  1. @Pepper MostlyI have always loved to cook, but got out of the habit after my mother died. I ate a lot of restaurant take-out and cheap frozen meals for years. The one good thing about the pandemic was that it forced me back into the kitchen to get creative again.

Right? He takes us out every week, when we drop off the weekly cook for my mother (this week, Provencal tomato and fennel soup, and Greek style shrimp with feta, Kalamata olives and Israeli couscous. And an espresso pumpkin bundt cake). He also provides cash for the food we cook. We all go out and take my 95 year old mother with us, for a treat. She's getting frail but she did great!

OMG, that all sounds so good! I have been taking meals to my BFF's mom every other Wednesday and I am definitely going to try the Greek style shrimp with feta and the kalamata olives and couscous.

  3. So let me get this straight. Delana was raised primarily by her first cousin because her birth mother couldn't take care of her. Then she was kidnapped by her birth mother and lived on the lam for a while before she was returned to her first cousin. The birth mother was the one who was supposed to make the drive to Houston, but she couldn't because of the effects of long COVID. Then Delana calls her brother, who lives in North Carolina, to see if he can help her move. Brother shows up with Delana's daughter, granddaughter, niece and the woman who adopted her. Are her adoptive mother and her first cousin one in the same?

This show rarely makes me gag, but what the hell was that stain on the underside of the mattress?!? It looked like fluid from decomposition ...

I do not want to know how you recognize that substance.

Year of watching the ID Channel. ;)

    I’ve never heard of Cookout!

It's a really popular chain in the South. You find them in a lot of college towns. The food is cheap and usually pretty good. I just wish they had some healthier options.

    There's a Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Cookout, Burger King, and McDonald's!

When I do indulge in fast food, I love a cheeseburger from Cookout. Their barbecue sandwiches are good too.

  7. I wonder if the poundparticipants have to sign an agreement that the cameraman will be shooting them from the ground up to make them look as large as possible.
