  1. If they had to cut character's time this season it's a shame they didn't cut Abishola's mom! She's awful and not funny. I'd much rather see Delee (where has he been?) or literally any other character than her. I don't even understand why she's here. Until this episode I've never seen her do anything helpful even though she lives there and treats it as her house. She's just mean and bossy and serves no purpose. As she said Olu was the one that took in Abishola and had essentially been her surrogate mother for quite a long time. To me it wasn't even a fight between the sisters it was just Abishola's mom being jealous and wanting to knock Olu down in the church and home where she's been for years! It was just cruel and mean and petty! I hope her character gets sidelined for the remaining episodes,
  2. My recollection is he said she'd be at Abbott two days a week not that she'd be in her classroom two days a week. I thought it was her in capacity in her new role she'd be stopping by the school and on those days she could check in. I assume she's supposed to go to various schools at certain times and check in on them and assess needs. I think she's probably spending too much time at Abbott. I think it would be very disruptive to the kids to have a teacher two days a week and rotating subs the other day. JessCa was from Tiktok or YouTube or whatever. There was a story about it on my local news this morning. They showed a clip from her channel which I didn't find funny at all and have no idea how that would have gotten her a part but I did think she played it well and I also have no need to ever see her again.
  3. Did not enjoy this episode. It felt like a hot mess to me. And I don't know if it was because I wasn't paying close enough attention or because of the writing (the later is my guess) but I did not understand for the life of me why Mathias wanted Wes dead. Wes didn't know who Mathias was and didn't seem to know anything about the church bombing other than he built the bomb for it so what was Mathias afraid of with him? If Mathias is the ex-wife's new BF did he shoot himself to make him look less suspicious? It didn't look like it was a self inflicted wound but if he lives I'll be suspicious - maybe he's not working alone? I really want JM in a better show. He can take this sister but leave everyone else. Why can't he come back to Law & Order? Not that it's great now but it's better than this and he would only improve it.
  4. More sister and less assistants made this episode enjoyable for me. I did think, however, that the ex-wife was going to break up with her BF - dude was smothering!
  5. Me either! And I did try I didn't give up after one episode but after maybe four or five from the first season I was like "why am I forcing this on myself?". I didn't find it special and just couldn't deal with all the yelling. With all the awards I feel like I should try again but I just don't know. Different strokes.
  6. I found them especially annoying so I was hoping that was what would happen.
  7. Excellent question (also why is it in milk cartons?!). Even when the 'secret shopper' folks asked Lan she gave them a word salad that didn't explain anything. She said something about people thinking Vietnamese coffee was condensed milk and condensed milk is fattening..... so I guess it's supposed to be some cute play on that? IDK - between that and the milk cartons I thought it was an already made drink so was very confused when Gordon told her to make one of those! I'd be more impressed with Chris' 'invention' if he was somehow printing water! That's what i want someone to solve; getting water easily to places in disaster areas or places that just don't have access to clean drinking water. That would be Noble price worthy. His thing about saving on shipping his cups vs all those bottles is a misnomer because as everyone has said you can get packets of nearly everything that he showed and add water to it and use your own reusable glass or cup. At the end of the day is his just another single use product.
  8. For acting especially no one is going to care what college or any college at all. Most successful actors didn't go to college. I was so confused by the setup on the trip it looked like all the kids were staying in one hotel room with 2 large beds?
  9. While I agree with this I did think it was rude and presumptuous of her to just expect the Coopers to take care of CeeCee while she did this. She didn't even discuss it with them. Nor did she mention anything to Georgie before dropping the baby off with him when she went shopping with MeeMaw. Not saying that Georgie shouldn't share parenting duties but if one or both parents have jobs outside the home you can't just give them the baby as they're walking out the door. And Mandy knows where he works and she was with the only other employee there so what did she think was going to happen? Where do her parents live? I know she doesn't have the best relationship with them but why can't they help out too? Also, Georgie is very young and I can understand why she doesn't want to marry him but I don't like the way she kind of strings him along. In general I don't care for her.
  10. Maybe they should call the show 911 - Lone Rescue!
  11. Owen has never seemed the sharpest tool in the shed. Knows his skin care products but.... ! I think whatever 'happened' to Iris she faked it. It's all just too convenient that right after she suggests the annulment (in a round about way making TJ and Carlos freak out over it) she just happens to go missing and I'm sure everyone drives around with divorce papers in their car! Maybe if she had gone missing right after she left their house but we know she didn't because TK visited her at the shelter. I do not like this character at all. Didn't like her sister and like her even less. Please go and let's see some real rescues.
  12. I'm so tired of Abishola's mom. She brings nothing to show. She's even more dower than Abishola is and I've only recently grown tolerate of Abishola (seeing how horrible her mom is helped). As noted, this show has too many characters and she's one I'd like to send packing! What does she even do there all day long in Bob and Abishola's house? Does she contribute anything other than negativity. I liked the Drag Brunch and how Abishola talking to the performer on the bus (even if Abishola has no reason to take the bus). She clearly had some misconceptions about Drag but at least she seems willing and open to listen and learn. More Auntie and less Mommy!
  13. I could watch Denise and Lupe sit around all day yelling to their "Cabin Boy" and talking about their horses and where to vacation! This episode really had me cracking up. And yes, sadly, I did like better without Sarah. She can be a real downer but her and Denise are a good couple.
  14. So this was Derek's 3rd 'reality' show? I don't get it. I didn't have anything against him or Claire but I also didn't find either of the particularly interesting (though I'd take not interesting over obnoxious) - I'm really surprised he'd get cast on all these shows. The only one I watch is TAR but I thought BB especially cast 'personalities'. I was hoping the Twins would win (followed by Luis and Michelle) but they really messed up first with missing the parking then with driving aimlessly from the bridge with no idea where they were going and of course they were going in the wrong direction! Certainly can't begrudge Derek and Claire's victory. They ran a very competent race. TAR will forever and always be one of my favorite shows but I do miss things from the earlier seasons. Even before the Covid restrictions the challenges of the show had been watered down. I do hope they do away with the leaving in groups. If you arrive first at the mat you shouldn't be leaving at the same time as anyone unless they arrived on the mat seconds after you. I think that's been my biggest issue with things how they are now. Though I am thankful to have TAR back and that they managed to keep going after Covid. Great teams, great scenery, Phil.....
  15. I literally had to fast forward through all her scenes. She was so immature! Wouldn't you feel safe with her 'protecting' your streets? Besides the immaturity (and that she has a boyfriend and he just got dumped) girl really needs to learn not to sh*t where you work. It was bad enough when it was a peer like Nolan but didn't a female officer warn her at that time about dating another cop? Don't get me wrong I think Tim would be wrong too. Now that I think about it wasn't his ex a cop too or am I making that up? I get a lot of 'civilians' aren't going to want to date cops but at least find people from another precinct. Can you imagine getting pulled over by Lucy after she and Tim had a fight you'd be like "i'm sorry are you giving me a ticket or asking me to come over and braid your hair?".
  16. but she didn't lend it to Todd - she lent it to her mother who guilt tripped her and promised that she would be the one driving the car not Todd. So clearly neither the mother or Todd are to be trusted. If I was the sister I'd move to another town and change my number and maybe my name instead of letting those two constantly take advantage of me.
  17. I know it's completely unrealistic (but it is this show!) but I really hope it's Gigi. I am beyond over her and her one note cry baby self!
  18. Mark will do it before any of the other Sharks have had a chance to say anything not when there's only one Shark left and he's offering exactly what the person is asking for. I can't stand Mark but sadly I think a lot of the entrepreneurs come on here specifically for Mark. You can always tell when everyone else but Mark has spoken the they'll be like "is there anyone else? Have we heard from everyone?" while desperately staring in his direction. Robert's made a lot of offers where people go with someone else for one reason or another. I think that's why he was "now or never". Either way I don't think it's fair that they rush the people to go with the first deal on the table. I greatly miss Dragon's Den. It seemed like the Dragon's always encouraged the entrepreneurs to hear from everyone. I also don't remember them all talking over each other or making a bunch of comments about another offer when they've gone out (can't stand that!). On the college storage thing - I was really surprised that no one mentioned that that was a seasonal business. Or am i missing something? Also, if you're using current students to do the work aren't you always having to attract and retrain a new workforce? How much stuff are college kids bringing these days?
  19. and aren't at least 3 of them dancers of some type? I couldn't tell you their names or anything of distinction about the 3 couple pairs at this point other than "oh it's one of those ballroom/pitbull dancer/cheerleader couples" when I see them then I immediately forget they exist. Oh and the other two (I think both dating) each with a girl with long blonde hair. That's at least five couples that so far have made no impression on me whatsoever. I am loving the twins but every time I see them I can't help think of the twins that were on the race however long ago and I hear "Twining/Twinie!" screamed in my head.
  20. I don't think my blood pressure can take any more episodes of this. I spent the whole episode wanting to jump through the tv and punch Todd! His antics were not cute and I was totally team Lyle! I think we're supposed to be rooting for Todd but I was just rooting for him to fall off a cliff. I don't care that he was able to solve the case. That doesn't justify his behavior or anything else and if engaged girl is stupid enough to leave her fiancé for this giant man boy well then I guess she gets what she deserves. It is strange because this was not my reaction at all after the first episode but this 2nd one sent me round the bend.
  21. I like literally not one character on this show. There's not even a dog so I can like it. Are we sure there's only one more episode? I don't think I can manage more than that. As it is I hate myself every week for watching this even though at this point I'm fast forwarding through like 50% or more of the episode.
  22. She really needs to move on. Being with someone for 12 years off and on is just not good. Also, if a grown 30 something man is still not acting like an actual grown up he never will. Take your cute dog and be by yourself or with a friend or whoever just not this dude. That call that Rob got about how "well you gave us a budget of 1.5M and we've spent 2.8M (something close to that)" was unbelievable! Can you imagine having so much money that you can first have a budget of 1.5M to begin with then barely bat an eye when the budget went over by a million dollars! I like R&R and it seems like the town really needs this team but it seems like they're able to just buy everything they want. I can't think of anything or anyone that they wanted not coming to fruition once they threw money at it.
  23. That scene was so OTT I actually thought Bob was dreaming! Then it kept going and I'm like "wait, he's not going to wake up and gasp?". He needs a break for sure. Bad way to do it but it seems like in this family the only way to get anything for yourself is to bail like Christina did. Talking gets you nowhere as no one listens. Unfortunately, that includes Bob. Had he listened he would not have been surprised by Goodwin leaving. They all take everyone for granted. On a happier note - I really liked Abishola's yellow sweater and a lot of the outfits tonight! I adore Gloria and that was my favorite scene followed by poor Dele 'cheating' on his study partner :-)
  24. Okay, so Leni started the fire because she was jealous of Gina's relationship with Dylan and was planning on framing Dylan for it to get him out of town, etc. But did Leni know there was anyone in the church when she started the fire? Also, did they know the person that died in the fire? Is that person related to anyone or should we know who they were in some way? I'm disappointed - I came to this show solely for Matt Bomer and there hasn't been nearly enough of his pretty to counteract this horrid mess. I'm actually surprised he took this role. Like did it somehow not seem as stupid in script? Did things change along the way? I don't think he just needs the money as he's been in a lot of movies and tv shows the last several years.
  25. Not that I should be looking for logic in this series but ..... I don't understand (or wasn't paying attention) to how stealing the horse or whatever Gina was doing was going to get her and Dylan money. Seems like stealing the horse only made them owe money? I hate that the horse got shot. I did like knowing the grandma was in on it and was never actually hurt by the horse thieves. When Gina found the diaries in the safe I actually thought Leni put them there. I couldn't figure out why she would put not like either of them or sane so....
