  1. That's it, I guess. I am not sure if the show will excite me anymore The dances were not really wow to me. I watched this season only for Wayne. He started off great but I guess he had too much in his plate. Also the choreography was a let down. Witney is a great pro but sometimes there is lack of content in her routines. It was understood that Charli was going to win. With the number of 10s she got it would look stupid if anyone else had won the show. Overall a boring finale.
  2. I totally agree with you on Whitney's choreography. You see less of the actual dance style. That's what bothers me and wish she would stick with the actual dance style and technique. Unfortunately Wayne has got another wrong song for the 90s night- 'Motown phily' to which they will be doing a salsa?? I want to see how they can pull that off.
  3. Umm how come Gabby got 10s when clearly her routine had mistakes. Her frame was not right. The footwork was not neat and she seemed uncomfortable. The judges scoring is not consistent I am happy for Trevor. He is a good dancer, but never got the deserved scores. Wayne has had 2 bad weeks. I am worried for him for the 90s night. Again a wrong song that does not match a salsa.
  4. Why are they having such lackluster theme nights? I like a few of Michael Bubles songs, but they are not very versatile songs. And again, wish they would have guest judges that know about the technique of ballroom dancing. Honestly the only theme night I was excited for was Elvis night. We have seen Disney night many times before,. And I don't understand why there was a James Bond night. Irrelevant!
  5. What's the criteria for winning in the dance marathon? I could see all of them dancing, so not sure how they got eliminated. I felt sad to see Daniel go out first. He was doing a good job. Among the performances, Wayne's samba was totally on another level. He and Whitney were so amazing. It was the best performance for me. Charlie's jive was low in energy, but she still got high scores. I enjoyed Trevor and Emma's jive more than Charlie's. He was underscored as usual. Gabby and Vals tango was also great. But I somehow didn't like her blowing her own trumpet. It makes me not like her but a huge fan of Val. He is fabulous. Heidi and Artem were good. But not a fan of the Jazz dance form. Jordin was boring. And surprisingly she got 9s Maybe I don't understand contemporary dance routines. Jesse's dance lacked the grace. It was my least favorite. I preferred Vinny and Joseph's dance over hers. Daniel was great and I enjoy watching him dance. He should had got some 9s.
  6. Was very looking forward to this episode. My parents watched his movies and listened to his songs when I was a kid. Not very happy with whoever those artists were, singing the Elvis songs, during the routines. They were bad and ruined most of the songs. I recall Maks abd Meryl jive in a previous season, and that dance really celebrated Elvis. I enjoyed the performances of Wayne, Trevor, Daniel, Heidi, Gabby, Vinny and Shangela. Charli seems flawless and not surprising. Tyra annoyed me when she asked Trevor/ Emma to walk along completely forgetting Len had to still give comments. Miss Tom.Wish he would join back:(
  7. It broke my heart to see James at the finale but not as a finalist. I guess it served the judges right for saving Ally over James and look what happened. Hannah was the winner and not Ally. I'm sure James would had won if he was in the finale. This IMO has to be the most unmemorable finale. The finalists lacked the punch. None of them had any good freestyles compared to the previous seasons. Hannah's was the best among the lot. Her lifts and movements were clean unlike the rest. In week 1 I definitely thought she was good compared to the rest of the female contestants. I am glad Ally didn't win. I can't still believe she was over scored night after night. The freestyle just exposed her flaws even more.Overall a very disappointing season:(
  8. This is the end of the season. I'm out! James was the frontrunner. I blame the judges for constantly underscoring James. I was anyway expecting Ally in the finals (since she has been the judges favourite) and Kel, but Lauren and Hannah over James? Speaking of Ally, she is not that great and lacks the finish and fluidity in her movements. But the judges have been blindly overlooking her flaws and giving her 10s for really mediocre dances. Very disappointing to not have James win the mirror ball, let alone be in the finals!
