  1. What in the actual hell is going on with the make-up here?
  2. Maybe she was asked to do this precisely for the reason Lisa Rinna talked about: they want to match these characters thirsty for fame. The people connected to Roxie? Rinna, Erica, and LuAnn (I heard it mentioned here that she was considered for the part at some point). It's actually quite smart casting. Also, here's my take on Denise (who I like, for no real reason). I think she seriously doesn't rely on men at all anymore, especially for money, and Aaron is really just a sex idiot to serve her needs. She doesn't seem to expect anything more than that from him, and sometimes seems annoyed that he gets involved with the drama.
  3. I know I've said this before (so excuse the broken record) but these women don't read books, don't have any life experiences that they can talk about, they don't make observations about life, they have the worst senses of humour I've seen. Their "output" is so boring because there is basically zero "input" in their life. Kyle seems to spend zero time with her kids, so there's nothing new there. THE CENTER WILL NOT HOLD, PEOPLE. It turns out it just dissolves into a sludge of banality.
  4. I feel like I joined these forums just in time to see these housewives franchises implode. These guys have been beating the dead horse that is Denise's dinner party for months. Months! They are boring and repetitive. There's nothing left to care about with them. I used to love all the real estate and shopping trips, and now we've got Dorit in her non-Beverly Hills House telling us that she definitely 100% has soooo many shoes for her new closet. So many, guys. Didn't you see them in that split second camera pan? Gone are the days of seeing Lisa Vanderpump's closet that this the size of my house, and watching her put tiny horses on private jets, etc. I did notice that Kyle was sure to keep her Birken bag in clear camera view during Kim's doctor appointment.
  5. These women are really racing each other to the bottom. Sonja is a goddamn mess, and not in a fun way.
  6. The best ending would have been to watch Scheana's boyfriend crush a beer can, ha ha. He's a bit of a brute. Not sure how I feel about this show. I think it needs fresh air, but if these new ones are any indication of the talent out there, I'm probably going to stop watching. I think if Dayna sticks around, they will pair her up with Katie for the show friendships.
  7. I didn't know this either. I will not make fun of her speech anymore now that I'm aware of this.
  8. These garbage people have ruined their lives by being on this show.
  9. It's not ok that Aaron said that thing about crushing Denise's hand, and although I understand he was sticking up for his wife at that dumb party, he really was hamfisted and mansplainy about it. I'm still on team Denise, but I think Aaron needs to keep quiet and just stay in his role as sex idiot (à la 30 Rock).
  10. Maybe the reason why Denise is so defensive about her kids and what they hear, and why it doesn't matter whether her daughter said it was funny or not is precisely because these bitches have already made it clear that her daughters aren't important enough to be sheltered. They talk about Denise's kids like they are damaged goods because of who their dad is, and because their Mom says fuck a lot. I would be frustrated and demand some boundaries if I were Denise too. They should shut up and back off. Aaron, bless is heart, is nuttier than a squirrel. He was trying to support his wife, which I can appreciate, but hoo boy! Teddi and her accusations of "mom shaming" are a bit desperate. I thought he said something like "stop telling me to shut up or I'm going to crush your hand". It seemed to me that he was getting irritated that Denise kept saying "shut up shut up"
  11. Garcelle is ridiculously beautiful. I also liked that she was on Denise's side.
  12. I don't think Denise asked people to stop swearing, I think she wanted them to stop talking about sex acts. In other words, her kids have heard her have a fucking conversation, she just doesn't want to have a conversation about fucking. It's not that hard to figure out.
  13. I see this differently. Denise is managing a lot of moving parts here, and doing her best to moderate what her kids know and when they learn about each of their parents public lives. I can't pretend to know what that's like, but I imagine having a bunch of drunk bitches show up and raise even more issues would be frustrating. Trying to explain that afterwards to "friends" becomes even more exasperating because these women don't have conversations in good faith. Erika won't have a trustworthy conversation about it, because she refuses to be wrong about anything. Also, I think there have been gaps in those girls lives where they didn't see their father, because of custody battles and his addiction issues. Again, Denise has her hands full trying to earn a living, and making sure her kids have a decent childhood. I don't begrudge her that.
  14. It's hard to track everyone's double standards. Every woman at that table, minus Denise, is lacking serious empathy for others. And, why is Garcelle even on this show? I don't get it.
  15. Lisa's makeup during her talking head, was… over the top, and not in a good way. Did she hire a 7-year old to apply that eye shadow?
  16. I just wonder if that's the cause of Kyle's anxieties, and she is really out of sorts.
  17. When Dorit and PK were wheeling and dealing with the restaurant guy (who looked very cornered), it cracked me up that their talking heads during that segment looked like this: I mean, if ever there were two Disney villains who had an escapade involving a puppy, it's these two!
  18. Oh my god, these bitches are terrible people all around. I'm struggling to understand Dorit's new business venture. The bathing suit stuff is completely over now (even under a different name)? Instead she is buying into a single location of a restaurant chain AND redecorating a room for it, without being compensated for her design labour? So, she is doing free work and giving them money, in exchange for part of the profits from a single restaurant? That doesn't seem like a great deal, lol, but what do I know. Buca-di-whatever appears to be a publicly traded company, so there's no larger deal than the endeavour at the single Encino location. I don't know why any of these women would think Kyle and Teddy's friendship is "weird" and I don't know why Kyle can't just tell them that she has grown closest to Teddy and *Shrug* it is what it is. Don't be so uncool, Kyle.
  19. I stumbled across the "Medford" episode online where Lisa Rhinna goes to her hometown and her daughters take note of the "chubchubs". I did notice that Rhinna is much more toned-down, not so performative in everything, and called Lois "Mom" or "My Mom" or "My Mother". There was no Oprah shouting "Loooooiiisss!" everytime her Mom appeared on screen. I wouldn't call her soft-spoken in this episode, but she sure wasn't so loud and obnoxious as she has been lately. All this to say that I don't care if she calls her mother by her first name or not, but it does seem to be more of a recent development.
  20. Yes, those are the words of an abuser. Dorinda always needs a dog to kick - it's a sport for her. She's focused on a target each season (Sonja, Luann, now Tinsley). She needs a t-shirt that says "I'm not happy until you're not happy"
  21. Wow, the majority of these dummies have almost no emotional intelligence whatsoever. Although, I was impressed that Katie was able to be so generous with James and give him a hug. That was a nice moment. Jax is a goddamn mess. Get your shit together, man. You are having a mid-life crisis/addiction. That Max and Brett seem like a couple of human cold sores. They are both so gross in their own ways, but that argument was disgusting. I'm no fan of Dayna, but you don't treat people like that. How mortifying for her. I really can't stand listening to Britney bray like a donkey every time a conflict occurs. I'm sure Lisa Vander$ grits her teeth each time Britney says "me and him were fightin'," or "we were havin' a pool party at Jax and I's house". ugh
  22. The flashbacks of Dorinda and Ramona bullying people through the years was brilliant. What a couple of assholes, those two. Tinsley needs to pump the brakes on her face tanner, or whatever it is that is turning her face orange. I'm not sure what to say about Luann drinking. It was sad to see all her "friends" encouraging her to drink again. Sonja was on the podcast "Bitch Sesh" last week, and even she said that she always has to go somewhere and detox after filming because they binge so so much.
  23. I'm not defending any of these women, I just get the feeling that Kyle was frustrated that Dorit was a no-show because they perhaps had something planned during the morning. Like, shit-stirring stuff that Kyle can't bring up in front of the camera. So, they were planning to shit-stir, but Dorit stayed home and selfied for hours instead, and Kyle was mad but can't say specifically why, and then gets extra frustrated when Dorit plays this wide-eyed, surprised-at-Kyle's-meanness response. But, Kyle is not smart enough to manage this -- especially coming up against con-artist Dorit.
  24. Oh, with Lisa V. gone, it's a competition now to see who is the top dog in this group, and Kyle and Dorit are really crawling up each other's asses in the process. Dorit's comment about the hispanic husbands was... weird. She was just as petty as Kyle in this dumb argument. Lisa R trying to get in on the action with her comment about Kim Richards was ridiculous. She thirsty!
  25. Oh, yes! I totally forgot about Vivienne Tam and her brilliant defacing of Mao's portrait. Thanks for reminding me of her work.
