I don’t think Katurah is normally scared of water and I wonder how much the letter from her mother really fucked her up. I wonder if she didn’t tell production she was no contact and they just thought obviously we’ll get a letter from mom. The folks I know who have gone NC have done it for good reasons and it’s extremely emotionally difficult, especially with society telling you you have to forgive family no matter what. I’m proud of Emily but I hope the non Reba folks figure out something because otherwise the rest of this season is borrrrring.

the ATK website updated so instead of episodes being available 2 weeks after it's on PBS now you get "one free episode a month" before it requires you to get an account. I never know when new episodes will show up on tv so I guess I will be super behind now.

This is one of those moments where actually following soccer is a plus because Zava is such an insane character and even more so when you realize they’ve kind of toned him down a bit from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the player he’s based on (like Roy is based on Roy Keane. When Zlatan signed with LA he literally took out a full page ad in the LA Times that said “you’re welcome” and then proceeded to score some insane goals in his first game. He’s a categorically absurd human being but in a wrestling heel kind of way. And bizarrely charismatic. When the psychic mentioned Rebecca becoming a mother I became extremely concerned for Sassy, so her showing up later in the episode made me hold my breath for a while. There’s no way that orange/red kit combo against man united would have been allowed.
