  1. Well, that's 2 hours I can't get back. At this point. I am hoping that Jamie takes Beth, out! After, the latest election drama we have survived, I don't want to see the same sh%$ for 2 hours, on, essentially a horse opera. Definitely, not worth the wait!
  2. Here in PA, we just recently, because of the pandemic, were allowed to request an absentee ballot, previously,it was mainly because of illness, military service, traveling, etc. We are allowed to mail our ballots in, but, during the pandemic, mail service, was, sketchy, at best. But, this year, I mailed mine back, and received an email from the election bureau, that my ballot had been received, it took a little over a week. In our town, we do not have drop boxes, but, you can drop your ballot off at the Courthouse, OR, bring it, in person, to your polling place on Election Day, on addition to mailing it. Hope the helps. I understand every state may be different.
  3. He was interviewed by Diane Sawyer on ABC, and he stated that he has been playing a lot of pickleball, lately, hence the tan. I wish he would shave and "ungrease" his hair. He would definitely look better, IMHO. I hope that he continues to do well, and heal.
  4. JMHO, Anthony Anderson added nothing to the show, and i, for one won't miss him. I am really enjoying Jeffrey Donovan in his role, especially after some personal info, from the last episode. I have watched EVERY Law and Order, 40 times over, because, nothing now, is as good as those episodes. I do have my favorites, of course, Lenny, Claire, Jack, Mike, "Lou", Adam Schiff, Skoda, but, then, I have always accepted every newbie. These new shows are getting better.
  5. As to the movie...did anyone else get the impression that J was strangling Janine, at the end, when he embraced her, and her arms, fell, slack?
  6. I completely agree with you about the difference between the movie and the TV series. Movie Pope was a horrible, horrible person, and Janine was no where near as bad as tv Smurf. J didn't go into that family with the same plan as tv J. Also, it seemed to me that J may have been strangling Janine, in the last scene to the movie, she was hugging him, and her arms started to fall. Maybe, I just read too much into it. Also, Am I right, that Deran is the only Cody that never committed a murder?
  7. As to your spoiler from the movie, yes, but, that Pope was a really bad man, and J was not as bad as this J. Pope now, has always been victim byan absolute horror of a mother, and young Smurf almost makes me gag, she is so vile. ,
  8. I liked this episode...and in my mine, I have set up a scenario, will see how it plays out. There was a lot in this week show, just like This Is Us, jammed so much in the last few episodes, I hope that doesn't happy to Animal Kingdom. I was happy to see Pope, come alive after the "visit" from Baz. Only two more episodes, so hang on, folks. I want to see one more CODY ADVENTURE, before it ends.
  9. Oh, I don't get that vibe, at all, To me, they have reached a point where they can kid each other, and we can get a glimpse of Ana being "haha" funny. I think they are friends off the show.
  10. Just NO to Lindsay Granger. She is not well prepared, and has been caught in several mistakes. And. she talks so fast it is hard to follow what she is saying. PLEASE, just chose Tara and "get off the Pot". It is also a great idea to use Ana on Monday and Friday or Thursday' and Friday.
  11. I read that John Fetterman paid Snookie $300.00 for that ad. I'd say, that was $300.00, well spent, John. Kudos!
  12. Before retirement, I worked in an orthodontic office that employed 25 plus women, and 2-3 dentists. It was a special place to work with many perks, and lunches and dinners at the Country Club. We ALWAYS would make special dietary accommodations for anyone that had a problem, I thought that was great.
  13. This is just what I saw on Google News, according to the New York Post, they have whittled it down to Farrah and Tara. They also say that they would possible announce around August 5, before their break. Thoughts??? I vote Tara.
  14. I don't know about you...but. Craig dressed in a suit and his hair in a man bun...WOW! He cleans up nice!
  15. Viola Davis...I can't even watch her. However, realizing that some poetic license has been taken, I have new respect for Eleanor Roosevelt, whom I have always found interesting, and Betty Ford. My late uncle, who loved to take home movies, had movies of Eleanor Roosevelt, driving a car to give a speech at a college, not sure which college, but, it is pretty cool to watch.
  16. Please don’t take this the wrong way, because I really like her…but, what is up with Sunny’s hair?? As a former hairdresser, I recommend a hot oil treatment and a trim.
  17. Can we just, please, pick Tara, and be over with it? !. She is a Conservative Republican 2. She has a brain, and has worked in Government. 3. She is not afraid to speak up. 4. She loathes Trump 5. The audience seems to like her. 6. She isn't Farrah or Stephanie!
  18. Okay..I was just waiting for someone else to post their disappointment with tonights episode. I found myself FF'ing throughout. In all of TV LAND, there have only been 2 final episodes that are worthy. Number 1. Six Feet Under...Number 2. A Place to Call Home (an Australian series). They went there, showing what became of the cast, way into the future, and beyond. Did Kevin even have any dialogue, tonight? Randall, well..., and why even bother with all of the episodes of Kate and Toby's breakup, and their eventual marriages, just to have a "love fest" tonight. They wasted at least 3 weeks with them, and poor Miguel, got one week. What are Tess and Ann doing in the future? It would have been nice to know, that. As for the last scene with Jack and Rebecca, having lost my husband, I did like the banter. But, then again, maybe because of what happened in Texas today, I really wasn't in a receptive mood, tonight.
  19. My sentiments, also. As I live very close to Pittsburgh, and the city is loaded with excellent hospitals, one, practically, on every block in the Oakland area of the city. And, if it were one of the big 2 hospitals, they would have been overrun with residents, and interns. Also, very early on in the series, I found a couple of glaring mistakes that only someone from PA would catch. One was when Rebecca went to a convenience store to buy beer before watching a Steeler game, realistically, beer wasn't able to be purchased anywhere other than a beer distributor, which were always closed on Sundays, as were our State Stores, until 2007, Sheetz, being the first. PA has always had antiquated liquor laws. So that timeline would have been way off.
  20. I was either 6 or 7 when I was listening to the radio when his plane went missing. I didn't quite understand what was going on but my mother filled in the details. Then they talked about it on the news. Very eerie and sad I live 25 miles north of Pittsburgh, saw him at Forbes Field, (I am THAT old,LOL), 3 Rivers, and was fortunate enough to see him in the '71 World Series. I still remember that New Years Day when we heard the news, we were devastated. Of course I have been to PNC Park, and know that stats about the wall and have seen the statue. As an aside, Bob Friend was in my Physical Therapy class, we had knee replacements the same day at a Pittsburgh hospital, back in 2006. Boy, was I excited!
  21. I am the person that wrote about seeing Clemente play at Forbes Field. My boyfriend at the time would take me, and taught me how to score a game, and I was the biggest Roberto Clemente fan. And, it was well known about the way the press treated him. Clemente was called a hypochondriac, because of his many ailments, and the chant was "Arriba, Arriba" when he came up to bat. But,the fans loved him. An excellent TV documentary is The American Experience, Roberto Clemente on PBS, and an excellent book is Roberto Clemente by David Maraniss. Sorry, to go on, but, seeing it tie into Miguel's story, really hit a nerve.
  22. Being a Roberto Clemente fan, who saw many of his games at Forbes Field and 3 Rivers Stadium, including a World Series Game, I too, saw that glaring error! he will ALWAYS be No. 21!
  23. My sister is going through that now, and, it is not as tidy as Rebecca's journey. In just 6 short months, she went from confusion, but, interaction and speech, to mournful grunts and groans, and vacant stares. We call it hell on earth. So, when I watch this, I wish that my sister had this form of Alzheimer's. It is not pretty, folks. Of course, I realize, all cases are different.
