  1. I was also going to comment on the lack of Keith Mars! He's by far my favorite TV dad ever.
  2. I would sell the first-born child I'm never actually going to have to see Noble and Mikkelsen going one-on-one in an episode of Hannibal. That would be amazing. JOHN NOBLE FOR ALL THE THINGS.
  3. First off: the premise of this is definitely absurd - actors are people with families first, and should be able to have kids when they so choose. That said, the pregnancies I immediately thought of that you guys didn't already touch on were How I Met Your Mother and Bones. I forget what season it was that both Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders were pregnant, but I've never seen so many enormous handbags in one place. And Bones definitely accelerated Bones and Booth finally getting together (skipping some of the fun stuff, some might argue) by writing in Emily Deschanel's pregnancy.
  4. Oh my god, I'd never thought about Polk and Mahon as being vaguely inspiration for Scully and Hitchcock but you are SO RIGHT. And Mike Schur is a huge fan of The Wire, too.
  5. Thrilled to see this marathon diary! I just finished (well, almost - I just have the series finale left) watching the show over the holidays, I'll be curious to see another newbie's take on things.
  6. Loved the season finale, between Jared harassing the people on the street in his sleep-deprived attempts to "pivot" and the hilarious jacking-off whiteboard discussion, it was maybe the funniest episode of the season. I wasn't sure how I wanted the show to handle Peter Gregory - Welch brought such a unique energy to that role that's going to be hard to replace. But I'm a little bit in love with the idea of Poehler or Janney now. Would be easier to distance from the Gregory character if they didn't just bring in another generic-looking white dude, too.
