  1. Actually Kin Shriner had left PC and returned to GH full time before the supernatural storylines on PC started, so maybe it was easier to reintegrate him on GH. But anyhow, not having Lucy and Kevin back for almost a decade was a terrible decision by tptb.
  2. According to the episode recap of that episode that you can find in the link below, My guess is they had probably used flashbacks of both Finola and Tristan, as this was his last episode back in 1992. I think the recapper would have mentioned it here if Finola had returned. https://www.angelfire.com/tv/curlyqgrl/gh/eps/gheps1992.htm#2/19, 2/20, 2/21, 2/24, 2/25, 2/25
  3. Victor simply does not care about an innocent child. Him not hesitating for a second to tell Peter the truth about baby Louise only to get the Drew info ... is probably in character for him, but he just fell from my personal hit list deep down to the other one starting ith an s... Serves him right he did not get the info he was doing it for.
  4. I was kind of surprised while watching today's show that Austin mentioned having a brother who is on the spectrum. Now, after reading the comments here and remembering Austin's unusual behaviour at times, I am sure that he does not really have a brother, at least not one who's on the spectrum ... and that he was talking about himself, especially since he was quite sincere about it being a private matter. Go Kristina! Please put Lexi back on contract.
  5. Loved Felicia's confrontation with Peter. Was this the very first one-on-one ever of these two? Credit where credit is due, both Kristina Wagner and Wes Ramsey were on fire, and the writing was great, too. Good use of GH history with Felicia remembering Cesar, and Peter using Felicia's past motherhood failures to connect them with possible Maxie mama issues. Definitely my favorate confrontation today. Charles Chaughnessy is obviously having a blast, his Victor is a great "new" villain to watch. Hope he will stay longer than half a year. Kelly Monaco and Cameron Mathison have good chemistry. But thanks to Carly and Drew on Robin's bridge on NYE's ending, we are probably on the road to Drearly. Funny though that Drew mentions how glad he is that Sam and him never lost their connection, as this had not been true ever since Jason had returned from the dead the last time some years ago. They had no visible connection at all for quite some time (thanks to prob backstage turmoil) after Sam left him. And good for Brad to open to his bestie Britt, who knows how to play the game thanks to her parents. May I hope against hope that Liesl has left with Scotty to help Luke preparing his revenge on Victor offscreen? Am really enjoying the show right now, good start into 2022.
  6. I am 100% sure that Luke is still alive out there, making Victor believe that he successfully neutralized him. And I'll go one further. My prediction is that Luke will have help from somebody that nobody has in the cards yet ... his old nemesis Scotty. Why? Because Scotty sure did not like to be thrown out from a plane by Victor's henchman, and he sure does not want to share his Schnitzel. IMO it cannot be an accident that Kin Shriner is on leave of absence right now. If Luke really had died, we would certainly get to see Scotty's dance of joy on Luke's grave.
  7. Whether Luke's really dead or not (probably the ladder), Tony Geary would only return for a guest appearance maximum anyhow, not for a longtime stint, so no big worries for all Luke haters. And I always enjoyed TG's performances, so I would not really mind. We just found out that Victor is behind Luke's presumed demise and that he is targeting Laura next, so it looks like the Spencer Cassadine conflict will be resuscitated, and I am all in for that. And how Spencer will fit into all of this, as he just started to connect with Victor. The first three episodes of 2022 each included 4 Golden Age actors every day <yay!> which has at least partially to do with Luke's supposedly demise. And today Lucy will be back. She was a friend of Luke's back in the day, as was Alexis, right? Am curious to see how they will react to his "death". If all of this leads up to Luke bringing Holly back to his best friend and her one and only true love Robert, then IMO it will all be worth it in the end. Sad RFS on yesterday's show broke my heart big time. And finally, it is sooo ironic that Kin Shriner is on a leave of absence right now, as Scotty would be the one celebrating big time that his longtime rival is finally gone for good (for now). I so wish that we could see Mr Schnitzel's reaction.
  8. Color me surprised if not shocked - how stupid can I be lol - that is was BRAD who delivered the poisoned food to Peter. I thought it would be an unknown Asian just to confirm there was a connection to Ms. Wu. I hope (against hope?) that baby Liam will be ok. Very touching scenes with Brando talking to God, and with TJ later on. Took me a moment to remember their connection when TJ avoided Brando at first at the lift. Intense performances of both Sofia Mattsson and Johnny Wactor who have convinced me in no time that this storyline is worth watching. ... and what can I say, I love Lucy ... what a beautiful way to give us an insight by going down memory lane here, Lucy sharing her history of misscarriages and her love for daughter Serena with Sasha. No mention of Christina unfortunately, but all in all wonderful acting by Lynn Herring. I am good with how Willow was reacting to Chase and BLQ. And Chase believing in what they are doing and telling BLQ that she is doing the right thing, nice touch. Nina and Britt talking it out was well done, too. I did watch last weeks Tuesdays and Wednesdays thanksgiving episodes in a row, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the writing around the loss of Jason, concerning the strangeness of real life circumstances influencing the development of where the story goes. I would consider these two episodes to be some of the best material GH has shown us in a while, including a cast giving great performances. Bravo! They really got to me for many reasons. So thank you show for doing just that unexpectedly, in times when imo ... temporary escapes from developments in the real world are much needed and appreciated.
  9. I enjoyed Sasha way back when, in her storyline with Nina, and I still do whenever those two have a rare scene together. But that's about it for me. I used to enjoy Brando when he first appeared in early 2020, fine actor when given the right material, and def nice to look at. Unfortunately the pairing of those two characters does nothing for me. Especially Brando has become a big (occasionally stripping) bore. The only interesting part here is annoying Gladys. Good actress, terrible character. I am still waiting for some sort of interesting developent here, but so far nothing. I do not feel the need for the baby to die, as it would give the couple some sort of importance that simply is not there otherwise. Let them have the child and then move away for good. Or give them some sort of interesting story, anything.
  10. I do know now, thanks ;) Still I do not really get the point. Actor bashing is something I am totally against, but no nick names for fictional characters? I do not get the problem.
  11. Minny is my nick for Sonny's progression from Mike and then back to Sonny. Actually I feel the nick even makes sense, as the current softer spirited Sonny is a mini Sonny to me. I did not really know the nick name rules on SOC, so I was a little surprised when I was censored. I am so used to call Sonny Minny, Esme Assme etc. over here. And I usually only use nicks that make kind of sense to me in imo character context.
  12. Curtis finding out that Marshall is his dad was well acted. I sort of enjoyed troublemaker Assme, but I also enjoyed Cam not having any of it. Spence seemed to be the stupid teen here, just to then pick a brain wondering why Assme was repeatedly talking about Cam being interested in Trina ... just to again not recognize Assme's odd behaviour. Interesting chat between BLQ and Chase. Nice touch that Chase does not believe her. As handsome as he is, and as IMO interesting Brando was when he originally appeared almost two years ago, he unfortunately has become the most useless character ever by now. I am almost glad that Gladys is there to annoy him. Nice to see hot funny Kip again. Him and Glad together should be comedy gold in tomorrow's episode. Scotty and RFS (and Victor) together in jail. Has it been more than 30 years that those two Golden Age boys have had a good scene together? Anna tossing the syringe into Peter's thug was kinda cool, as were Valentin and Anna interrogating him as a team. Too much talk about Peter is kinda annoying, even if he was not in the episode at all. All in all an entertaining episode, and no Minny in the previews. BTW I got censored on SOC for calling Minny Minny, because nick name ... and I am a little proud of that lol.
  13. What just happened ... Tuesday's episode (aka really Monday's delayed episode, as Monday's episode was definitely Friday's cliffhanger episode, due to the one day in October where there was no GH for apparently no good reason) was soooo good. Nothing to fast forward, not even Joss or StoneCold ... a phantastic episode all around. I seriously hope that there are no plans to kill of my dear mutter! Loved Alexis and Harmony, Nikolas and Shawn (that is if the latter does not give in to Nikolas' offer tomorrow, as I enjoyed Shawn's return for the very first time here), very much appreciated the conversation between Trina and Spence. The teen scene is on fire right now. The writing was quite good, too, discussing and showing the different sides of Nikolas' character, or Alexis trying to stay in jail for maybe the wrong reasons. So, what can I say ... I do not have a single complaint. Sorry :( ... oh wait, how could I forget ... the previews with Cholerarly and Minny.
  14. Which is especially funny considering Sam IS a Cassadine. (which @rbsnow54 mentioned like 10 hours ago, did not see your mail, sorry) :)
  15. Another good episode, the second one this week imo, feels like several storylines are moving forward. - Drew realizing with Mutter's help that Peter mind controls him - RFS and crew finding out about Victor being alive - Ava vs. Spencer - I really really enjoyed Assme vs. Nikolas and Kevin - Jason and Britt was ok And - as a bonus - Victor not having any of Peter's crap Even Sonny and Carly were not too bad, what with new Sonny (Minny?) reacting relatively mild to Carly's confession concerning what happened with Jason. Now it feels as if the last big elephant in the room left is Sonny's feelings for Nina. And if the writers see the - IMO - gold that they'd have by letting the 20-year-Jason-Carly-Sonny-crap implode for good finally, that could be a way to go, just sayin'. If only they would finally stop the 9 month crap and lay it to rest on the Pennsylvanian side of the river. Previews Peter to Victor: You do not want to kill me Victor. The audience all over the world to Victor: DO IT NOW! MAKE IT HURTFUL AND FINAL! WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER!
  16. That's what I thought, both actors probably need more time for school or college, or maybe other projects. William Lipton has been off contract for quite a while now, and he is still on quite often. And even if the actors will leave at some point for these reasons, both of them have already done a great job for some years.
  17. BJ's birthday was mentioned on Thursday's (7 October) show, and BJ as born on October 6, so I guess we are a day behind thanks to Wednesday's preemption, and we will see today's show on Monday. According to today's end credits, Sydney Mikayla is not on contract anymore. Did she announce this? Maybe I missed it. So both she and William Lipton are off contract now.
  18. Nice continuity with the mentioning of BJ's birthday. I just looked it up, and she was born October 6th, and today's episode was supposed to air yesterday, so good job here. Chase's influence on BLQ concerning Austin / the Leo situation as well done. After today's episode, I am 100% sure that Lulu will return soon, and my guess is she will be Drew's new love interest. I wouldn't actually mind a Sam-Lulu-Drew-Dante love quadrangle. I liked that Victor told Valentin that he is his father. And now I think that Victor's bluffing. And I haven't really thought this through, but I had a positive surprised reaction to Drew's appearance at the end of the episode, I had forgotten Peter's mind control thing. All in all this was an episode that I enjoyed watching, even Sante didn't really bother me. When the previews for tomorrow's episode were shown, I cursed out loud big time when CarSon were shown in the very last picture.
  19. The first Sonny-Carly-Jason free episode since early September. Thanks to the soap Gods for small favors. RFS is finally back in the game, even better. Was this the first time the key is mentioned? And what about Drew's programming, did we know about that? So Valentin and Victor finally meet, intriguing.
  20. Looks like SteveBurton's off time thanks to covid has started. I actually thought that Kelly Momnaco looked and acted way better / more awake than most of the time lately, but I did not pay attention to her dress. Finally Assme was busted (kinda) for something. Best moment of today's episode: RFS in the previews :D
  21. I am wondering if we are still one day behind and today was supposed to be Monday's episode, as Monday's ending was almost completely repeated today. Glad to see Chase back in detective mode, it's been a while, and enjoyed the interaction with BLQ. Peter dissapearing again, oh well, I guess he will meet up with Maxie and Louise soon, realize Louise is his, and then he will somehow die. Pretty sure Peter is not for long now that we know that Faux Victor is behind it all. The return of Sonny played out rather boring, wish he had found Carly and Jason while they were really at it. But I guess now it will be about Carly's and Jason's feelings for one another, which could maybe result in the implosion of the triangle of doom down the road, one can only hope.
  22. Jason smiling the way he did (as he almost never smiles) when his bride entered the church was hilariously creepy. Carly appearing in Sonny's dream and moving towards Jason to the altar same time was nicely done. Loved that one of my atf's Diane made an appearance. Bobbi's hair looked strangely wiggy but it probably was just a bad style I guess? I liked Willow's hair. And I don't get the fuzz about Josslyn's dress, she looked adorable. After yesterday's ending, I was sure that today's show would end with Sonny getting rescued and opening his eyes, without us viewers knowing whether he remembers anything or not. Glad they took a different route here and let him remember for good. All in all an enjoyable episode to watch, esp. the latter part concentrating and moving forward the sl's.
  23. Jax and Kate had a one night stand back in 2008, and Jax' then wife Carly walked in on them if I remember correctly. Just binge watched way too many 2008 /09 episodes a few months ago.
  24. I enjoyed Alexis' and Harm's chat a lot, hope they are bonding some more soon. And I enjoyed Joss not giving Assme the time of day. Sb needs to put that lil psycho in her place. So will Phyllis burn to a tano crisp or fall into a coma so she can't tell Yike about his true identity? Will Whocas attend his sister's wedding? And will Heather ever find out / react to that her son has been killed months ago??
