  1. We’ve all seen a lot of people saying this movie wasn’t necessary because TS3 wrapped up the story perfectly. I had thought so too, until I saw TS4 and saw there was still unresolved characterization for Woody. TS3 just kicked the can down the road as far as Woody’s dedication to his kid. Bonnie would grow up eventually too, then Woody would be in the same panicked position as in the beginning of 3. And until then, he was in a worse position because he wasn’t the “leader” of Bonnie’s room, and Bonnie had lost interest in him much earlier than the other toys. Woody’s clung so tightly to “his kid” throughout all three movies that it caused him excessive anxiety and paranoia. But when he was able to face his worst fear and find it not so bad, he was able to let go and experience life to its fullest. Some great thinking/talking points about fear, anxiety, and stepping outside your comfort zone.
  2. I love that Randall's idea of being relaxed is giving William detailed instructions on what he expects of him in his role as the navigator.
  3. I'm just going off memory here, but I believe the guy said he "typically" draws about 8cc. I don't think he measured it at the time. What I *did* spend too much time researching was the timeline and limo driver's testimony to address the glove issue. By the time Simpson arrived at home (10:55), he knew he was way past the scheduled limo pick-up time (10:35) and knew the driver would be waiting and ringing the buzzer and not finding him home. Plus, by the time Simpson got inside and showered (more important than looking for the glove because he can hardly go out with blood all over him!) Kato is outside looking around with a flashlight and talking to the limo driver. No way could Simpson go out with his own flashlight and start poking around. Considering Fuhrman initially thought the glove was "dog poo", I'd say it would have been pretty hard to find. And that was WITH a flashlight, which Simpson couldn't have used outside Kato's room in any case. THE most important thing was to be on that flight as an alibi. As several have mentioned, gloves can be planted, but people can't be in two places at once. He was counting on being seen several times that night and almost succeeded. In fact, as it was he only pulled up to the airport 10 minutes before the flight departed, so 5-10 minutes to look for the glove would have made a difference. He also had to check bags, and possibly dispose of murder evidence. Seriously, if you're dressed in clothes and shoes with blood on them and possibly still have the murder weapon with you, those are really important to dispose of - definitely more important than the gloves! The prosecution presented evidence that he may have disposed of them at the airport. He knew how much time it took to get to LAX from his home and knew he was desperately in danger of missing his best chance at an alibi and opportunity to get rid of the clothes and knife. You're very late, the limo driver and Kato are talking and comparing notes. Yes, at this point you just get in the limo and get the hell out of dodge rather than comb your property for a glove. 4. Perhaps he is thinking of Mr. Magoo glasses.
  5. Fiji is a country that depends on its tourism. It is safe for the cast and crew now, and in fact was safe during the last time they filmed there. According to wiki, "...no significant protests or violence have occurred on Fiji during this [2006] coup." The Fijian people are the kindest and most generous hosts, and everyone at Ponderosa will be very well taken care of. I've been to the island where they are filming - it has a beautiful resort and is totally gorgeous. I can't wait for the show to go back to Fiji and wash off the stench of the previous Fiji season. :)
  6. I really didn't care for it. Very disappointing from Pixar, especially so soon after hitting it out of the park with "Inside Out." The animation was beautiful, no doubt, and the soundtrack was gorgeous and evocative. I wasn't very invested in the characters, though. Of course I felt mildly sad for Arlo and Spot due to their situations and losses, but there was nothing interesting about their personalities to draw me in. I left the theatre saying, "Well, I didn't think the world *needed* a dinosaur western, but now it has one. (shrug)"
  7. I read that Terry said there was a limit as to how much they could say while cameras were rolling because of HIPAA laws. Not sure if it was because Danny's doctor couldn't tell Jeff much because of HIPAA, and therefore Jeff didn't have any details for Terry, or if Jeff did know, but they couldn't talk about it on camera without Danny's or Terry's written permission.
  8. On his exit interview on "Rob Has A Podcast," Jeff stated that he was voted out because he was so smart, was playing the best game, and was a threat to the other side of the house. Rob then paused, and said "Yeah..............that's completely what I was getting, too!" in a tone that was sarcastic but not quite enough for Jeff to pick up on it. I laughed out loud.
  9. Question regarding Evolution of Strategy: Do you/should you rewatch a season before listening to each season? I was considering buying it, but the time commitment required to rewatch a season and then listen to all the hours seems too high for my current lifestyle. :) The only one I've bought is All-Stars, because I owned the DVD and rewatched each episode before listening to the podcast. And while I was listening, it seemed like Rob and Josh were doing a good job of setting things up in case you hadn't watched. Do you find this to be true? Could I just skip the re watching and go straight to listening?
  10. Surgery for both cast and crew? Yikes! NOOOOOOO! No Beast Mode Cowboy!!! Big Brother was bad enough, now he has to ruin Survivor?
  11. "Well, Jeff, I didn't apologize before because Shirin wouldn't accept it because she's horrible. I would now like to apologize to Shirin's family, you know, the ones who abused her and/or have little to no relationship with her. And Shirin, I hope you can use this pathetic excuse for an apology to get your head on straight, because it's still all your fault because you're crazy." Thank goodness Shirin took the opportunity to remind everyone about the "no soul" comments and ask why she should be treated that way in the first place.
  12. Regarding whether Black Widow was damseled: Josh Wigler and company (on Post Show Recaps which is part of the Rob Has A Podcast lineup) pointed out that a) BW only got captured because she pretty much singlehandedly saved The Vision-to-be from Ultron and put herself in a position to be captured and b) was rescued by Banner *because* she used her own ingenuity to get a message to Hawkeye. I don't see a damsel in distress there.
  13. I believe you have a few options for downloading them. I chose regular MP3 files then downloaded, then added to iTunes and played like regular music.
  14. I got a few chapters of EOS so I might be able to help. Did you purchase them through the store at Rob Has a Website? And about the Patron group, I don't do Twitter but could FB message him. I guess I'll give it another month...
