  1. WHAT A STUPID QUESTION SARA ASKED DR. MURTHY! She asked where he stands for the future - hopeful or afraid? WTH do you think he's going to answer, Sara? "I'm afraid for the future and with these vaccines" ?
  2. I like when MegaNutz kept saying 'What? What?' trying to listen to something coming through her earpiece at the end. All I could imagine was the producer in the control room shouting 'Shut the hell up you crazy b*tch!' 😄😄😄
  3. Am I hearing right ? 'An all new Oprah DAILY edition of 'View Your Deal' ' ???? Are they saying 'DAILY' ? We have to watch Oprah's garage sale ever day now ????? I guess the first quarter sales for eye-readers, candles and skin care manufacturers were a bust, and now they're unloading their crap on VIEWers.
  4. And MegaNutz is off and running - she just sideswiped Sara !
  5. Meganutz actually looks nice today! No WalMart janky hair extensions, no extreme eye-shadow from Dollar General...she actually looks attractive today.
  6. The problem is they keep re-setting the return date from day one, which doesn't look good for the fate of the show. I heard that the date is now moved to April 15 (I believe Wendy Williams first announced this on her show the other day) from April 12. I still wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come back at all, and CBS puts this out of it's misery.
  7. Whatever incarnation of this show comes back on April 12, I'm sure CBS will be looking at the all-important 'May Sweeps' in the ratings, which begins two weeks later. If this show continues to limp along at the bottom of the ratings from April 12 - May 31, I think CBS will finally put this show out of it's misery by the summer, and bring in something better for September.
  8. Wendy Williams weighed in on this fiasco on yesterday's show. She said she was discussing it with "her friend" Kris Jenner over the weekend, and told Jenner to put her name in for the replacement host. Of course, Jenner supposedly responded 'she's too busy' right now to tackle another project, but Williams tried to talk her into it - so I have a feeling Williams knows a bit more than what is going on and is hinting at something. On the other hand, Williams also sounded very doubtful if this show will last or come back at all.
  9. A year ago, we were all running amok trying to get hard-to-find toilet paper and COVID tests. Now we're running amok trying to get vaccinated with a scarcity of vaccines. Wonder what next March will bring for us ? LOL! Hopefully we will be running amok trying to book crowded hotels, sold out theater tickets, sold out airline tickets...things will be back to somewhat normal.
  10. WOW! Two gorgeous litigants in one case. I'd love to follow their bouncing balls, or be the towel boy in their locker room... Anyhow, this case was actually from 2012, as the police report was dated the end of January, 2012 - so this was 9 years ago. I did a Google search on these two, and sure enough they've grown into fine sexy men today. Plaintiff is a lawyer today (you could tell he was an aspiring lawyer as the plaintiff the way he presented his case) and the defendant looks to be a rap artist from what I can tell. Two handsome guys - why in the world did they keep this one in the can for so long ??????? Nine years ???? As much as I wanted to be interested in this case, I was totally distracted by the lipstick all over the front left tooth of Malveaux. No one checked her before she went on camera ? Byrd didn't say to her 'ya gotta little lipstick on your tooth' ?
  11. I have many friends who are Lebanese, who's parents and grandparents were immigrants from Lebanon. They never have considered themselves people of color. Same with my friends who are Armenian and Syrian - never consider themselves 'people of color'. I have never ever heard Pirro call herself ' a person of color', either. Where in the world did this come from ?
  12. As expected, Pirro responded to Joy Behar's attack on her from this past Thursday, on Pirro's FOX show last night.
  13. It sill does. That's why when Joy said it's a 'special weekend', it's not only a special weekend for Jews who celebrate Passover on Saturday, but a special weekend for Christians who celebrate Palm Sunday on Sunday of this same weekend and begin the observance of Holy Week. As I said earlier, Sunny and Ana have called themselves 'devout Catholics' on the show in the past, and Sara identifies as a 'Christian' on the show...perhaps they should have reminded Joy for those of us celebrating Palm Sunday and observing Holy Week ? We may know when Easter is because of the TV ads, but the ads don't remind us that the Sunday before Easter (know as Palm Sunday) begins Holy Week on the Christian calendar.
  14. It's an important week for both Jews and Christians - Joy should have acknowledged both. The audience is made up of both (and other different religions), Behar should be conscious of this (IMO).
  15. I couldn't help but notice that Joy ended the show with 'Does anyone know what's special about this weekend? It's the start of Passover! Happy Passover everyone!' It was a nice gesture to all those who are celebrating the Jewish holiday. However, for those Christians - including self-described devout Catholics Sunny and Ana - this weekend is special because it begins Holy Week, the most sacred week in the Christian calendar. Joy mentioned nothing of this, which was certainly a big slap in the face to both Sara and Anna (and Meghan and Sara, who are also Christians). I can't believe not one of those hosts interrupted her and added this to her sign-off.
  16. Back in 2008-09, when CBS first decided to do a 'copycat' version of 'The View', there was a pilot cast with Paula Dean, Valerie Bertinelli, Kate Gosselin, and (I believe) a LA-based CBS journalist. The show tested poorly with it's target audience, as they tried it for a few months across the country. They switched around some hosts (I think the journalists was dropped first, then Gosselin) but kept Dean and Bertinelli and added a few more D-List names. They were really trying to make it work, but it kept failing with audiences since there was no chemistry among the hosts. Next thing you know, the project was dropped and Sara Gilbert went to CBS with this 'great idea' to do 'The Talk' and said she wouldn't do it unless Les Moonves' wife Julie Chen was moderator (sure, that sounds good in press releases). So Moonves axed the original Paula Dean copy-cat and went with Gilbert's.
  17. The latest tabloid reports say Osbourne wants 'tens of millions of dollars' from CBS to leave the show. I still think CBS cancels this and saves themselves 'tens of millions' and more. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9387203/Sharon-Osbourne-reportedly-demands-tens-millions-leave-Talk.html
  18. I wonder how Pirro will respond to Joy this weekend ?
  19. I'm sure Whoopi would reach an agreement with these producers to be a part of their projects which she praises on 'The View'. I'm sure she would come to an agreement with 'the amazing' Robin Roberts, 'the amazing Wendy Williams' and of course, 'the amazing Eddie Murphy' (among others) to be a part of their movie projects. Many award winning actors have worked for 'less than their asking price' later in their careers to be part of a project they believe in, or work with a production team they really admire. Something tells me she would have jumped at the chance to be part of 'Coming 2 America' with the amazing Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall. Too bad they forgot about her.
  20. I was hoping one of the hosts (maybe Sara, since she comes across as naive) would ask Robin Roberts why she has never cast EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg in one of her projects ? I'm sure as producer she could've given a role to Whoopi in the new film 'Mahalia', and worked out something with her schedule ? So far in the past month, they have promoted the (awful) 'Wendy Williams' movie, the 'Aretha' mini-series, and now 'Mahalia'. None of these producers wanted Whoopi for any of them ?
  21. And Meganutz was off to the races again, breathlessly ranting about herself trending on Twitter and the abuse she has taken over the years because she's the only conservative voice in mainstream media (I guess the FOX network doesn't count in her world). Her segment ends and a disinterested Whoopi says, 'Okay...' and turns the attention to Joy. Again, I love Whoopi ! Of course, the irony in all this is that Meganutz - who shows us very day she's dying to be center of attention from the way she appears on camera to the controversial comments she makes in public - pretends she doesn't follow or appreciate the attention she gets on social media ?
  22. Meganutz just went on one of her breathless rants, trying to make 'talking points', and after she's done, Whoopi responds with 'Cool'. Then turns the attention to Sunny. Yep, once again, I'm reminded why I like Whoopi as a moderator.
  23. Most schools offer bare minimum in financial aid or scholarships, enough to make them look appealing in their promotions to applicants. As we're reminded every year at our financial review in June (our fiscal year starts July 1), "Private education is a business. It's not a charity." Schools need more revenue taken in then going out in financial aid packages and scholarships, and that revenue comes from tuition. If an applicant's ability to pay didn't matter (and it was only based on GPA, SATs, and athletic skills) the schools would not be asking for financials from the student as well as the family. As it's pointed out to us every year (and again, I work at a very prestigious private school, not an Ivy League, but this is a guideline for acceptance across the board *) : 1. Those who can pay out of pocket, in full, get accepted first. Period. 2. Those who can pay with a student loan get accepted next. 3. All others get accepted last. Sunny can continue to brag about her son getting into Harvard all she wants, but it would be much better if she was more honest and told everyone how his tuition is being paid. I'm betting my last dollar it's out-of-pocket. *This is for private schools, so please keep in mind city and state colleges and universities have different acceptance policies when it comes to finances.
  24. Exactly. And if Gabriel did not score in the top 1-2%, then he needed $$$$ to back him up. If Gabriel had parents who's net income totaled less than $100,00 (for starters) he wouldn't be going to Harvard with his 4.0 GPA and his athletic abilities, no matter how he scored in the SATs. He wouldn't be going to the university I work at, either.
  25. Bottom line in Ivy League Universities is $$$. Again, if Gabriel had all these credentials and no money from his family to back it up, he wouldn't be darkening the doorway at Harvard in the fall. It has happened to many outstanding students who couldn't get into an Ivy League because of money, and those who should not have gotten in did because of money (Kushner). I believe once Gabriel starts attending classes, a nice revenue stream will flow to Harvard from Sunny and Manny. And it will continue long after he graduates in four years. (Dislaimer: I work in a prestigious university (not Ivy League) for the past 6.5 years, and have learned all about how students get admitted. Family finances speaks the loudest on an application. It also speaks the loudest when a student is failing, or being threatened with expulsion from the school. You wouldn't believe how 'money' makes everything go away). A generous amount of Botox.
