When I read your comment (I had not yet watched the episode), I thought that it sounded fairly familiar. Just watched the show and yep, it is a regurgitated episode from Beachfront Bargain Hunters or Buying the Beach and I thought that he was really rude with all the negative comments at his partners parents. Yuck. ETA: I guess I am a little late for this comment lol And yes, as soon as the realtor stays out it is a dead giveaway.

When asked why he wanted to be a singer, he stated that his mom took him to a karaoke contest (I think a contest) and entered him in it. So he brought up being a karaoke singer, which is not a good thing to admit to especially with Simon lol His replies to questions were odd, but it was his demeanor that was oddest. He had an okay voice and his original was way better than his cover. I liked the dance/acrobats from Japan. Did not think much of the HS dance troupe.

One shock and they learn to stay away. I guess I am cruel because my horse pasture is hot wire. My horse totally respects it and leaves it alone and stays in the pasture. The underground ones are expensive, plus they do not keep stray animals out, so a dog or cat being stuck out there could be in trouble unless there is an escape route into a safe area that the stray animal could not access it. For cats, better to use the cat fencing or keep in a catio with access to indoors. I have found fencing of any sort to be expensive though, but I live on Oahu...everything is expensive, yikes! I did like this HH though.

They do that on SYTYCD too, and I hate it there as well. So when do the Qualifiers end?

Exactly, plus Nigel seemed more tolerant of that buffoon and allowed him airtime over a course of several seasons auditions, then of this guy. Dude, if you read these forums, please disregard Nigel's ridiculous comments. You may not be ready for this show, but you have skill and talent, so please focus on that.

Its on Oahu. Prices are ridiculously high here. In some areas, places on small plots of land that are basically tear downs go for upwards of a million, and the place they bought was in Kaimuki, which is a great location: very close to Waikiki, Kahala and downtown Honolulu. I am so grateful I bought my place ages ago. There is no way I could afford to buy a house here today, and I have a decent salary. Kaimuki is an older neighborhood. There are some really nice, old style Hawaiian homes in the area. This was not one of them. lol

One of mine was a feral kitten, whose caretaker (I use that term lightly) could not be bothered to tell their landlord after they left, that they in fact did NOT take the momma cat and kittens with them, which they claimed they were doing every time they were asked. (this was all on barn property and we would have made sure they were integrated with the other feeding areas had we known he was going to leave them behind) Anyway, she was 4 months old and wandered to the closest feeding area where my friend fed and got beaten up by one of the other cats. I was able to catch her and took her home, and she wanted no part of outdoors ever. She is soon going to be 7, and has never once tried to escape. Easiest feral kitty transition ever, That old troll needed to be ejected! She was so nasty. A 9 month old puppy needs to be trained, and quite obviously, they hadn't done much of that! But it was his daughters puppy! Is that supposed to make a difference? Geez. I hate animal cases. Both the cat and dog owners were assholes.

Could not agree more. The pathetic, disgusting POS pissed me off royally. How did she ever give birth to such a (seemingly) normal child? Her kid seemed really nice, and I don't understand how that happened. Poor, poor momma cat and kittens. I had to give extra hugs to my kitty crew after watching this.

I thought many of the characters were acting out of character. Jeffcoat is slime. Why would any of them side with him? Yes, Chuck used and abused them, but to side with Jock? I don't buy it. Liked that Chuck got canned though. I do not think that Chuck and Axe would side up so quickly. Too much went on between them over the past few seasons for them to so quickly bury the hatchet. And for Chuck to go after Taylor makes no sense. Why? She did some harm to Axe Cap, but certainly no lethal blow. She is operating within the law...well she has barely started, but I bet she has more ethics than Axe. It makes no sense for Chuck to join the lets destroy them and make them wish they were dead team, other then the writers want Chuck and Axe together. Wendy wanting to destroy them makes no sense either. Sure, Wendy is pissed, but to destroy Taylor? Don't buy it. And really Axe? Go fuck yourself. Too bad she took some of your clients and one staff member. You treat a lot of people like shit (although highly compensated shit) so just go and make your company earn better profits than Taylors. He is a vindictive asshole. However, he at least was acting in character. Next season will be interesting though!

But did it have stainless steel appliances, white kitchen cabinets and double sinks in the master bath? Sorry, House Hunter addict here! Good for you on getting a good deal! Count me in as another who didn't get why the vet bills were capped to the value of the pet. The dog was out of the control of his owners and ultimately killed the beagle. So, so sad. The defendants at least were not assholes, denying their responsibility at least. I hate cases involving animals. Please, show STOP.

I loved the first audition and the Twitch/tap battle the most of this episode. Oh, and I love that it appears the 'all stars' won't be picking a team like last year. I did not enjoy that format at all. I love ballroom, but was not impressed with any of the three in the trio dance. They may be excellent, but that dance did not allow them to show off their skills really.

We on Oahu are not affected by the volcano, which is far away. We do get vog. We always get vog when the wind comes the 'wrong' way. Most people on the Big Island are perfectly fine. It is just a small area in the rift zone that is affected. That being said, it is very devastating to those communities. My friends property now has a 30-40 foot wall of lava on it. :-( The first two homes the hawaii couple viewed were in Ewa Beach, and the last one in Mililani. I do think that typically, Mililani is more expensive than Ewa,

Another one here who makes great use of the FF button. I liked pretty much everyone, but especially Desi Hoppers and the salsa couple. But the salsa couple got two 100 scores..hard to grow from that. I cannot stand the judges and the relentless filler of this show.

I am certainly going to give it a try, although I really, really, really hope that hot chick Higgins and Magnum are not a love interest. Friends would be great...see Watson and Holmes in Elementary. No hook ups needed. I tried to figure out from the trailer where the new Robin's Nest was, but was not able to figure it out yet. Sad that the old was was torn done, but I heard it was in disrepair. I still go swimming near it. I am not confident that Hernandez can pull off Thomas Magnum, but I guess we will all find out!

The thing that I find so annoying regarding the fake 'backstory' and budget was the fact that they chose the home listed for $410k, paid $425k for it and budgeted $250k for renovations, which wifey smugly stated at the end that she was going over. Dude was fainting at the thought of paying $700k, and yet, he paid damn close to $700k. Just show us the damn houses, enough with the fake stories, and like mentioned a few posts above, enough of the stupid recaps. We know what happened a few minutes ago. Show us the damn houses! /rant.

Me too! I wish more people were watching it. Or am I wrong to think it isn't getting good ratings for this network? I really loved episode 6 and what is appearing to be set up for the rest of this season.

I was so glad she gave out the $5k. Speaking of feral chickens, I hope to adopt a few genuine Oahu hens soon, since I will have the space for them. :-)

At one time the defendant added that he thought the $860/ month included insurance, which would make annual premiums around $6k. That seems pretty high, but I have no clue if that is near what one expects to pay on a Mercedes? I would hope not! Damn. Weird case.

I think she just was stiff in front of the camera. I fear I would be as well. I had to laugh when they rented the one over budget, 7 miles from the city center, since I figured it had to be near her work, and just like magic they mentioned that at the end. Yes, she got a job, so not so over budget. I really wish these HH shows would stick to the actuality and stop with their idiotic 'stories' which no one really believes anyway.

I usually like Alicia quite a bit, but got very, very tired of 'what America has to understand about singer x is that it is SO HARD to do what they just did' blah blah blah about every one of her artists. *sigh* No, the voters just vote for who they like Alicia...or at least some of the country. Hawaii does not get to vote unless we retweet unheard, which probably some fanatical people do, but not me. Really, the only performance that truly engaged me was WILKES. Not to say that the others are not talented, but the song choices did not resonate with me.
