  1. This right here. Although to me it's less about Marlena and more about chickens coming home to roost for Sami. She and her antics are what Will grew up with. He's mostly gone in the opposite direction, but just this once (I think), he's going the Sami way to give her a taste of her own medicine. Will doesn't have to grow up to be like Sami; in fact, he shouldn't. But, he was raised in that environment and was directly exposed to the scheming, lying, and the fallout of it did affect him. And I agree it will blow up in Will's face. But I can only see that as good thing for the character. For the most part, Will has been pretty bland. He and Sonny as the goody-goody nice couple is kinda boring. With Gabi gone and Ari rarely seen or heard from now, there needs to be some drama and tension or it will get boring fast. Easiest way to cause drama is with a 3rd party, but I hate triangles. So, I'd much rather see Will expressing some of his inner schemer instead. He's got plenty of influence between Sami, EJ, Kate and even Lucas. Though, as I said before, Lucas, unlike the others has actually grown up and become a decent person. So, actually scheming Will could add some tension between Will and Lucas as well as Will and Sonny. With Sami going, they are going to need someone to fill that scheming void. I think it'd be interesting to see it be a guy for a change. I mean, we have Eve, but she's pretty well laser-focused on Jennifer rather than just being a genuine troublemaker.
  2. Not sure how it works here, quoting spoilers posted at other forums, so I'll just say that I saw that (from SOD) Dr. Tan brings Kristen in to the police station. Sami and EJ happen to be there -- Sami filing a restraining order. AS apparently says that Sami feels that EJ protecting Kristen is what led to EJ cheating with Abby. I hope it doesn't play out exactly that way, cause I think that's ridiculous. EJ started up with Abby to protect Sami, Kate and Gabi from the whole "murdering" Nick thing. Or that's what the writers said back then, anyways. EJ and Abby wasn't because of EJ protecting Kristen. Sure the "lie" is what pushed Sami and EJ apart, and I guess could be blamed for EJ sexing Abby -- since this is what Sami was telling herself this week -- that because she rebuffed him and he sought sex elsewhere. I won't get into how oversimplified that is. But, suffice it to say, I can't see blaming Kristen. EJ found out what she did 5 minutes before the ceremony. He had no time and no way to stop Kristen. I hate that they've been playing it as if EJ knew all along, or for some significant amount of time. But no, he found out when Kristen was headed out the door to the wedding. What could he have done? Crashed the wedding and announced what Kristen did? With no proof? Might've stopped the wedding; might not have. Moot point anyways since Marlena did stop the wedding with the video. Kristen didn't get away with anything because EJ found out 5 minutes before everyone else. Was EJ an ass to Eric with the comments about it being supposedly consensual? Absolutely. But, even if he'd come out and said "Yeah I heard Kristen on the phone 5 minutes before the wedding", it still wouldn't have done anything. Not like EJ could go into the police station and make that statement and then the police would go arrest Kristen. Heresay.
  3. Finally, some decent fallout to this storyline! This shit has really been dragging, when you consider Sami and EJ will be off canvas in about 2 months. Not to mention, the big player, Stefano has been completely absent from the storyline. I know a lot of people don't like what Will has done, but I am all for it.. Throw everyone's dirty laundry out in the Horton Town Square and let the drama begin! Now, if I can only see Stefano back with a vengeance. I'm sure we'll see EJ's (drug?) deal gone bad and the whole urn thing will come into play when he's offed or has to fake his death. I assume Sami will try and flee town with the kids; whether it's running from the drug guys or running from the magazine blow-up. Kate, I assume is going to stick around, and I hope she gets it with both barrels. She has put herself in a really bad spot. Involved with Clyde; Jordan hopefully in revenge mode; Stefano hopefully in revenge mode; and hopefully Rafe flipping his shit on her. I know people generally like Kate, but I've had enough of her these last few months. She's screwing over everyone, and so her comeuppance needs to come. Watch, we'll probably see Kate thrown to the curb by Rafe, then in big trouble with Crazy Meth-Selling Clyde, and she'll probably run to Stefano to save her.
  4. Yep, and then she's mooning over EJ at the end of the show asking "Why Abby?" Why Abby? Really? It was nothing to do with Abby imo, just that she was the first attractive vagina-bearer to cross EJ's path who was willing to hop in bed with him. Maybe. October is when Sami and EJ are supposed to be off-canvas I believe.
  5. Eh, I don't see why the board would be embarassed by EJ. Hostile takeovers happen all the time. And as far as I can recall, he wasn't CEO anyways. That was all belonging to Stefano after EJ groveled to him to get the evidence against Bernardi. EJ asked Sami to vote his shares, which would not seem out of the ordinary as she had been working for the company and was his wife, whom he thought he could trust. Unless the board finds out that EJ cheated on Sami and Sami purposely married EJ to steal the company, I'm not sure why EJ would be looked down upon. Sure it was stupid, in that he trusted someone he shouldn't have, but, he wouldn't be the first, and until Sami's plan came about, no one had any way of knowing or suspecting that she had set EJ up. Also, as far as I can tell -- I'm certainly no corporate expert -- Kate forged the letter from Stefano that she has Sami read, putting her in as co-CEO. That would be fraud, so I'm not sure that the board would be happy with Kate and committing fraud and dragging the board into it. Stefano could easily disavow all of this; even if he supposedly isn't allowed to come back to town. He could still call the board, video-conferene, send a representative, etc. I may be recalling incorrectly, but I don't believe Stefano was on board with any of the letting Sami vote for EJ, much less giving Kate his shares -- they're not even married. EJ may be that stupid, but Stefano would not be. So, Kate's whole position in the company is a result of a fraud, which is obviously a crime. And any and all actions that were committed after that fraud would also be a crime. If Kate lied to be co-CEO, then she had no right to sell off businesses or anything else that she did. I don't believe Sami had the right to sell EJ's property either. Perhaps after they had divorced, if she was privvy to a 50-50 setttlement, but how does she sell his car? That makes no sense. This whole storyline makes no sense at all to me. It's just one last blaze of glory to let Sami go out on top. And while I can understand it for the actress and her fans, it's just really stupid to me. Still holding out hope that Stefano comes in and burns everyone to the ground. One more about Sami, I really don't get what they are trying to do with the character in general. Abby, EJ, yes it makes sense for her to lash out. I'll even give those defending Abby some whatfor, because I tired of Abby the Perfect Angel a long time ago. But this stuff with Jordan? And now she's what, suddenly in love with Rafe again? But still mooning over pictures of EJ? What I got from that scene is that Sami may be reconsidering EJ because none of the rest of her exes will deal with her anymore, so better EJ than alone? October can't come soon enough. Enough of this mess.
  6. Sami and Rafe is more stupidity. Why on earth would Sami think that Rafe would find out what she did, then go rushing to reconcile? And even if he did do that, why is Sami -- who is supposedly oh-so-in-love with EJ and devastated by his cheating -- giddy about it? I can't stand Rafe, but I hope he tears Sami a new one tomorrow. As much as I loathe Abby, and came to be disgusted by the Ejabby affair, I'm 10x's more sick of Sami in this storyline. I won't get my wish, but I can at least dream about a triple homicide to end this storyline.
  7. Maybe I'm missing something, but why can't EJ just go to the board and tell them that Sami and Kate committed fraud to get control of the company? I don't believe that the board could not act for 6 months, regardless of what Sami and Kate have said. It's stupid enough keeping Stefano out of this storyline with some unmentioned warrant, or whatever, but EJ is right there in town. Sami keeps saying that the board loves all of what she is doing, but, being that the board is being defrauded, you would think that by learning the truth, they would boot Sami and Kate just so as to not be guilty by association. I know, plot point, but it just seems so stupid. Now, I assume that Will's article is going to bring this all to light -- I hope -- and that will bring the DE part of this ridiculousness to an end.
  8. Personally, I don't want to see EJ grovel to Sami. She doesn't deserve it. Yeah he cheated and it was shitty of him when still in a relationship. That being said, enough is enough. If she had just taken the kids, moved out and filed for custody, that would've been fine. This putting him in jail and stealing everything through fraud is too much. I don't believe EJ has anything to grovel about, nor should he. He shouldn't get a pass on cheating, but, if not for him, Sami and Kate would be rotting in prison right alongside Gabi. I'm starting to want everyone in this storyline dead. Real dead, not soap dead.
  9. I would agree that Jordan is a hypocrite. But, that just makes Sami a bigger hypocrite. Throwing Kate in Jordan's face and gloating about this fantasy she has that Rafe is in love with her (Sami). So, it's okay for Rafe to cheat on Jordan, but it's not okay for EJ to cheat on Sami? And then, it's good and flattering that Rafe is interested in Sami (even though he isn't), whereas it's horrible that EJ was interested in Abby, for whatever reason. Sami is a giant hypocrite with the whole Kate/Rafe/Jordan situation. Apparently it's good to destroy Jordan, make her cry and rub her face in it. But, when it happens to Sami... everyone gets her venom, even people not directly involved like Kayla and Adrienne. Sami should be identifying with Jordan.
  10. Maybe do it by decades? The 2000s, the 90s, etc.?
  11. Well, the Horton Christmas tree is nothing but a bunch of balls. Just sayin'!
  12. I thought Kristen's outfit was very Kristen. What I didn't like was the "nude" lipstick. I just don't care for that look.
  13. They could certainly do that, but it would make them seem rather hypocritical. I really can't see what the big fallout of the story would be anyways Will most likely isn't going to expose the affair because he doesn't want to hurt pathetic Abigail. So, that will spare his mother the public humiliation of being cheated on. Most likely, it will just happen that the board will reconvene and vote Sami and Kate out and (probably) Stefano back in as CEO. It's not like they'd be losing their business, they'd be losing something that they took under false pretenses in the first place. Doesn't seem like a huge comeuppance all things considered. It's not like Sami would even get in legal trouble because stupid EJ signed the paperwork saying he wanted her to vote his shares.
  14. Only if they're married or engaged!
  15. Kristen is completely evil and does horrible things, but I still greatly enjoy the character. And yet, Sami and Kate act the same way, and a little of them goes a very long way. I'm over their storyline already. Not sure why that is.
