This episode felt pretty uneven but I did laugh out loud at the end with the three red dresses. I love Shannen's zen being ever-so-slightly rattled in this episode, showing she can't escape the drama either. I enjoyed Brian, Jennie, and Tori the most in this reboot. The rest of the cast was fun too, but those three showed the most range, I thought. Yes, even though Jennie was pretty much snarky from beginning to end, she did show cracks in the facade and vulnerability as a middle-aged mother of a teen. Going in, I never would've thought I'd feel empathy for Tori Spelling, but I did. She balanced the comedy and drama well. Overall, to me, this reboot was far from perfect, but fun. I'd watch a second season, especially if a second season had more episodes so it didn't feel like a mad dash through all the storylines like this one felt.
