  1. I'm enjoying this show, but I agree they really need to release the season all at once.
  2. This is a TV show, and the producers want an element of excitement. It was pretty clear to me that Buddha was far and away the best chef in both of his seasons. The guy knows how to create elevated cuisine. The judges might gush over more rustic dishes, but they clearly appreciate refined dishes. I think the judges downplay their reactions to Buddha's dishes because it would have been obvious he was the winner, which wouldn't make for good television. I also have no issue with Buddha's approach to the competition. He's a competitive guy and prepared for all possible scenarios. He is a talented chef who studied before the competition began. That's awesome, although not quite as exciting as Gabri's craziness in the kitchen.
  3. I haven't watched the show in a while, but it's clear they need the writers back. Sunny was WAY out of line, and Whoopie should have shut her down immediately. Whoopie was either enjoying Sunny's childish actions or needed a writer to help her stop Sunny. I was surprised that the producers didn't immediately go to break. The show owes Alyssa an apology.
  4. I like Galley Talk better than the actual episode.
  5. I don't think Jackie did her reputation as an attorney any favors this season. Yes, she was consistent in having Teresa admit she did not know if there was truth to the rumors at the reunion but Teresa had already stated that during the season. The issue was rehashed so many times that I don't think it was something Teresa cared to fight over anymore. It was an easy concession to make at a reunion. Where Jackie hurt herself was not fully apologizing for the Gia analogy. Whether or not she meant it literally or not does not matter. It was a hurtful comment and she knew the damage it caused on the internet. That deserved a more heartfelt apology from Jackie. She should also be embarrassed about her childish Jail comments. They are beneath her and she looks really bad stooping that low. Same with whining that she doesn't think Teresa likes her. Of course she doesn't and a wealthy, educated, wife and mother should not care what a low life like Teresa thinks of her. Unless, you are a fame whore willing to ruin your reputation to get on TV.
  6. I definitely supported Jackie in the conversation of unwanted advances. As a young attorney, I'm sure she had to deal with uncomfortable situations in the workplace. Teresa and Jennifer lived sheltered lives and became stay at home mothers at young ages. They don't have the experience of climbing the corporate ladder and encountering the difficult choices women have had to make. They should be more mindful in offering opinions on such a sensitive topic. Margaret, however, is capitalizing on the me too movement to sell a book and give herself a story line. I believe her stories and sympathize but I don't think she is telling her story just to support and empower other women. Jennifer's not entirely wrong in her assessment of Margaret.
  7. What does Jackie add to this show? All she does is whine. She should be thrilled that Teresa gave her a story line. Evan was very classy going over to Teresa. All Jackie could contribute was I don't think Teresa likes me. It was pathetic.
  8. This show made a major misstep by not having Chris Harrison in the hot seat. This is a very old and tired show and the only sense of continuity from the beginning origins of the show to the scripted nonsense that we see today is Chris Harrison. I find him a very likable part of the franchise and enjoy his presence on the show. It looks like they are flirting with the idea of replacing him. I think that is a huge mistake. He is the heart of the show and I think it will fold once he is gone. He needed to be held accountable for his statements on camera and have the "tough conversation". Let's see how Chris has grown and see him "do the work" on future installments of the Bachelor. Without giving him the chance to explain himself, I don't see how he can continue on the show. But without him as host, I don't see how the show can continue on for any length of time.
  9. I can't stand Jackie. Teresa is a terrible person and completely wrong about the rumor but this is Teresa's show. The other women will always side with Teresa because they want to keep their paychecks. Jackie is pathetically boring and should never have been cast for the show in the first place. Jackie genuinely thinks she is so clever but she is being outsmarted by Teresa. It seems like they filmed for a few weeks before the birthday party and there was nothing interesting going on. Teresa is a company man and agreed to spread a pretty obvious producer planted rumor. She needs the Bravo paycheck and she will do whatever it takes to keep Bravo happy. Unfortunately, Jackie is too boring to fight back with any flare. She just comes off as whiny and annoying. No one wants to watch you film your scenes on the driveway. It's sad. Teresa might be ridiculous but at least she gets viewers talking about the show.
  10. Teresa might be a terrible person but what Jackie did was reprehensible. Jackie is not stupid and she knows full well how an implication of drug use could impact Gia's future. It doesn't matter that she later put out a statement that it was just an analogy. The damage has been done and now people are going to go out of their way to find pictures of Gia at a party where drug and alcohol use is on full display. Gia is a college student and she should not have to curtail her college experience for fear of someone snapping a picture. It won't matter if she is actually doing something illegal. Yes, Gia is on a reality show and her family has profited from the show but Gia had to deal in real time the effects of her parents going to prison. I wouldn't wish that on anybody. From the looks of it, she seems too have come out of a horrible situation with a decent head on her shoulders. She shouldn't be ruined for a stupid storyline. Not that this excuses Teresa's behavior. But it should be kept between the cast members who actually signed up for the show.
  11. It's curious that Elena hadn't given Lila a real thought until her mother came to visit. She probably had those diaries in her closet for some time. I think being lonely and being sick on top of it really brought out all of Elena's insecurities. I also love how Elena's success is quietly giving her mother confidence in the world. It's nice to see Elena recognize her mother's growth and begin to understand why her mother doesn't want her to go back to the neighborhood.
  12. My heart broke when Lenu's mother gave her the money. She's just so proud and sad/frustrated at the same time. I feel bad for the other siblings who know they won't have the same opportunities of Lenu.
  13. I absolutely love this show and when season 1 ended, I ran out and read the entire book series. There is something so gripping and beautiful about it that I couldn't wait to find out more about the story. This last episode felt less intense than the previous episodes but it is clearly setting up for more drama to come.
  14. I thought the last episode, especially when they were listening to the heartbeat, was beautifully done.
  15. You know the guys got together and decided to go after Captain Lee. He took the bait for a half a second and then walked away. Good for Captain Lee for seeing through all of their bullshit.
