The episode from yesterday where oldest daughter Alex becomes Cowboy Josh's apprentice for the summer - Alex was pouring some kind of feed in a large pail and saying something about the feed containing antibiotics. Didn't catch the reason, but isn't that frowned upon these days?

In the episode from yesterday (I think), oldest daughter is getting summerlong cowboy lessons from Cowboy Josh, and as she was putting some kind of feed into a big pail, she mentioned that were antibiotics in the feed. Didn't catch the reason, though, so did anyone else catch that? I thought putting antibiotics in the feed was frowned upon these days.

How fun to see some of the names from the old days (waves at anneofcleves & FormerlyAmish)! I kinda miss the gleeful anticipation of a new episode and the rush to ThatOtherForum to nitpick it to death, even though she made it so easy. I'll have to borrow the book from SeventhHell/Rosie. I gave to her a few years ago and forgot to read it first :-/

No, these days she would take some already-cooked-pork and show us how to make a sandwich.
