  1. I don't think I'll ever get tired of a heist episode, I know they'll always be great. They're even better when it centers around Rosa kicking ass. I thought it was a little rough for Amy to get Jake a fake therapist and spy on the sessions, but at least it helped him and he'll seek out a real one to continue going to? I feel like with Jake's problems with therapists this would not help with any trust issues. Someone tell me why I got SO excited when Cheddar came on screen? My thicc king
  2. I think this is what Brooklyn 99 excels at: taking normal human events and changing the language of it to be more accurate without necessarily emphasizing that change. Obviously the show is great at dealing with rough subjects (see: Moo Moo episode) and seeing the light in them wherever possible.
  3. I had just posted about wanting a pregnancy update and boy did this episode deliver (haha get it). I really did love the Birdbox clean up, as well as the green cake, it was great to see the dynamic of the Peralta men all together. I hope Jake has more confidence in himself that he'll be a better father than his predecessors. He's clearly shown how much he loves Amy and their baby, he's dedicated to being a good person (see: last episode with Doug Judy), and he's surrounded by some great dads (and obviously a ton of other super supporting friends) in Terry and Charles. I'm excited to see how he grows even more as a dad, and Amy as a mom. I also loved the J.K. Simmons Whiplash reference. Too perfect.
  4. I love a good Boyle/Peralta friendship episode, especially when Charles ends as the hero, which was very deserved. I LOVED hearing Rosa speak about the soap opera. It was both out of character for her to watch it but also perfectly in character for her to speak about it in the way she did. I hope we get some Amy pregnancy updates in the next episode, I can't wait!
  5. Overall an AMAZING episode. I feel like Holt has experienced a lot of death recently, which is sad, but I feel like each time he grows and handles it better. Also, like everyone else has been saying, Holt and Rose killed it this ep! The end of the episode seriously made me tear up. I was so happy for Jake and Amy, they really deserve it.
  6. This episode proved why the show is so so good: it can comment on difficult situations as a comedy while not being tacky or corny. All of Jake and Amy's "ways" were cute and respective to their characters, but the time lapse combined with the guinea pigs multiplying didn't make it feel like it was dragging on. I too also am wondering what the dynamic will be like when Holt returns as a Captain. Now that six months have already passed, we don't have much longer until that change arrives. I feel like there will be some contention with Terry, and maybe Jake, but hopefully it's taught him more about his subordinates and makes him an even better captain. Also I love Charles and Rose moments. They have a great dynamic that isn't overused.
