  1. Agreed. And to resolve her arc, they don't necessarily need her to find the traditional happiness with a family, etc. It'd be good for her to not be so painfully alone in the end, and realize that she is someone that can be loved (and is enough) as she is, because now she clearly thinks that John only loves the idealized version of her, and would never love her true self.
  2. Well, it seems like their way to end the season (and possibly the show? who knows if this will get picked up for another season) is to get everyone some sort of happy ending (even poor John, who obviously wanted a family, and by the beginning of this season had made peace with the fact he's not getting the girl he'd been pining for), except for Sara, who is left with this "pain that won't go away". Cool. I realize that she is very happy professionally and is doing amazing things with the detective agency, but pointing out (incessantly) that she's basically Libby Hatch minus the homicidal tendencies and leaving it at that is kind of cruel.
