Hasn't Porsha only sat out the past couple of seasons? I don't get why her return warrants a whole ass press release lol. I don't remember them ever doing that for a returning housewife, not even Bethenny back in the day. Maybe my ass is in the dark and she's a bigger star on the network than I thought. I just know I found her insufferable on the girls trip season she did. She's feeling herself way too much these days.

I may be in the minority but I've always enjoyed Kandi and don't find her boring. I especially feel that she brought a legitimacy to the franchise that cannot be replaced. One of my favorite Kandi moments is during that one reunion when Marlo was needling her about being a sugar mama and she retorts, "bitch if I wanted to pay for every single motherfucker up in here, I COOOOULD!!" (forgive me if I butchered the line but you get the point lol). I respect her hustle and the career she has had, and consequently, the fact that she had her own money and didn't have to rely on the Bravo teat to survive is what made her interesting to me. She didn't gratuitously stir the pot or concoct annoying, fake drama in a desperate attempt to ride the Bravo gravy train for as long as possible (looking at you Tamra, Giselle and Dorit).
I'll miss you Kandi yams.

· Bravo has officially announced the new series "The Valley," premiering Spring 2024, following a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships.

Great speech from Niecy. Glad she won.
Me too! Never saw her show on ABC but I'm kinda glad it was canceled because she's too good to be on a network procedural. Sorry, not sorry lol.

Yeah, it's a great gag concept but in execution it's rude and disruptive and not in keeping with the tone of an awards show, which is about affirming and lifting up excellence. Theoretically.
I agree. I don't like it. Some of these people may never be on an awards stage again. I hope they abandon this idea.

Rhea Seehorn is never going to have an Emmy for this role? Travesty!

Nice win for Ayo but why is she in supporting? Hasn't she been in lead at every other awards?
She switched to leading for season 2, which is what the other award shows were honoring. The Emmys are recognizing season 1 reeeally late because of the strikes lol.

Yaaas!! Emma Stone gave the performance of the year! People are trying to turn Lily Gladstone into Michelle Yeoh and it just doesn't fit!

I love The Bear but it's not a comedy.

OMG Ariana DeBose's face at that insult.

I haven't seen "Poor Things" but I thought Natalie's performance in "May December" was her best since "Black Swan." I really do hope she makes the final 5 at the Oscars. Can we erect an Andrea Riseborough campaign for her? LOL.

Ali Wong is with Bill Hader? I approve!

To me, even more egregious than casting her son was finding an Annie Wilkes-like superfan in Izzy. I follow a bunch of distant relatives on Facebook and I bet I wouldn't even recognize any one of them if I passed them on the street. Yet, somehow, this sycophant is able to immediately recognize the offspring of some d-list reality star.. stalker much? I know we're not allowed to discuss live feeds but let's just say Cirie couldn't even shower without her #1 fan being two feet away practically offering to loofah her back (can you use loofah as a verb? Ah well, I'ma do it anyway). The Fields family may want to look into a restraining order once the game is over because that woman is OBSESSED.
Add to that a mostly inept, uninteresting cast and this season is simply terrible. Say what you want about S19, and no doubt the rigging for Paul was just as flagrantly unfair in that case, but there were at least some memorable personalities in there. When our biggest villains are Jared and Cameron, you know this season is bland and boring!

Is Cirie that popular? I'm not a Survivor viewer but I did see her on The Traitors. What do you guys think of this casting twist?

He is supposedly either very close to signing a contract to have a spin off with other married VR couples (this idea didn't work years ago when the couples were living in Valley Village, were married and in long term relationships because it was a boring concept, but now only him is married, and Kristen sold her house in 2019, and broke up with her bf)
QuoteVanderpump Rules is experiencing a ratings resurgence — and getting a new spinoff as a result.
A spinoff of the hit Bravo reality series is in the works, according to our sister site Deadline, with former cast members Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute all said to be involved. The series “will follow a group of tight-knit friends, who are trading in their glamorous West Hollywood lives and swapping bottle service for baby bottles as they adapt to the next chapter of their fun-loving lifestyle in The Valley,” per the official description. -
I just had a thought -- I feel like CBS might push Big Brother into August so that it can cover the holes in the Fall schedule caused by the writer's strike. What do you guys think?
ETA: For reference, the pandemic season aired August 5 – October 28, 2020

Is ordering the alcohol and juice in separate cups a way that Marysol guarantees she's not purchasing a watered down drink? Pretty clever if it is but I'd probably be too chicken shit to do that.

For me, the bellwether, at least recently, has been Editing. If your film was nominated for Best Picture but not Best Editing, there's zero chance of it winning. I don't think there's been any film that has won BP that isn't even nominated for Editing. Not even when there were only five BP nominees.
CODA did it just last year, as did Birdman a few years ago.

Her birth given name is Jordan. Her middle initial is 'A' which is probably how she came up with Jordana and she also probably thought it made her sound more exotic.🙄

Just curious-- did Turner ever address the accusations made against him by his supposed sister on Twitter?

Michael/Brittany won veto.

This made me sad. On a happier note, I chuckled at Hannah's reply referring to Nicole as Bruno Neptune. Can we get her to snark with us?

That Palmona interview was a disaster. Blaming the editing despite the fact that there are live feeds and trying to ameliorate the mob mentality against Taylor by pointing out that all the shit talking was done behind her back instead of to her face.. I guess she wasn't appointed a CBS PR person since she voluntarily left the house. Girl, just shut up and hope one of the numbskulls do something worse in the next 2 months so that the heat is off you by the time finale rolls around.

Was there a new episode last night? Nothing has been added to peacock. This goes perfectly with my Saturday morning cup o' joe!
