  1. Who issues tickets to a party in their living room? Abby and Chad are so far up their own arses it's ridiculous. I'm actually impressed with Gwen at this point, even though I'm past ready to learn what her whole deal is about.
  2. I honestly snickered when Ava went all "You forced yourself on that poor girl!" Yeah, what kind of person would do that, huh Ava?
  3. As someone with anxiety I can tell you that you don't have to have a reason to have a panic attack. Just general stress can bring one on. Or nothing in particular. I've had a panic attack come on just walking down the street. The point is that you can't say that there needs to be more sympathy for one person's mental health while mocking someone else.
  4. Today's episode was the best in a while. Charlie really went from 0 to 60 today. I thought his character was pretty blah up until now (handsome, but still blah) and wasn't sure how I was going to buy him being Allie's rapist, but it turns out his actor is just really good. He was able to play his character as a bland, innocuous nice guy with only occasional hissy fits then turn him into a truly deep and, likely, screwed up person on a dime. Impressive. I also really like the Claire/Allie scene. I've hated Allie ever since she was reintroduced and NuClaire left me a bit cold at first. Mostly because she looks so much older than the character has been played as up until now and the writing for her seems so bland compared to OldClaire's Chaotic Brat writing. Still, the actresses have a nice friend chemistry and it's been so long since we had a real genuine female friendship on this show, it was really refreshing.
  5. I don't think Kayla is completely wrong in her reaction to Tripp and Allie's situation. Allie's accusation is shaky on it's own, but Kayla did the DNA test herself which strengthens her claim considerably. Of course, we know that in Daysworld DNA tests mean very little with how often they get messed with and how the writers mess with scientific reality, but as a character in the show, Kayla doesn't know that. Also, people seem to gloss over the facts that a) Steve and Kayla didn't even meet Tripp until a few years ago so it's not like she's known him his whole life and b) just a couple of years ago he held a knife to her neck. Basically, she has a lot of reasons to distrust him and very few reasons to trust him.
  6. I miss Judy yelling. I wish she would yell more. I understand people mellow as they age, but I miss the firey/prickly Judy from the early seasons.
