  1. One thing that annoyed me is that I couldn’t make sense of the ages/grades of most of the boys. So you have Will who is 25–easy Cody and Danny are fraternal twins who are Juniors Alex is a freshman, and Nathan is…? I’m guessing the mom is supposed to have had 4 children extremely close together? It all seems like they share the same friend group at school, including the adopted nephews who I’m assuming are twins and in the same grade as Alex/Jackie I have a feeling this will definitely get renewed for another season. I kind of hope they drop the love triangle schtick because it’s so obvious that Cole/Jackie have mutual chemistry. Jackie/Alex seems very one sided and the Alex character just comes off as pathetic. He’s better off with the friend who is pining after him! Overall I thought this was a very cozy show. It reminded me a bit of the earlier seasons of The Fosters. I actually enjoyed some of the subplots with the other siblings, so I hope we get to see more focus on them, and not the guidance counselor and English teacher.
  2. So now that we know Grace isn’t as innocent as she portrays herself to be, I wonder what her goal with Obie is? Maybe to piss off her mom? Davis being the real owner of the Lott apartment is going to get messy. Just realized— the protestor spitting on Grace’s mom before they enter the museum is the same guy Grace is making out with at the end!
  3. For dinner they served pizza and wings with 2 liters of soft drinks on the table, and they also served cheap alcohol with the price still on it. The drinks were served in red solo cups and the son asks his parents why they aren’t drinking out of the regular glasses. They were supposed to eat at some fancy and exclusive restaurant (which Nick knew about) but Shan had them change plans so Nick wouldn’t think his daughter was hanging around entitled rich people Iris was offering Max’s father an opportunity to landscape design an important park
  4. I’m not saying Agatha is innocent, it was made pretty apparent that she’s been living so long because she’s killed other witches, but I think being forced to give up your agency/body autonomy isn’t really fair in any situation. Especially since the last episode was basically saying “torturing and mind controlling people is wrong”
  5. I definitely think that there were clues of Wanda’s villain turn in WandaVision. She may not have known the extent of the pain she was causing, but she DID know she was keeping people in the hex, and knew it was wrong which is why she put all of the children in the town into a deep sleep. At the end of the show, she drains Agatha of her abilities (valid) but then traps her mind; even after hearing the other townspeople say it made them want to die (not valid). She also ran off with the Darkhold, which she knew was the Book of the Damned. To me this was a writing issue with the show refusing to take a greater perspective on Wanda’s actions. I’m an avid comic book reader, Wanda being my favorite in the comics, and to me it seems the MCU wants to make Wanda their Jean Grey in everything but name, right down to the powers, uniform and the red hair. Wanda in the comics is an earthy, bohemian, sensitive Romani woman and this doesn’t really play in the movies…
  6. I remember Jessa being quite stylish and put together before and a little after she married Ben... I think she’s actually pretty low maintenance appearance wise but I think Jana and Jinger could give her some help
  7. Justin and Claire spend Christmas with the Duggars. https://www.instagram.com/justinsamduggar/p/CX7RAfNM7sJ/?utm_medium=copy_link
  8. Seewalds at church https://www.instagram.com/p/CX46yyfrIba/?utm_medium=copy_link
  9. I predict a “big happy family” moment coming up soon since she’s losing the popularity contest amongst the married sisters. She didn’t seem to happy about the reaction to her last video
  10. I think she really enjoys doing the reels https://www.instagram.com/reel/CX3pImGFpAI/?utm_medium=copy_link
  11. Jana, Laura, Jason, James, Jed, and Katey went to Silver Dollar City. I think this is Jana’s first public outing since her big news broke https://www.instagram.com/reel/CXz67sAh9iK/?utm_medium=copy_link
  12. They reshared the info several times in detail, which included file names and descriptions from the articles I read. No one except the jury could see images I believe. They said Joy was visibly upset. But yes, she did miss the first day.
  13. Yes, she was. I’m not going to link to articles because unfortunately all of the articles go into detail, but they said Joy was emotional and being comforted by Austin. The NWA reporter said the same thing in the Duggar subreddit.
  14. I’ve noticed they’ve had a very fun week with the kids: Topgolf one day, gingerbread houses the next, Christmas movie with a special dinner out with ice cream after, and then Christmas festival. I know Austin and Joy were both at the trial everyday and were the only family members aside from Derrick and Anna to listen to the graphic descriptions plus Bobye’s testimony which is just life changing I’m sure. It seems they are holding their kids tight and making memories which is nice to see.
  15. I’m guessing they are in Pennsylvania to spend the holidays with Jeremy’s parents. Looks like she had a good day
  16. Joy and Austin took the kids to more Christmas activities https://www.instagram.com/p/CXytS4Jrypq/?utm_medium=copy_link Joy is also doing “relatable” mom skits on Instagram like her friend Carlin Bates https://www.instagram.com/reel/CXyyGtUpntn/?utm_medium=copy_link
  17. The one she posted about the paparazzi makes me think they are probably talking about all the current drama within Spurgeon’s earshot
  18. Ok, still bad and irresponsible, but I was thinking they were going off on some anti vax “COVID is a conspiracy” rant Yes, I know the bar is low for these people...
  19. The Duggar Dash was a scavenger hunt that split the family in teams where they had to compete to find the last clue. Jessa’s Team won. Because it was a competitive environment, you could finally see real personality for once Jana’s buddy team: Jana, Josiah, Jason, Jackson, and Josie Jill’s buddy team (sans Jill): Austin, Joy, James, Jennifer, and Tyler (the team that seemed the most fun) Jessa’s buddy team: Jessa, Ben, Jeremiah, Justin, and Jordyn (most competitive team) The Poor Souls Stuck with Jim Bob: Jim Bob, Joe, Kendra, and Johannah (thank god they put Jim Bob, who was yukking it up and slowing his team down in order to appear funny to the cameras on the same team as sweet Joe and Kendra because I feel like any other team would have left him on the side of the road)
  20. It was a baby food challenge on the Freedomist channel, which I believe is Austin’s friend. So it’s probably a bit different than a big TLC production controlled by Jim Bob
  21. On the subreddit, someone did a verified AMA a few years ago and said that they loved Austin and that he was incredibly funny, and that they thought he just didn’t like the cameras which is why he came across as so stiff. I think that’s probably true, because I remember him being really fun and genuinely funny during the Duggar Dash episode of Counting On. I was especially (pleasantly) surprised at how much of an effort he made to include Tyler and how kind was he was to him.
  22. I know the M’s usually spend it in Florida with the Kellers, although last year they spent in TTH. I hope this will be a good Christmas for them, all things considered.
  23. Oh wow, what’s going on there? Isn’t Pa Caldwell their pastor? Usually they spend Thanksgiving AND Christmas with the Duggars. Well, I guess the Forsyths could be splitting Christmas between the families. They had a bunch of presents under their tree which made me think it was with Austin’s family. Usually the Duggars do a gift exchange where each person exchanges 2-3 gifts with one other person, and then JB and Michelle contribute a gift bag to each kid and grandkid
