This. This is how I feel as well. I’m not happy about how they seem to have hand-waved away her soul crushing, gut wrenching, paralyzing grief. What? One day she’s having nightmares and can’t sleep then next day poof, she’s all better? Simon is IN love with her. All the way in...and she’s so damn distant! And how she got time to do this stuff when supposedly she’s freakin running the entire freaking show at work??? I’m sorry but, if this on-the-bubble-show pops? I will not be sad. Hate to say it but this season sucks. Works better when it’s not-so-many side-plots. It’s dragging the energy from the show. Didn’t even bother to rewatch this one...Emily’s storyline should’ve been heartbreaking but it was just meh in the end...something’s missing. Did they switch out writers,producers, something? Cause this ain’t it, Chief.

Things I liked in this episode: 1. Simon is all the way in love with Zoey. In. Love..Kid with the voice (damn!) sang "Love on the brain." Simon is sprung. The way he looks at her! Oh my lord... I want a man to look at me like that. I buy this relationship a lot more than the Max one... way better chemistry. Shared past pain, he just gets her in ways Max never could. When she was crazy hurting? Max was all ‘what bout ME?’ While Simon was ‘you feel what you feel, don’t run from it.’ He just gets it. And that matters. A lot. Please show. Don’t mess with this... 2. It just works better when Zoey is out front. They can have secondary plots but it works best when they are MINOR plots and Zoey’s is the major one. This is the first episode this season (besides episode 1) that’s a mandatory re-watch for me. 3. Love love love that the reason she glitched was because she wasn’t getting the main heart song person’s issues. That poor woman! Holy crow how sad! She’s the one who is seen as having it together, not needing any help, the stereotypical ice queen Asian...and she. Is. Hurting...can not wait for next week’s show! and finally...4. Call me shallow but I hate Mo’s blonde wigs! Ugh! No! And her getting pissed that he had to take the stuffie back to his kid? Instead of fricking HER? That’s a dump-able offense in the real world...how insensitive and self centered can you get? Why would any man date that? I feel better about this show when I just ret-con them doing time jumps...so “Zimon" has been happening for a few weeks in between episodes...and not just 7 days in my head. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars...loved it.

Like I said before; I’ve always been team Simon...so I’m kinda loving them together - right now... Truth is, Zoey’s so messed up emotionally she needs to be single for a couple of years...well...actually, she desperately needs grief counseling before she’s ready to be anyone’s girlfriend/significant other. Hot fire inspector has the sexist baritone singing voice. I like him and Mo together. He makes him/her better. Golly gee willikers there were a lot of hide behind the cushions awkward moments in this episode! How the heck are Max & Zoey gonna have any kind of anything when they can’t even communicate effectively? My goodness that was painful to watch. And Zoey’s brother’s face when he discovered that song was about his SISTER? Eek. Overall a good episode, if not horrifically awkward and uncomfortable to watch half the time. I like Tobin and ‘female coder’ they’re cute together. Missed Leif though. Know what else I miss from last season? Nerdy Coders coding. That crap gave me LIFE.

I don’t think Maximo’s DID the plating etc. ZOEY did. Max took one look at that mess and said no. Zoey went back and put it together herself (since, you know, this was all her idea/fault).

Another unpopular opinion: I was always team Simon. Sorry guys...🤷🏽‍♀️ I always thought Simon and Zoey made more sense..they actually have things in common, they have real conversations, better chemistry, and actually [in my opinion anyway] make each other better. Simon just gets Zoey like Max doesn’t. But him not knowing about her power? Deal breaker. They can never be. Doomed to the friend zone forever.

Since this is a spoiler thread, think long con. Mr. World in the book is LOKI. He and Odin were working together to ensure war happened. No matter which side "wins", the God of War gets allllllllll that power from all those dead gods. And with chernabog there to witness odin's death and all fired up and read to fight? Oh, it's on. Think Shadow is gonna be tied to the world Tree?

World Tree. Back to the book. And one of The Best parts of the book hands down. I honestly and truly hope they stick to the book's resolution because that was/is brilliant. I think Wednesday wanted this to happen. Notice one of the oldest of the old gods did nothing to stop HIS SPEAR from killing HIM? He wanted it to happen. They underestimate technical boy, who is a real live man now and is (probably) in no way going to help them with their app. Bilquis saw to that. This sincerely feels like a series finale. I really pray they stick to the book! Overall, this season has been fire!

Lucky for me, they have the episodes on demand the day before so I got to watch it with fast forwarding ability. Did NOT have to sit through Salim getting laid. I was not in the mood. That whole segment was so unnecessary to me. Added nothing to the storyline. Thoughts...Laura Moon is any god’s worst nightmare: a woman who is not afraid to die. Been there, done that, not scary anymore. Odin better not underestimate her. And I honestly, sincerely believe after the preview for next week’s episode that this is THE LAST SEASON. I think they’re winding things up cause book stuff is showing again Don’t underestimate Salim’s role in this either, I Don't think he’s done. Why do the baddies feel the need to make freaking speeches before they murder you? Noticed that in Star Wars too.."there they are!" And by the time you get ‘are’ out, ya dead. Tyr should’ve just ripped Shadow’s head off an given the speech to his corpse. I don’t know how Wednesday will die in this series, but he WILL be killed, and personally, I think Laura may be the one who kills him - and herself...maybe ‘book-style’ but w/Wednesday... This was great, but the The whole Salim getting laid and the lead up to it was wholly unnecessary.. we could’ve gotten the same results with him being caught in bed with hot-bellboy-guy. The next morning.

It's a book thing.(car reveal) Putting it here would be a major MAJOR spoiler. And when Bilquis was talking to the older lady in Chicago, the lady said Bilquis would need not just Shadow, but 'the other ' as well, like there are 2 Wednesday kids or maybe one of his God-kids...not sure.

Okay,we are officially in Adaptation Territory, 100% off-book. And ya know what? I am loving it. I think I see where this is going, but not sure. Is "the other" Shadow's twin, another Wednesday kid, or something else all together? If they're doing the "car" reveal this early on, I'm wondering if this is the last season for the show. Only thing I didn't agree with was Shadow and Marguerite getting it on, that was not necessary at all,and kind of a dick move for Shadow.

Oh.... I finally get it (Took me long enough!)!!! Maximo’s orders the food, pays the delivery fees, etc., plates/serves it to the patrons, and THEY pay MAXIMO’S for the privilege. Dang. Great idea. I’d eat there all the time. Great atmosphere, ambiance, etc. and you get your favorite chicken wings to boot while your bestie gets her tacos. No more fighting over where to eat! Dang that’s actually a legit great idea!

Sadly, (and somewhat surprisingly for me) it just wasn’t as funny without Anna. I know the show is called ‘Mom’ not ‘Christy’, but without her? The chemistry just doesn’t work and Allison just comes off like a bully. Not funny, so I kinda saw this coming. I feel sorriest for Jill’s character, she just can’t catch a break. I wanna see her happy. Whether that’s with a guy, with a kid, or with a kick-ass career, I wanna see her grow and mature and be more than she is right now. I don’t know...it’s just not ‘good-funny’ anymore, just same ole same ole funny and that’s just sad and tiring. I’m over it. These days I only watch the syndicated episodes and not the new ones anyway.

One thing we need to remember about Shadow/Laura: She was killed giving another man a blow job while he drove! She was cheating on him for at least a year, maybe longer (can’t remember). Of COURSE Shadow is emotionless and "idgaf" around her! She may have changed but she’s (literally) dead to Shadow. She’s literally his EX wife. And for him to feel anything at all around the bitch who broke his trust, broke his heart, cheated with his BEST. FRIEND??? Come on! And yeah, first thing I thought when technical boy was at the world’s fair was Wednesday...kept checking to see if he had a glass eye! That is such a Wednesday thing to do that my mind automatically went there. I adore Bilquis, and these last two episodes I’ve been talking to her through the screen, "remember who you are!" She’s literally one of the oldest of the old gods, maybe even older than odin...she just been in this form too long and forgot. She really don’t need "worshippers" to survive, she just got used to living this way. I’m okay with them straying from the book cause BILQUIS! Yes mama! I’m loving season 3 so far.

I remember in the finale, the final dance, Mitch said he’d always be there for her, she just needed to learn how to listen. I took that to mean the songs/dances would continue...you know, look at dad’s photo, cry, feel all the feels, and voila, there he is, singing, dancing, smiling, making her feel better. Did not think this season would be them glorifying illegal drugs with zero negative consequences and self centered ness taken to the stratosphere. They better fix this.

Ummm. *uncomfortable silence* I’m west coast (Hawaii) so...after reading your comments? I’ve made the executive decision to skip this one. It’s on the DVR, but watching live is no longer an option. Every episode is worse than the last. I need to be able to fast forward. And too damn many commercials live. I’m out. For real though...DID THEY get new writers? Cause this is NOT the same show.

Hope they don’t stray *too* far from the book. I love the reveal of Mr./Ms. World too much to not see it happen. I really want the show to mirror the book in that sense. Otherwise, I’m digging what they’re putting out there this season. Can not wait to see how the goddess that is bilquis destroys these suckers. You know she is...she ain’t no human and no cell will hold her for long. Can. Not. Wait. I see what Wednesday is doing, and he is gonna eff some people up. He’s the only one allowed to run a long (or short) con, and on his missus? Dude is in trouble. And I am here for it.

What happened to LEIF??? Who is this wimpy, wussy little shit? What happened to the badass that was boning the boss? The same one who told his homeboy Tobin to GROW UP if he wanted to be taken seriously? That this is work, not a frat house? Suddenly he can’t find the stones to LEAD?? The man who came up with a totally new product? Suddenly he’s a wussy??? And that preview from next week’s show has me convinced I should maybe quit watching live and just do something else Tuesday nights. Yuck. Seriously. Did they get new writers over break? These ain’t the same folks. I was willing to give them a few episodes to ‘get where they’re going’ the way they did last season but...it just gets worse and worse till I don’t even care any more.
