on the joint home so Ariana may have also signed on for financial reason. The acting is TERRIBLE. Emmy worthy it is not. I think this is why Raquel doesn’t have any expressions on her face, and Ariana and Tom are so over the top. Even the 1:1 with Ariana and Tom was odd. I could never be that calm—it wasn’t normal. VPump wanted to keep this going for another year or more and they needed the scandal since viewers were losing interest. Let’s not forget the way Ken spilled the tea. He was going around in circles and almost walked into the door. Feels really scripted.

Melissa is looking like the sane one, and Teresa sounds like a blubbering idiot. Teresa is jealous of the relationship that Melissa and Joe have because she obsessed with her brother and never had a man that was ride or die for her. She did have a man that put her in jail though. Luis is clearly a nut job and it’s all going to come out in Part 2. He’s the reason all her relationships are falling apart. Can someone PLEASE get rid of Danielle. She talks like someone from the Sopranos and even they’d turn on their her. No wonder her brother stopped talking - she’s an embarrassment.

I agree that it was deceit as I stated but cheating is cheating. They both stepped out of their relationship with a friend. How do we know what Ariana did? She was with this cheat when he was with Kristin and she DENIED it. We don’t know the truth about their relationship since they both coached each other to be a power couple. I’m sorry; but everyone brought it to Ariana’s attention. If you know your man has cheated before, why would you continually stick up for him? She’s clearly not dependent or clingy for him so it doesn’t make sense. Look at Britney and Jax. She’s just beer cheese from Alabama without him so I can understand why she might have been in denial. Ariana found someone immediately so they clearly were not happy.

Am I about to blow Ariana’s spot up with Jax and Brittany right now? Hell no,” she explained. I think Tom and Ariana are both dodgy, but the hypocrisy is something else. No wonder Lala is fighting hard for Ariana. So she’s allowed to mess with a friend but it’s ok since it’s the same gender? The only difference is the Sand moron did it behind her back but c’mon, all the signs were there. Everyone seemed to know except Ariana, which is all very strange to me. Wondering if these guys were paid MASSIVE amounts of money to play this all out for more views. The math isn’t mathing.

Agreed and doesn’t hurt to have a bunch of endorsements that is allowing her career take off while fans are sabotaging his restaurant. Not too shabby. Well played. Tom and Raquel are awful for what they did but I truly believe Ariana and Tom were done a long time ago and just going through the motions. She slept with Lala and that was totally fine so I’m very confused on what is defined as fidelity in their relationship. Sexually Experimenting with a friend? Totally fine. Huh? What? They all need to grow up. They are on their 30-40s and act like children.

This is what I think went down. Ariana has no interest in Tom (who could blame her), but rather than break up she clung onto the relationship because they had some sort of weird partnership going on. I believe they were not intimate, and I truly think that she was aware of the relationship, but didn’t want confirmation. I don’t think she trusted him after Miami girl so this whole “I had no idea” is really not adding up. Ariana seems like a tough cookie that micromanages Tom.

Thank you! This whole thing of “But I didn’t sleep with my partner’s best friend!” No, Lauren, you just broke up a family and then had the same thing happen to you. Why these women think they’ll be “the one” is beyond me.

Actually when Jax cheated on Beer Cheese (can’t remember her name), he vehemently denied it just as Tom did with Miami girl. These three, Schwartz, Sandoval and Jax constantly covered for one another and were constantly in denial about their affairs. End of the day, they all suck. I get that Ariana’s been through a lot but perhaps he would not have been able to moralize himself if she didn’t constantly defend him. She made sure to discredit Miami girl and anyone else, all the while covering for a guy that has a history of cheating. She met Tom while he was still with a Kristin - that should have been a red flag right there. On a different note, the below is pretty great.

I think Ken fills her love tank just fine 1x every decade and on special occasions. I don’t think she’d stoop so low to be with either of these morons, but I do think she’s not about ganging up, esp when her business is involved.

The “cool thing” has more to do with the cast, not the viewers. Cheating is cheating and I understand that there are different levels, but Lala and James screaming their heads off when they’ve both been guilty is laughable and hypocritical. Lala was with a married man that basically paid her to be with him. James was sleeping around on Raquel with pretty much everyone. Also, didn’t Ariana have a sexual interaction with Lala, a best friend? Let’s not forget how Ariana met Tom. Yes, Kristin is all sorts of crazy but Ariana should’ve known, once a cheater, always a cheater — she would be no different. When I see Jax, the biggest scum bag of all time, speaking on the subject as though he’s the Dalai Lama, I want to hurl. I get that Sandoval did an awful thing, and he’s no doubt an ahole, but the double standard with this group is hilarious. Just watching them, I feel like I need to get an STD check.
