  1. Observing Sandovals' deficient levels of self-awareness, maturity, responsibility, concern for anyone other than himself - his feelings, his "needs" (needs that include needing a paid "assistant" to pick up his dirty undies and sox from wherever he's tossed them & launder them🙄) and his near pathological attempts to place blame for anything he does on anyone other than himself (ex: he eavesdrops on Ann telling Ariana she'd prefer working for her. This pisses him off & next opportunity he has he insinuates that Ann may be responsible for Mya being shut in Arianas room. Spoken like a true slime ball Sandy-o. The only logical conclusion to be drawn from these observations is that .Sandoval is a desiccated turd in the litter box of his life.
  2. Like mindthinker I too noticed the odd match in Kyle's Smokey Bearish chapeau. My thoughts were perhaps it was merely an off- beat style wink by the designer. But then it occurred to me that maybe Kyle added it herself in an attempt at humour. But she's never shown propensity for that sort of subtlety. Then I had a flash that in light of the crumbling chaos her life seems to be becoming maybe she was indicating an intention to set herself afire!! Nah..we're not that lucky.....😎 /s
  3. Erin reminds me of an exhausting friend who was in my life way back in the mists of time that was my youth. Hypersensitive to everyone's behaviour, incredibly easily offended, took every joke personally, made an art form of huffing exits & plotted revenge for every imagined slight. I endured her for 10 yrs. Then didn't see her for 20. Turns out she was majorly addicted to pills of all kinds but mainly opiates. She was married to a very wealthy man and kept up appearances in all respects except in the personality dept . She did 5 stints in rehab, divorced and endured some horrible tragedies. And is a completely different person who now has a sense of humour, lets things slide, shines with kindness & has been my best friend for the last 10 years. So perhaps Erin is dealing w some un-obvious psychological or chemical burdens that make her behave like my friends earlier iteration. Benefit of the doubt & all. Or she could just be humourless, petty, stunted, overly self important, & inherently unpleasant. 😁
  4. On the subject of vow renewals. I asked my kid & hubby (who've been married for 26 years) what they thought about a vow renewal & the response was" What for? Do the first ones expire? "
  5. I think the Adams were very considerate to allow Lurch the time off to procreate and care for his daughter.😁 Now if someone could instruct her not to take offense so easily... I think Jessel was confusing "socially inept" with "socially adept". Much like my confusion over whether she's obtuse, pathetic, or just infuriating.
  6. Yes Ma'am! 😊 Human nature is always peering over that fence. Magazines & general media are always full of pics of women shown in casual perfection implying no effort spent on appearance. Young girls miss that behind the pics are teams of pros and hours of prep. Most finally give up trying to achieve this on our own, thank Heaven! I admire your proficiency w brush & dryer. I have only a wide tooth comb (since I eschew dreads) and haven't owned a dryer since my second husband took it with him....😁 I'm also extremely curious about Jenna's hair. Is it permanently implanted,?A science fiction level wig? Is it heat & swim proof? Synthetic or human strands?Does it ever come off? She's my favorite (along w Erin) & I have many questions.
  7. Ok folks I gotta speak up in defense of Brynn's "unreal" hair! My hair was called unreal my whole life (when I was 17 the new adult neighbors started telling people it was a wig!!). Every hairdresser I ever went to even as a kid immediately approached me with the thinning shears (which while leaving a pile of hair on the floor didn't make an appreciable difference). My hair is dark red gold and wavy curly-- looked a lot like Brynns' in the scene at the beauty shop when she had it wet. And I spent the entire 1960s "reverse perming", ironing, wearing soup cans as rollers and cursing my mirror, nature, and my ancestors because i didnt have the stick straight long hair everyone needed to look acceptable among peers in those days. My hair caused me a lot of angst back then and kids did make fun of it. Thankfully I grew up and out of that phase and finally accepted my hair and celebrated it for the entirety of my adult life. However, life being what it is, my wish for less hair in youth was simply delayed not denied. Once I hit my 60s my hair began thinning -as tends to happen to many women. I admit I panicked the first time I realized I could see my scalp! Now that I'm closer to my 80s than my 60s I count myself lucky because while I'm no longer accused of wig wearing I still have a full looking head of hair that I don't need to fuss with at all - just wash and let it do its thing. So I completely reject any theory that Brynn has anything but her own God given enormous pile of hair that she's suffered with and learned to deal with and appreciate. And fear not she won't have it forever and might turn to supplementation in her late 70s or she might just cut it shorter and feel relieved.
  8. When was LaLa not insufferable? Please post a link to the episode - I want to see that.
  9. So in today's Washington Post there is an opinion piece entitled " Hey Bravo! Get The Housewife Criminals Off My Tv!" Kinda stunning to see Ericka & the Jen Shah person (don't watch that show) brought up in the paper most famous for covering political criminals. Andy must be thrilled with the prestige...
  10. As I recall she said only one of James & Margaret's sons would survive to see his children grown. She didn't say which one. And the implication is not that he died w/o children only that he died before they were adults (or mostly grown up) Wonder how hard it was to convince Elsa to give up a few moments of riding the sunrise plains with Sam in order to provide narration...🤔 Surely there was someone around to inform Isabel May to stop with straining her voice into an unnatural sounding register ? Also that the accent is uneven to the point she sometimes sounds as tho' she momentarily forgot she was trying for some type of southern . Guess ol' Taylor & gang just figgered she's so purty it jes plain don't matter how she sounds 🙊💘
  11. I love and adore (and ceaselessly covet!) the wonderful fabrics and style of classy fancy dresses of the era. I'd be thrilled if the ceaseless shilling of the endless works of Mr. Sheridan were to be replaced by scene after scene of sumptuous period fashions. Then back to the story.
  12. Cara has an Irish accent because she is from Ireland-as in born and raised. Jacob doesn't because he's from America- as in born and raised. Amazingly enough they somehow met and married. Boggles the imagination, eh? 😉😁Helen Mirren gave an interview (apologies for my inability to provide the link) where she said the accent was of paramount importance to her due to her vision of the characters backstory. Her acting process entails embracing the character as a person, creating in her imagination the facets of personality that the persons life would have given them She stated that she knew the "Irishness" that was deep center for Cara and wanted to especially get the accent correctly for the part of Ireland Cara was from. No stretch that the ranch looks like its current iteration. My family home was built in 1893 & while there have been alterations and additions over the years its completely recognizable as the original structure. I've seen a picture or 2 showing the Dutton main lodge in stages of construction & figured it would be shown being built over the years in flashbacks. The barn and bunkhouse are a different style than is shown in current times so I imagine that over the years they needed to be rebuilt for some reason. Jacob and Cara have been there at least 30 years- time enough to get the house built. 😊
  13. I finally managed to overcome my nausea enough to watch all 3 episodes back to back (the headache is mostly gone tho' I confess to being more heavily medicated than usual 🤕) . x Thoughts: Dorit's "look" was the most garbaged up I can remember seeing her. The sage advice to look in the mirror right before you leave and remove one thing missed her altogether--likely deflected by the ton of mess in her hair. And she could've removed 8 items without it being noticeable. Kyle. Her dress was ill-fitting and certainly looked uncomfortable . I expected those earrings to draw blood at any moment (she was possibly wearing them as potentially defensive weapons should she need to fight her way out at the conclusion of the show). Why do dark brunettes feel the need to go blonde? It always looks a bit off because the natural coloring of their skin isn't a match. But maybe Kyle thought she was hiding in plain sight...( the impulse to hide being completely understandable). Ericka. Intense situations, high - stress, emergencies bring out someone's true nature either base or noble, sacrificing or running over everyone to save oneself. Erickas' fundamental nature showed up glaringly-- hard, crude, nasty, thoroughly low-class, backroom truck stop stripper fight. Never been a lady & never will be & has shown she doesn't want to be so if she wants to live out life on the gutters edge & that's where she's comfortable and happy? Then leave her to it. Rinna. Vaguely remember seeing her way back in late 70s / early 80s & thought she was pretty, great hair, thin & had an air of fun about her. As she's aged she's morphed into a caricature of an evil marionette. Looking at her for any length of time her makeup looks as a complete mask that could be lifted off all in one piece. Her underlying face is terrifying and repulsive, skull-like, tortured, bug-eyed, drooling & mean. And scared. I thought her reunion look was cheap and a touch hard-edged to compliment Ericka's. While I don't think Rinna has any actual friends in her life I could see her desire to be close to Ericka since Rinna knows she isn't as "back alley" as Ericka & needs a bit of protection & back-up because of her continuous foul behaviors & fights. Kathy. I think she's had a lot of practice dealing with anger, deflection, indignation, hostility & denial (her own and others). I believe she's pretty determined to make Rinna seriously regret she ever decided to blow up Kathy and will have no trouble drawing that process out for years. I felt Kathy did & remembered some more intense things than she's admitting to but not nearly what Rinna's accusing her of doing. And her attitude towards Kyle didn't ring entirely sincere. Rinna is unkind, a huge bully & a proven liar. Kathy has way more money, time, and access to better lawyers than Rinna. The best Rinna can hope for is for this episode to fade away before she and her family are bankrupted into obscurity -- which would be her worst nightmare. This is the only time I've wished one of these shows would have a 4 or 5 part reunion so Kathy could really dig in on Rinnas mendacity & hostile nastiness. Crystal & Sutton.--Altho' Crystal got caught out for falsely accusing Sutton of "dark" comments it wasn't any great revelation to anyone. Viewers will never learn what Rinna or Crystal really heard / really said because neither situation was what either of them made it out to be. Crystal and Sutton were mostly decorative , mostly silent, mostly ladylike. Crystals dress was classy (tho' not my favourite colour - don't like florescent colors in general) and a flattering fit - completely opposite to Ericka's. I only saw Sutton from head to bust for some reason but her dress seemed mostly inoffensive, not as over the top Haute Ridiculous as so many she's worn. I was glad Crystal and Sutton weren't drawn into big fights or pushed deeply into any of the Rinna controversy. The whole show was exhausting enough without simply everyone engaging in the "main event." And finally, The Absolutely Gorgeous Garcelle. I recently rewatched the NYPD Blue seasons she was on and was struck by how stunning she was at that age and how beautiful she remains. She kept her dignity, expressed her emotions without histrionics, endured the indignities and disrespect of watching again the ill- treatment of her 14yr. old son, the mean-girling by Rinna & Ericka of the book she is rightfully proud of & Andy Cohen being his usual petty, unsavory self & ignoring Garcelles' feelings. Garcelles dress wasn't a favorite but it wasn't awful and didn't over share the boobs like so many Howives seem to think necessary. Garcelle, Sutton and Crystal have the corner on class for this show. Garcelle is, for me, the absolute ruling Queen of all Housewives past & present holding honors for common sense, decency, humour, personality, intelligence, ease, talent and more. Rumour has it she might leave on her own ( who would blame her?) & that would begin the end of the show for many previous viewers. Personally a show based only around Rinna and EJ whining and bullying Sutton, Dorit being a logo billboard for free clothes, Kyle trying to find something/ someone to manipulate isn't appealing. No Garcelle? No interest. No thanks.
  14. I'm stunned. That terrible scene of Diana (supported by Ericka) spewing her foulness all over Sutton while Sutton sat there with her head lowered, her posture, her entire being sinking into pain, eyes filled with unshed tears as this Jenkins creature attacks & just vomits nastiness at a woman who has done nothing to her (to anyone, really & who even apologized for that nothing!). It was obvious Jenkins absolutely wants to hurt Sutton. Not win an argument or be " right" but hurt, deeply hurt another human being. She wasn't in a war, the war is in her. She is desolation looking for a place to destroy. That was the worst, the cruelest thing I've ever seen on any of these Bravo exhibitions of degradation. Worse than what was done to Denise, worse than LVP, just the bottom of the bottom. I felt physically ill while watching and still have stomach knots and my blood pressure needed extra medication. Jenkins & Ericka are a perfect match. "Soulless" is a truthful and correct description of those two. Sickening...
  15. Is Kyle's daughter (Farrah? The only name I know is Portia.)marrying a relative of Mauricio's? He looked so similar it took me a minute to sort out which was which! All sorts of interesting subjects for therapy there 😇
  16. Ryan the Repulsive was completely his best self in his last few minutes. Sure, Repulsive, 🙄 the Captain is intimidated by your short, micro-penised, thoroughly weak, unskilled, unacomplished, hateful, talentless, dirty, self. The part to take satisfaction in is that you've displayed those sterling qualities on a program shown in at least three countries and which will live on internet sites for all future employers and would-be benefactors to be appalled by for the rest of your obviously miserable life. PS- Your bare ass looks fat on tv.
  17. I caught a glimpse of WWHL a few weeks back . Ryan was one of the guests and was just as obnoxious as on the boat. Andy asked if he maybe had an apology for Aesha for all his attitude & comments and his response was "where's her apology to ME?" Even ol' Andy, usually supportive of the worst behaviors, was taken aback & didn't even joke with him. Bravo standards of hiring the immature, emotionally stunted/ mentally ill/ unstable are being upheld with Ryan and Magda and to a slightly lesser extent Benny. Ryan is plainly sick to the point that he's delusional. Doesn't seem to know what a balanced meal is let alone an elevated 5 star one. His ability is far below standard and his delusions prevent him from seeing even a bit of this. For him to say the chief stew position is irrelevant and could be eliminated altogether is proof positive he has zero idea of how to work on a yacht. As is his dismissing the Captain (his boss!) as someone irrelevant & just another person on the boat with him! Aesha is a very lovely human, seems well-adjusted and competent at her job. Magda is resentful & pouty, makes constant excuses for her incompetence & takes Aesha's non-aggressive, perfectly proper and justified observations on what tasks she needs to pick up & do better as "picking on" her. Meanwhile, she's constantly obsessing over her absent boyfriend. She's as distracted as a middle school teen with her first crush (to the point of flushing her white gloves down the head!!). It's Aesha's job to evaluate ("judge") your work/performance & let you know where you need improvement. Anyone with eyes can see Magda is too immature & incompetent at this point for this job Evidently none of these people ever heard the admonition. "Don't embarrass the boat. Don't embarrass yourself." . (tm Capt'n Lee) Sailing Yacht was so enjoyable this last season -- no assholes on crew, only one charter of truly horrible people. (the repeat female & her embarrassingly obnoxious mate and mentally impaired "mother"). It was a genuine relief to watch one show that was pleasant, happy & made the audience laugh instead of cringe. Proves it's possible for Bravo to do this--- would that they made the effort to do it more frequently...🕊
  18. I'm giving Sutton high praise and a gold star for character & class. After the horrible way Rinna has treated her for months and literally minutes after screaming and cursing and embarrassing her Sutton didn't hesitate for a second to offer sympathy, softness and a hand on the shoulder to Rinna -soap opera performance or not - Sutton chose kindness. 💗
  19. So when this Dwight guy comes in w Kathy Dorit takes the opportunity to snidely mention he used to be friends with some former friends of theirs. Then we are shown its the Vanderpump-Todds. PK makes a comment about Dwight coming over to "the Dorit & PK side". As I remember when Dorit first appeared Lisa Vanderpump mentioned that she and Ken didn't really know her as yet but they were long time close friends with PK and adored him & so hoped to become close with his new wife. But Dorit & Lisa didn't mesh well and now she and Ken are so estranged from their old friend that PK gloats over getting an acquaintance over to " his side". Is there possibly some substance these people ingest that makes integrity, reality, genuine honesty, and caring friendships no longer possible? Stepford- like ? Looks lovely superficially but mechanical underneath? Or perhaps in Rinna & Ericas case there might be a demonic element? (anyone watch that CBS show "Evil"? I can visualize one of those demons unzipping Erica or Rinna and stepping forth with a sigh of relief...)
  20. After having watched this circus of puffery containing many putrid people (and a few gems--exhibit =Garcelle ) I hit my wall with Rinna this episode. There is no longer a shred of doubt in my mind that not only is she emotionally stunted but also actually truly mentally ill. Sutton hit the Truth Target when she said it would take an exorcism to remove the soap actress from Rinna. The bit of trailer for next week with her "sobbing" about her pain sent me and my companion viewers into doubled over fits of laughter! Its hard to decide what she needs more - remidial acting classes or serious psychotherapy. She needs both of course, but it's kinda a toss up which should come first. She brews her own humiliation internally & it oozes out like sweat, smells rancid all on her own. Leave Sutton completely out of it. I'm seriously believing that fragile or nearly non-existent mental health and stunted or altogether lacking emotional stability are actual written requirements for Bravo recruiters casting these shows. And issues with substance abuse, sexual deviance, lack of ethics, myriad mental illnesses are cause for great excitement and higher pay for participants. There should be a new category in the physicians manual of disorders containing words like "Bravochosis"" for instance. Both sickening and sad & Rinna is the poster bitch.
  21. Kyle must've misread the invitation and thought Garcelle was having a pool party thus she showed up in a bathing suit & an almost cover-up. Erica, on the other hand, had flashback to her childhood trailer court & dressed for a combination tupperware/ sex toy sales event. And just to fancy up she purloined some neighbor kids Barbies, cut off all the dolls hair & made a ponytail for herself. Has anyone else here read "Bringing Home the Birkin"? A fun, light non-fiction read by a young man who accidentally found himself in possession of a Birkin. When he decides to sell it he discovers there's a huge lucrative market for used & older Birkins-- all person to person sales, word of mouth. He manages to make solid income enough to move to Barcelona and live happily bouncing Birkins from person to person. There's evidently a whole world ( & economy) out there based on these bags. 🙄 SMH
  22. My freshman year I was living in a very cute trailer park about a mile from campus. I was snugged up on the couch watching tv when the power went out. I went to the door to see if I could tell what was going on. Before I could open it the door was flung open and a man with a stocking over his face barged in. My reaction was a mixture of anger and fear. My first thought was for my newly purchased stereo system and that I'd fight him for it (I'm a redhead, Aries rising, stubborn, and as several husbands would testify - if they were still among the living -- I bite.) However this momentary bravado quickly passed as the man announced that stealing my stereo or anything else was not what he had on his mind. This encounter lasted about 45 minutes and I have always believed in Higher Forces which were very much in evidence that night. While that man might very well have gone on to assault other females at the point of his encounter with me I believe he was on his first attempt and altho' the experience was truly scary he never touched me and finally just left. I grabbed my car keys and ran to my car (that was terrifying- to go into the open to reach my car) and I drove the 1/4 block to my neighbor & called the police. After making the report I went to a friends apt. where I spent the next 2 weeks. It took another 10 days before I got any real sleep at my place & that was after adding a couple of new locks and my first German Shepard. And I hadn't had a gun to my head, nor even anything stolen. So Dorit stating that she feels safest at home so soon after such a terrifying experience does seem odd. Maybe in her case familiarity and bodyguards plus PK (& whatever her physician undoubtedly prescribed) evens her out to the point she's able to be comfortable there. However her experience came to be I think she was genuinely frightened and therefore I wish her Peace.
  23. But if she established her store in '71 and she herself is now 50/51 wouldn't we have seen articles like "Infant Fashion Impresario Brings Couture Diapers to Beverly Hills Boutique"? That sign just set my mind to wondering ... (just saw your post Zettak! In light of Suttons oddity and eccentricity I can buy she might think folks would get the joke. But I'd think only those who knew her personally would & even then maybe not 🤔. Somehow I don't think its been a Sunday picnic to be Sutton...)
  24. So Sutton's had her store for 50 years?? The sign said "since 1971" ! How old is she? I mean if that's the case she looks much better than I've thought she does...
  25. Ashley is so childishly immature. Gary had better watch himself or he's going to be accused of child molestation🙄 Gabriella made the right decision. She needs serious psychotherapy.🤕 . Love that Collin sees the entertainment value in his drunken mates.
