  1. Was watching Bad Moms and it had the most random mention of Castle. Christina Applegate's character has a meltdown in her car and mentions her dvr stop recording Castle. Lol maybe the dvr knew how awful the last season was.
  2. The Con Man trailer is now on a LA Times article so this one probably won't disappear. It's not the longer version that shows who else is on this season.
  3. Now that Nathan has more time than before, maybe Criminal Minds might cast him as an unsub. It seems like Joss was the only one to give him chance to not be the guy next door as Caleb. Johnny was very guy next door and that was right before Firefly while the Caleb role was after Firefly got cancelled.
  4. Con Man S2 trailer is out and it has Jon, Tahmoh Penikett and Merrin Dungey in it.
  5. Well that was bizarre. They were doing slightly better than the Castle finale until the cliffhanger. Pretty much everyone was getting some kind of happy ending and poor Juliette can't win at all. So Castle and Nashville show runners basically competed this season in who can do the worse damage to the lead female character.
  6. So Beckett is #5 on a mojo list for top 10 lead female drama tv characters.
  7. Ikr? It was such a disservice to both characters that they didn't grow closer and we had to see a forced Alexis/Haley bond this season. I figure she had a hero worship and would take Nathan's side no matter what. She kinda proved it with her insensitive Nathan is Castle tweet. Molly changing her look this season sort of makes sense since her boyfriend is apparently a bachelor producer and 10 yrs older than her. I would kinda enjoy it if she was casted on UnREAL as one of the contestants since she's at the age of a typical contestant.
  8. Nope. She was suppose to graduate this spring too. The show made a big deal of her hs graduation and choosing a college but totally dropped the ball on her undergrad education. Would a made a little more sense if s7-s8 had a one yr time jump and that's why Alexis was hanging around the PI office at all hours. Heh
  9. Series finale got a s8 high/avg s7 rating of 7.8/1.3
  10. This ep makes Hollander Woods the superior finale. At least the happy tacked on 7 yrs later would make more sense than the horrible transition of Caskett in the kitchen bleeding out, empty loft to full loft with 3 kids. ABC really should've told them they were cancelled around mid season so that LokSat could've been wrapped up in the 2nd to last ep or give them a 2 parter with the happy ending getting a better transition and not this randomly tacked on minute. Castle had no idea how badly secure his loft really is when he told Montgomery that his loft was the safest place in the city in Boom. LokSat is still mystery that well never make any sense. It came across as AH/TWP making things up as they go along. Plus having introduce the head of LokSat in a Beckettless ep where lots of fans skipped probably confused people even more. I was really hoping Vikram was gonna be part of LokSat since he kept saying he was gonna resign but he ends up being part of the gang and goes drinking with Ryan, Espo and Lanie. Not even Haley got invited since she probably was still hanging with Martha and Alexis. Don't even know wtf Caleb showing up at the end was about or who actually died in the car that Mr. Flynn set a blazed. Moving onto the good parts was Nathan acting the hell of that scene of forcing to give up everyone who knows about the LokSat nonsense and minimal Alexis. Poor Beckett's body, after being shot in the chest and now in the stomach she still manages to have 3 kids later on. Good thing that the show was cancelled, cause poor Jim Beckett. Out of the country on business and imagine him finding out on the phone from Castle that Beckett died going after LokSat. We never even found out his feelings about the separation or if he even knew about LokSat. Kinda sad that Jim's last scene on screen was being a glorified extra at the wedding and drinking from a champagne glass. Lol Tamala. I tuned out at the commercial breaks.
  11. Nathan finally tweeted about the cancellation, then of course jokes about being free for new roles. I'm kinda wondering if any of the cast will live tweet the finale.
  12. Well at least we're getting the happy ending wrapped up version. People might actually tune in for the series finale. Didn't Susan say that 8 years was a good run? ShayJean can finally release their music and Nathan has more free time to do Marvel stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a recurring guest role on AoS next.
  13. With Agent Carter gone, Marvel's Most Wanted will probably get the chance to do the 8-10 ep replacement spot when AoS goes on winter hiatus. I made it to about ep 16-17 before I just didn't care anymore. I'll probably just read the forum just to find out who was the mastermind.
  14. I didn't realize that Merrin Dungey is in the Conviction cast. Probably get a chance at a whole season while I rather see Agent Carter.
  15. Castle gets kidnapped again within a short time according to that promo. It's more depressing since we know there's a Beckettless s9 on the way with the promo monkeys probably getting word to go for season finale.
  16. So we got the Halloween ep in May complete with alter title card and it took 3 of the writing staff to do it. It felt like a combination of Demons, Wrapped In Death and Get a Clue and ended up being an enjoyable ep. Rick Cosnett was giving me Ray Wise Reaper vibes. For once Castle was trying to get romantic with Beckett which was nice for a change, but it's still sad since we got that LokSat mess next week. The chemistry was really good. Beckett, Ryan and Espo rolling their eyes but trying to find sound explanations to Castle theories made it feel like an old ep. These past 3 eps kinda proved that the writing staff can do a decent COTW and still split the screen time evenly with all the bts drama/concessions. This is what s9 should've been all along. Still don't care that Alexis drinks scotch with Haley and has no life of her own if she's hanging around the PI office at 9pm. Alexis wasn't really needed and the beginning of the ep could've been Haley working on a file or something. Alexis should be excited to graduate from undergrad and spending time with friends her own age instead of with Haley. Martha was missed but she seems to have an active social life even though we don't see it. LOL Lanie got thru another ep without saying lividity and being in more than just the crime scene.
  17. Yes that eyeshadow was so distracting. It looked like Beckett was about to get ready for a date night than work all day at the precinct. Even Luke is dropping the ball on styling her cause who green lighted that look. It's like they got to the home stretch of filming this season and everyone is taking turns on phoning it in.
  18. Alan still too busy, haven't seen Ron in anything in a while, Morena is busy on Gotham and just having another kid/custody battle with 1st kid and the last time I saw Sean was a small guest part in ep of Looking Ep was better than usual this season but any ep is better when there is no mention of LokSat. It was so obvious that Jewel was the killer since they revert to the most recognizable guest star and being introduced before the credits. Ryan's subplot was really enjoyable and hilarious being a dance mom with Espo and Jenny have to reign him in. Cute that Uncle Javi was dancing behind Sarah Grace. TPTB should've had focus on Ryan and Espo instead of super!Alexis and stickaround!Haley. Nice somewhat continuity that Ryan is a theater geek. The Cartel kingpin was entertaining but of course his permission present was Caskett time interruptus. The 1st 2 Caskett scene weren't half bad, but yeah that continuity still needs fixing when how can they be having date nights when the were separated or pretending to be separated for most of the season. Yay for Martha getting more to do. Her surprising Castle, Ryan and Espo in the bed was fun. It did seem strange that Martha wasn't waiting for Castle at the precinct when he got rescue.
  19. Hanning joined the show in s4 and had to deal with the increasing bts issues. So when he moved up the producers line all the way to the top in 4 seasons maybe he was expecting to be co running it with TPW for s8. I wonder if this was a disappointment to him to have a former producer/writer to become show runner when he was gone for 3 seasons. Maybe Hanning stuck around for this season since he thought it would be the end and now with the latest news he just felt it was time to jump ship off a sinking show. Since he's not show runner he coming off better than TPW/Hawley.
  20. It's just so obvious that when a guest actor is spending so much time with Castle, it's for one of Nathan's friends. The Nose makes even more sense now that I know that Alan was suppose to have that role too. Hmm I wonder if the Russian agent role that Castle spent a lot of time with was another attempt to get Alan on the show.
  21. So while I was watching Lucifer, I noticed Seamus snarky east coast live tweeting and Tamala RT everything since she never gets this many compliments in an ep. Some of the Seamus tweets that cracked me up. So a while ago Nathan and Alan were interviewed by Kevin Smith and they mention Alan was gonna be on an ep. I wonder if Alan was suppose to play Alan Masters, but his Rogue One schedule got too busy he had to pass and that's why Jonathan has this role. I got the feeling that it just seems like this guest role was tailor made for Alan with the comedic aspects and the hula girl reminded me of Wash's Hawaiian shirts.
  22. Hanning wrote an enjoyable COTW, but it had shades of different plots from previous eps (Chinese gang, mob, waste management plot from One Man's Treasure). Another ep where it seemed like everyone got equal screen time including Lanie and Alan the not dead victim. Jonathan had great chemistry with Nathan. LOL Lanie had many lines and she didn't have to say lividity. At least this Lanie subplot was better than the one with Ryan/Espo pranks. She got the date at the end tho I'm not sure we really needed the Alan/Lanie mind melt thing that Caskett does. Maybe Lanie get's her happily ever after with Alan. Also didn't need bumbling Castle in the lab and should've found another way to show that yellow chemical liquid is important. GH's Sonny of course is a mob head and JAG's Bud has gotten so old. The loft continues to be the worst secure place in NYC if Caleb can sneak in. Yay to no Alexis or Haley. Boo to no Martha and the horrible LokSat mess that basically takes all of Caskett screen time this ep. The anvils of won't be Captain forever, Caskett should go do other things like visit Paris and Caleb warning Beckett is becoming such a downer. So if you skip the Caskett alone scenes, Beckett/Vikram office scene, Beckett/Caleb office scene and Beckett/Castle/Caleb in the loft scene, it was a fun ep. With Lucifer renewed and I'm hoping Limitless gets renewed since both has basically fill the quirky consultant works with law enforcement that amuses me genre for next season. Is Canada gonna keep showing Castle on Sundays cause at this point it's probably a better companion with OUaT's underworld storyline than DWTS.
  23. Yep GG had all kinds of wtf those last 2 seasons. Haven't had any desire to rewatch but will watch the 4 revival eps. It seems like every show I've really invest into ends up with some kind of bts disaster. TWW was more budget/script on time issues especially with Sorkin in charge seasons then later with dividing up the huge cast into certain eps cause it was too expensive to have everyone in the same ep. Almost every alive character got a happy ending and their series finale felt hopeful. Duchovny checked out the last 2 seasons of TXF, but at least Mulder and Scully were together on the series finale, 2nd movie and the actors are in a better place together in s10 so it ended up being much enjoyable to watch than expected. Still storyline issues but everyone seems on board to continue mini seasons when free schedules. Alias seemed to have bts dating drama surrounding Jennifer Garner. Started the show married to Foley, dated Vartan and end up with Affleck by the end of the show's run. It seemed to affect s5 Vaughn storyline since Vartan wasn't in every ep. Now Castle has fallen into bts drama that affects the storylines. It's coming out with worse PR wise when you add the Kelly & Michael drama plus all the women that were killed off various shows the past few weeks.
  24. So next season the entire wardrobe budget is gonna go to Molly still dressing like a 40 yr old unless Luke decides to take a hike cause his muse isn't there anymore. It would be the only possible change in this whole thing is to get a new costume designer that knows how to dress all the characters appropriately. Saw that Austillo TVLine answer and storyline wise, poor Jim Beckett. He loses his wife and daughter in the conspiracy. That's just gonna kill him. S8 would've probably been better with a House of Representatives storyline since they could've written Beckett out at the end of the season but not dead. She would be never be shown because she's meeting constituents and in DC. It's not like Captain Beckett was an interesting storyline. Ryan/Espo/Lanie with Castle solving the COTW while Beckett's political run as the season long arc with her winning would've made a smoother transition into a Beckettless s9 and kept the Caskett love story intact. Probably would've been more entertaining to see Castle and Beckett at campaign fundraisers than this LokSat mess.
