  1. True, but a Dr. of PT doesn't make very much at all. Zip Recruiter, Glass Door has DPTs making around 80K a year. And she doesn't work full time. The median home cost is 900K. Unless Miguel pulls in some major bucks, it seems unrealistic they could purchase the house they were shown. Edit: The house they looked at was sold for $1,3K. No way they were affording that unless one of them had their parents give them a pot of gold. https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/11015-Negley-Ave_San-Diego_CA_92131_M19625-89756
  2. Good point! Meanwhile he was probably laughing his ass off at the thought these two could afford that place.
  3. Of course Krysten's advice was "if she turns you down, you're going to have to keep fighting." Because we know Krysten doesn't take no for an answer. And the slightest crumb she does the Lloyd Christmas with Mitch "So you're telling me there's a chance." And why have a producer driven date with someone in San Diego when you're moving to NYC? And Mitch and Lindy just completely waste the realtor's time by seeing a house when they have no intention to buy yet? It was cute to see Binh and the linebacker having a nice time together as friends while she beat him up. Justin with the bad snatch reason for not getting it up and then Alexis response was hilarious.
  4. Stacia calling Mitch, "Bitch" was not cute, not funny, and why they let her get away with it, I don't know. If Mitch was calling her a derogatory name that rhymed with hers, I'm sure no one would've treated that as being cute. And somehow the person I liked the most became one of the people I liked the least. Krysten, fuck off with your "I'm a catch" and "I deserve better" when you were chasing that man after he said no. I'm also not sure I buy that Lindy is gaga over Miguel. I bet they split in about 6 months if they don't get a spinoff show.
  5. I think she thinks she's still in love with Mike now that she sees very few men that she thinks are worthy of her would put up with her for more than a few fucks.
  6. To me, this is another example of where the "experts" failed them. There's nothing wrong with Binh wanting a woman who is close with her family. I ask my daughter every time she dates someone whether they are close with their family. Of course, breaking away from a toxic family could be a sign of immense strength. But in my experience when I was young, every man I dated who was estranged from family had A LOT of issues. More than the ones I dated with a close family. Similarly, there's nothing wrong with someone not wanting a mama's boy either.
  7. Actually, I think it's the opposite -- she's incredibly insecure. Every person I know who does all that is the women that leaves doors open ajar for the man that never comes back. And of course even though he definitively said no, she said they were both so "confused."
  8. Ha ha, I should've said, I was watching stoned and their argument was hilariousQ
  9. Normally I'd agree, but with the amount of times she wanted it known that she's open to him in the future makes me think she was being serious.
  10. The last thing I'd want to do is have an ex watch my animal. I'm sure she had people she relied upon before to watch her dog. I never got the impression Mitch was that into her dog in the first place. This is all about being able to see him again under the pretext of watching her dog. I still find Lindy's voice to be horribly grating, but I think I started liking her personality more towards the end of the show.
  11. I completely agree. He was perfectly nice in the "no" decision. She's nodding in agreement b/c she deserves someone who wants her. But then after agreeing, the door's open to reconciliation. He's pretty clear that the door is open to friendship. What person walks out of the discussion with Dr. Pepper and Pastor Cal and thinks, "So you're telling me there's a chance?" That wasn't enough for the lightbulb moment, so she feels the need to mention it again with the couples? Unless that was producer driven, why mention the door being ajar again? Then the mob starts making Mitch sounds like the jerk so he's got to shut it down. How many times does he have to say I'm just not that into you? And that's not even enough for her. It took him getting angry in the kitchen before the lightbulb FINALLY came on. Except...she decides he should watch the dog while she goes camping. How did she do anything before Mitch? Does she not have someone reliable to watch the dog? Or is that just another attempt for her to keep the door open b/c she'll get to see Mitch at the drop off, then the pick up and he'll remember the "something's there" feeling that apparently only she had?
  12. Also, for my cannasisters, watching Alexis and Justin argue while stoned is super hilarious.
  13. I notice what Krysten does: She hears things said that are blunt, then repackages and restates it to sound nicer. All while head nodding. I've learned that most women that talk constantly about "deserving more" are the ones begging for the man who gives them less. Am I the only one that did a 180 on Lindy? I couldn't stand her up until she interrupted Miguel's me-me-me poem recital. Then I started kind of digging her; she can be fun and not in a put on way. I enjoyed her on DD too.
  14. Kysten gave him more chances to be cruel to her because she wouldn't let up with the "door ajar." At some point when someone hears "So you're telling me there's a chance" after being told in a kind way, they deserve the cruel-to-be-kind response. It took several before the lightbulb went on. I was in her corner most of this season, but she deserved to hear it in the cruelest way b/c she doesn't know when to backoff and take the hint.
  15. Krysten really doesn't know how to take a hint does she? I keep seeing Mitch getting throttled on reddit, but he told her in the nicest, most honest way she needs to have someone head over heels in love with her, and he's not that guy. Then she kept on and on with the door still ajar shit with the couples, he is brutally honest with her, but the lightbulb doesn't finally go on until the packing up scene? Now I'm starting to wonder if her ex-fiance broke it off with her much earlier but she still thought there was some wiggle room and left the door open up until the wedding day. He moved on and was actually dating, not cheating, and she kept the wedding venue and reception going in hopes he knew that door was still open for her! For all of her "I deserve more" shit, she sure can't let go. And why can't she get another dog watcher other than Mitch? It's like she wants him to watch the dog so she'll see him again.
  16. It's adorable! I hope she has a regular size one on order because it looked so odd where I regular fridge shoudl be!
  17. Why does Stacia not have a regular sized fridge? I would've thought a physical therapist would enjoy working out? Miguel makes everything so unfun. Lindy is annoying but at least she can have fun instead of the fun sucker she was paired with. Nate is super perceptive. I hope he uses that perceptiveness and is successful in business, life. I really hope that the giving-away-of-the-dog was just a producer ploy to begin with and that Justin really wasn't going to give away that dog for that narcissist.
  18. I hope Justin's dog stays with his buddy. Anyone that could so easily give up your dog over a stranger you barely know must not love their dog that much.
  19. I'm so with you on that. She irritates me, but I can't find one thing redeeming about that egomaniac.
  20. And OMG I'm at the poem scene. This is my favorite scene ever of Lindy! That self-important jackass. I would've been having a hard time not laughing in his face. Watching this scene stoned makes Lindy so redeeming.
  21. Doing the rewatch on a Friday night I am! And stoned so here are my thoughts: Goddamn Krysten was like This Krysten Goes to 11. I feel like she was embarrassed by her outburst and then is now trying to be lighthearted and fun. And she looks loonier than being upset that Mitch thinks she's got too much makeup on. Lindy, girl you annoy the shit at me, but RUN. You need someone who is likes to be twee and goofy with a supposed temper that no one wants to see! Miguel is a dud and not nearly as attractive as he thinks he is. Didn't that guy have the nerve to say something like this is why you haven't found a husband yet? And then Lindy pointed out the irony (loved her for that) given I hated her groveling. Mitch, damn it you make me like you. Alexis, I kind of love her as a reality TV villain. I love Nate calling out the bullshit. Stacia showing her fun side is nice to see. I like Justin.
  22. While I did feel sorry in Lindy, who annoys me the most out of this cast, in this episode, I can't help but wonder if Miguel wants to love her bc she's cute and seems sweet but is also as annoyed by her as some of us are. Maybe the photo was just an excuse to pretty much blow up on her? I also think she's made too big of a deal over "oh you don't want to see an outburst" that it puts Miguel on edge. I can't tell if she's proud of her outbursts, if she's scared that it will push people away so she's giving fair warning, or because she's just sooooo darling that having scary outbursts just makes her not like all the other girls! Whatever the case, the way she seems to talk about it a lot is weird. Miguel, however, is no prize. I can't find one thing that I find endearing, cute about him.
  23. Or them watching the scene itself. Or them talking to him off camera about Krysten's mom. There's a reason that the there was so much talk about Mitch and Krysten's mom. Because the vast majority of people watched and thought he seemed very attracted to Krysten's mom while not being attracted to Krysten.
  24. I'm confused how he thought a woman in a hot pink dress = bride. I mean, seemingly the lack of a wedding dress would be the tipoff. But the reason people are saying what they are about Mitch digging her mom is that he glowingly called her beautiful and seemed to be hitting on her (even his castmates joked that he was hitting on the mom). We're contrasting his reactions about mom to his comments about the actual bride and then his reveal to Krysten how he's not attracted to her.
  25. Bingo. Thanks for the rewatch b/c I thought for sure that it had already been discussed. That she said, "Don't tell anyone" which is essentially "don't tell anyone that I lied [on the application, or to the producers]" and then makes the entire season all about him "lying to her face" is truly galling. Please tell me Binh will get some balls and mention this in the reunion instead of continually accepting all blame when the reality is the stranger he married started off the season, the union, and possibly the friendships with a lie.
