I realized we never got word if Scott was gonna be in the finale. If the party is a belated wedding reception, then Jim should be there with lines and not some glorified extra he became at the wedding. Another possibility is that the party could be another fundraiser for Johanna's scholarship fund. It would be a good reason why everyone is there including all the officers. Everyone basically knows Beckett's story and it would make sense to have political people there too.

Yep, I think getting Castle getting kicked out of the precinct cause of his relationship with that mob guy would've worked better as last season's finale. Keep the wedding to go on as planned with the 1st dress still getting destroyed. The two of them can go on their honeymoon over the hiatus and Castle could get his PI license so that the PI arc could be the beginning eps of the season. Tyson/Neiman could've been done for November sweeps. Move the western ep for February airing, but have them teased about getting a 2nd honeymoon so soon. Winter finale ep could've been the COTW that has him remembering Hollander's Woods story. Then the 2nd half of the season we could've learned about why he became a mystery writer and other childhood/hs/college stories that make him what he is today. Wished they had scrapped this whole stupid disappearance storyline and gave a season long subplot for Martha instead. I notice Alexis is back to calling her Kate. I wish they would give some consistency with that. Once Martha started calling her Katherine, it stay like that and we got some weird endearing nicknames. What little we see of Jim, he never strayed away from calling her Katie.

All of Rogelio's storylines are entertaining. I was dying at the lyrics of his song. I love how he still loves wearing lavender. At this point I want Jane to pick herself and introduce a new guy for her next season. So not into this triangle. I really don't care for Rafael and I'm liking the Michael/Petra chemistry more than the Michael/Jane.

I can't at this ep. This made all of the filler eps this season look brilliant. I think I rather have another Chad solo/Adler ep than get this crappy storyline that clearly they were making up as they went along. The only thing that made me lol was hs exchange student/intelligence guy saying Phil (Mackenzie Astin) is a douchebag. I want to know more hs stories from Faircroft.

Yeah the sneak is all kinds of wtf? Did Castle watch The Expendables too many times? Dr. Burke's office at least looks the same. Curious who will be the new showrunner. Next in line to promote within would probably be Hanning but someone outside could breathe new life if they have a season long plan. It probably would be easier to have a plan if they stick to 13-15 eps for the season. With MilMar and Amann gone, maybe no more dark eps and could go back to the s1-3 feel of the show. It'll be interesting to see what Bowman does. Someone edited in at imbd that he was gonna direct the X Files this summer that may start shooting in June. Con Man is also shooting in June so Nathan gonna be busy this summer. I was so not expecting Nathan to get a guest star role on the X Files. Ikr? This ep sound like it should've been one of the March eps so that Alexis was able to go on the trip cause it's spring break for her. So it'll be the 3rd time this season that Alexis can take off to where ever.

Yeah Alexis is in her junior yr so it would be the right time to think about grad school. She would be probably applying her senior yr depending on the deadlines for whatever schools she chooses. We still have no idea what her major is. For all we know she could've been majoring in biochem and decided to go to medical school. It's not like money is gonna be a problem so it would make sense for her character to go from undergrad straight into grad school.

Yeah there are new clips in the 2nd promo. It was shown during the rerun and the promo spot in the credits.

So another trip while the semester is still in session. If tptb say it's spring break then they really messed up on the timeline. It's possible they could be looking a grad schools but if tptb have Alexis be interested in being a lawyer than it would make more sense she be staying in the US for law school. But with these writers they have no clue what to do with her character in college and can't even bother have a C/D level season long story plot for her besides a boyfriend. Even poor Martha's subplot of a role in a play hasn't been mentioned since the 2 parter and instead got random boyfriend in Catle's pjs which let her to plan to move out. Ryan still manage to at least have a consistent season long subplot that basically started at the baby ep last season. Starting about how much it cost to raise kids to secretly being a bouncer at a club to working security with his brother in law. Then there was the bizzare sitcom Esplanie subplot last Christmas that hopefully ended the tedious off and on relationship they had. Then there's Gates who got nothing.

20th Century Boy by T Rex. Jimmy brought it to NBC but they passed on it. I enjoyed both eps but I loved the John/Common battle when they both got to dress up and went all out on the choreo.
