Just realized I miss the big, painted backdrops. This week I prefer the 2 furnace pieces over the 2 ghosts. Black and white palettes weren't doing it for me. Not sure what they were going for with the sugar stand. It's a cool technique but didn't go with the rest of the character.

The actor playing Riley showed a lot of range last night. The manic energy of doing the repo job with too little sleep. Being playful with Hazel and Freddie. The anger when he felt his family was ganging up on him. And then looking drained of emotion at the last therapy session. Best part was the quick smile when the therapist said they would just do pushups. "What is this, the Coast Guard?" Lol.

I thought it was very telling that George and Mary didn't have any scenes together.

I was coming on here to ask who was dressing Aarti. All of these outfits have been horrible, doing her no favors. She looks good on the other shows that she's on. The rising Frankenstein was a lock to win once it moved successfully. The bride's face was gorgeous. Igor was a nice thought.

But I think Lenny should've been the one to go home since he didn't have any jack o lantern elements in his piece. Funny how the intro says these are the best carvers and half of them said they'd never competed before. The guy who uses power tools did very nice work. He and the woman who did the undersea cave were the only ones to incorporate color and I really enjoyed them.

When the bad guy was needling Gibbs about blowing up the boat, I wish Gibbs had said he could always build another one.
