  1. Poor Boom Boom, being allergic to so much, and pineapple in Hawaii! I figured George was in on the plot, but it would have been fun if he was on the up-and-up and could be used as an informal informant.
  2. I'm usually terrible about figuring out who the bad guys are, but I figured out early on that the GF was at least in on the plot. I agree with other posters, Gary Cole is one of the main reasons I watch as well.
  3. It seemed inconsistent to me, what they counted as a correct answer. Sometimes there seemed to be a lot of leeway, sometimes they were really strict. Across several categories, not just snacks.
  4. I'm not sure she does. It seems like this is set in the summer, and George Sr seems to be home a lot. Makes sense, as a HS coach he'd have summers off.
  5. There is an local ad that gets to me. It's for a law firm, and talks about how everyone makes mistakes. They show the main lawyer at a coffee shop, holding a cup with "Mack" written on it. His name is "Matt". I yell back at my TV, what if it wasn't a mistake and Mack really wants his coffee!
  6. I think I like Michael, but cringed a bit at his "see anything you like" line when they were getting that massage. I agree that Chloe seems to be acting.
  7. I loved the comments about the BB gun and shooting an eye out. It would have been funny if they could have gotten Peter Billingsley to play Josh.
  8. I'm rewatching this on Comet now as well. LOVE the show still, warts and all. I am reminded of one thing that always irritated me, that they would be doing something on broad daylight, then all of a sudden it's full night. I also didn't like Juliette burning down the trailer, and the whole Eve plot. Love Trouble and wish they had done a sequel with the kids and maybe Trouble being their mentor/leader.
  9. Seriously, he's not even married to the mom yet and is already making decisions about things like the daughter's birthday?
  10. From that interview "She continues: “I could not, for the life of me, wrap my brain around why America was so invested in my sex life and choice to remain a virgin!" Well, she made SUCH a big deal about it. Going up to her new MIL talking about the meaning of her pure white dress. The announcement to her husband.
  11. I wonder if he runs the business side of things as well as fixing the bikes?
  12. I wondered that also, I wonder if they are mics? I am over Orion. He won't ever forgive Lauren for her horribly offensive, crude and whatever else he called her joke. Nothing she says or does will be enough to overcome the horrible pain she inflicted. Yes, I'm being a little sarcastic, but he won't ever forgive her. He will bring it up whenever he needs to score a point.
  13. I have a new one I haven't seen mentioned. It's one of those Medicare ones, this is the "DYI Duo". They show scenes of the couple figuring out how to do things on their own, for parenting the mom is using a power saw to cut the head off of a teddy bear in front of the young kids to "teach them to share". Then it has the couple talking about how nice the agent that helped them was, wondering if she is married and how a friend of theirs would really like her. It end with them calling the agent. https://www.ispot.tv/ad/5yo7/medicare-coverage-helpline-do-it-yourself-duo
  14. This part confuses me. It doesn't seem like there are other shifts of people monitoring Ben. It seems to be a 24/7 job, to be sure Ben is getting the support he needs, and they don't know when he is going to leap again and need to be found and updated. Not sure how they have lives outside of HQ and don't get really burnt out.
  15. Thanks both of you for confirming what I had found. I'm not saying it's not a derogatory term, but his take on it just didn't make sense to me. And his reaction when she used it was over the top. He talks about the difference between ignorance and hostility, but doesn't really get/believe it. Ignorance can often be changed with learning and doesn't have evil intent.
  16. This show was the first time I'd heard anyone talk about a connection between the term "redskin" and scalping. What research I did online also doesn't find a connection. Am I missing something? That was a really heavy conversation, lots there and a lot for a honeymoon.
  17. I agree that 65 times more is high. But it does depend a bit on what the initial offer was. The day after my husband was rear-ended on the freeway, smushing his SUV badly enough that he had to be cut out of it, the other guy's insurance called and offered us something like $1000. Total. When we were going to need to replace the SUV, and we had no idea what his medical bills were going to be yet. We ended up settling for his bills being paid, the SUV replaced and something like $25,000 to us/our lawyer. Thank God he wasn't seriously injured.
  18. She did, but it bothered me that her friends brought it up, "Did she tell you about her health issues?" What if she hadn't yet? I didn't think it was their place to bring up the topic.
  19. Totally agree! So over houses needing to be "sexy". But the Dallas team really does seem bad on estimates. And missing pretty major things that end up needing to be addressed. I hope it's for show drama, and not just them not totally knowing what they are doing.
  20. I found that jarring as well. I'm really wondering if they bother to explain it, and if so,how.
  21. Just finished watching the first 5, getting caught up. That song creeped me out as well, and was stuck in my mind the rest of the day! They didn't tie it together well at all. I think the 10 year old boy was just a red herring, so Luke would think he was dealing with something much less dangerous than he was.
  22. The carpet was a terrible choice. Not only too big to finish in the time allotted but at the same not not as challenging. It was replicating a pattern on a flat surface. The 3-D objects were so much more challenging IMHO.
  23. It seems like anyone could replicate the Krap Strap for themselves, unless I missed something. The sharks are usually all over that, but it didn't come up. Personally, I think a little of the older owner would go a long way.
  24. I thought it was interesting that Orion was all about honoring his culture, but didn't date anyone from that race/culture because it was a matriarchy.
  25. I love the "don't take XYZ med if you are allergic to it". Well duh!
