  1. I'm an avid viewer of The Challenge and I must say I'm perplexed by this characterization. Did she go off the rails when she felt personally betrayed by Kaycee? Absolutely! I'm not justifying her outburst -- in fact, I've posted in the past that I feel Bay has issues with emotional regulation-- but let's not act like she is a rampaging menace who cannot be controlled. I understand her frustration in the fact that she seems to be defined by the one moment she lost her cool with Tyler. I mean, fan favorite Janelle got into people's faces calling them bitches and hoes on season 6, but we don't hold that against her. There does seem to be a double standard in how we judge Bayleigh versus how we judge some of the other houseguests.
  2. When Nene has beef with a white person, her go-to is to call them out as racist. Fuck her! One minute, she's cool with Kim, next minute Kim a racist, the minute after that they're cool again. She gives legitimacy to those who try and claim that black people constantly "play the race card." Just go away, Nene! You got too big for your britches and now you gotta go!
  3. Zendaya made history as the youngest best actress winner in a drama series. You go mama!
  4. Annie Murphy has to win best supporting actress now or that would be an awkward snub.
  5. From every article I've read, Schitt's Creek is definitely the favorite. The show deserves the accolades!
  6. Or she doesn't have anyone to jerk off this season. Ugh, I know that was mean but I can't stand that girl lol.
  7. I'm just happy when he's able to express a full thought. My god, I love you Danielle, but you sure can taaaaalk. I feel like she's constantly interrupting him, and worse, speaking over the featured guest!
  8. I'm surprised you have been the only one to call that out. I don't know about you guys but I'd feel uncomfortable sleeping next to the chick who was arrested for basically trying to commit vehicular manslaughter against her baby daddy's side piece. And let's not forget that she had a few of her own blow-ups in her original season as well. So to act like she's afraid of the two black girls and to try to paint them as "oh so menacing" is a fucking joke.
  9. Thanks for confirming. I mean, maybe not all hope it lost. I would rather Dani win over Nicole or Cody.
  10. I feel like Dani always wins endurance. Who's the BB historian that can confirm?
  11. Yeah, I decided to watch live tonight to see how Allison Grodner was going to shape the narrative.. as Rockstar would say, DIS-GUS-TING!! I love you guys but I don't know how long I can hang on with this shitshow!
  12. Has Christmas approached either Bay or Day to clear the air or have they been avoiding each other? I might actually tune in tomorrow for the live eviction, if only for their speeches lol.
  13. Literally someone on twitter said that Tyler stood with them but it is not fair to ask him to give up his stipend. Like WTF?! If your principles come with a price, they're not principles! Ugh..
  14. Honestly, I agree with Day that last night felt like a set-up. Christmas "To be expected".. yeah, that tells me all I need to know. Fuck you!
  15. And ,for the record, I posted on BB Reddit that Tyler is a despicable human being for exploiting the BLM movement for his own personal advancement in the game, and I have now been banned. Ah well, never liked them anyways :).
  16. And just to piggyback on this beautifully stated post, there was a convo early in the feeds where Bayleigh lamented to Janelle how frustrating it is that the houseguests constantly lump her and Day together. They deliberately avoided each other in "public spaces" to quell suspicions that they were working together and yet the houseguests still ran with it and decided that they were "Bay and Day." Nicole and Dani, for example, who are constantly together do not face that same problem. No disrespect, but I agree with Callaphera -- it is probably best to not opine on something when you don't have all the facts. White people have become uncomfortable with POC speaking out about their experiences and I don't get it. I had someone actually tell me that they miss the days when race wasn't such an issue. This problem has always existed but the difference is that now the disenfranchised finally have a platform to speak out and be heard! Instead of trying to blithely dismiss us, just listen!
  17. Why did they link up? Oh yeah, because they were perceived as a package deal the minute they walked into the house. Because they are two black females, the houseguests just automatically assumed that they were linked up, which is funny because they had no relationship outside of the house. Early on, Bayleigh pulled Day to the side and aired her grievances because she felt hurt that Day ignored her when Bay reached out. So, as sayings go, "perception is reality," they leaned into the prevailing belief that they were a duo because they had no other recourse. Yes this is a game but these are real people, with all the messy biases/history/baggage that comes with it. If you refuse to see how race could play a factor into this game, then I don't know what to tell you.
  18. When? They voted with the majority and ran back information to them the entire time. That is why I can't feel too much sympathy for them because if they had been willing to work with Jaysar and scoop up the other outliers to form an opposing faction, they could've stood a chance. However, they decided to play possum and this is where they're at. This is why this show sucks now.. everyone is too scared to stand up to the almighty power alliance in the house. Imagine if Kaysar had been afraid to go after Cappy or if Ian didn't turn on Frank and Boogie.. this show has become so predictable and safe. Yawn!
  19. Nah, sis, I think Endemol USA owns this show. Who wants to inundate them with letters to get rid of the Grod? lol
  20. Thanks Tyler but Day is staying anyway! I hate him lol.
  21. Lol I get it.. I'm from NYC too and I'm back. Maybe he grew up in Buckhead? I definitely don't feel like he grew up around sistas.
