  1. I think Joanna just had a really trying time lately. She lost her husband Victor, she found out her son was betraying her again and she lost her daughters kind of one after the other. I think it's also worth noting that this is the longest that Freya and Ingrid have ever lived. She has had more time to become attached to this particular set of daughters, so it makes sense that the loss was harder for her to bear. I think in the past she took comfort in the fact that she would get the girls back almost immediately but going through childbirth and the death of your children over and over is a really cruel thing to wish upon someone. Which I why I don't understand Ingrid's or Frederick's stance on Grandpa. It makes sense that she misses each reincarnation differently. Different choices and circumstances will make you a different version of yourself each time. So it tracks that she would miss librarian Ingrid and bar tender Freya more than she would cult Ingrid or drug dealer Freya.
  2. And that's why I can't stand Ingrid. She does stupid things. Grandpa obviously can't be trusted and if Frederick really still believes that he is on the up and up he and Ingrid should be the twins. They are dumb and dumber at this point. If he really wanted to start fresh why not rescind the curses? He obviously needs the whole family intact for some reason. I would guess for a spell. I could have done without any of the Dash/FBI agent stuff. She really grossed me out with her over the top sluttiness. I wish that Dash had stuck with his guns and I don't know actually grieved the loss of someone he claimed to be in love with. The show is making it very hard for me to see a light at the end of the tunnel for his character. Now the stuff with Killian makes me question his smartness as well. You just found out that your wife drugged and ensorcelled you for months but you go somewhere by yourself because she left you an address. You wind up in a strange place with strange people and then you get stabbed in the hand and then they talk about you as if you could be useful to them in some way but you wait and see what's going to happen next? Ok. I don't think that's going to end well for you Killian. It's weird I feel like the season is just finding it's footing and it's pretty much over. I hope the pacing is better next season.
  3. I think Killian did acknowledge that he was wrong for trying to steal Freya when he first came back. I think hearing that Dash too had been lying to him after finding out about Eva pushed him over the edge. As messed up as Dash is I do think he and Ingrid are a much better fit.
  4. I don't think cheating if you could call it that is on par with attempted murder but YMMV. Solid episode. Did not expect the ending we got and if Tarkoff is really back next week, my respect for him as a villain will def go up a couple of notches. I think the Eva storyline was mainly just an obstacle for Freya and Killian. I'm glad she didn't go out evil. I'm excited to see how the girls are revived.
  5. I thought it was ok. I think there were some serious missteps this season in terms of what the arc is. We spent way too much time on the deadpool when it didn't amount to much of anything in the end. I do believe Peter was innocent in that case for once but what was the purpose? I feel like they tried to make Peter and Kate the villains too late in the season so it had little to no impact when it was revealed to Scott. Same thing with Scott is a beserker. He snapped out of so fast and it was because of Liam? He was willing to stab Kira and leave her for dead as well as kill his bff Stiles but Liam just has to say one thing and its enough? I don't think they spent enough time showing their connection this season. If I had seen evidence of that all season long it would have been more believable. Now for the head scratcher. Kate and Peter wanted to kill Scott because he became an alpha on his own? Peter said that Scott stole the Hale bloodline but that doesn't make any sense. They were werewolves long before Peter himself bit Scott. I could understand if Scott actually was an alpha because he took it from Peter but that's not the case. Same thing with Kate saying that Scott destroyed her family. She and her father did that almost single handedly with their scheming. Allison died doing what she believed in so I can't put that on Scott either. I'm sad about Chris leaving the pack. I know he doesn't have much to do but I would still like him to be a part of the show. What happened to Scott's father? He went to DC and never came back? I wish we had gotten to see Melissa at least be informed that Scott had been kidnapped, I love the Stilinski Malia stuff. She always looks so surprised and touched to be included in their family.
  6. That was interesting. I still don't get what Eva wants with Killian? She's obviously a seriously old lady using magic to keep herself looking young but what will a baby with Killian do for her? Maybe she plans on stealing the baby's magic? But why she can't she take Killian's magic and be done with it? Why the need to marry him and constantly keep him in thrall? As much as I like Killian, he's kind of stupid. I don't think the message was from the future so much as it was from a moment when he was coming out of the spell. Why didn't he send the message to someone who could actually help him? Like Freya or even Dash? You don't confront someone who is powerful enough to make you fall in love with them. He got what he deserved in that moment. Hopefully he will be a little smarter next time. As for Dash, I knew that it wasn't going to end well when he killed his own brother, the blackmailer was just the icing on the cake. Dash obviously has some real deep seated issues and they only got worse when he got magic powers. He's killed and or attempted to kill four people in a couple of months and as far as I can tell he feels no remorse at all. Ingrid isn't much better and honestly I don't think him killing the blackmailer's father would phase her too much. If their past lives are a prediction of anything, she hasn't changed that much either.
  7. I guess Lydia's grandmother is the benefactor. Teen Wolf can still surprise me it seems, I would have never thought that someone in Lydia's family would be the villain this season. I kind of understood why they had to pretend that Scott was dead to smoke out the benefactor but why not just wake him up after he "died" and have him pretend? There was some serious unnecessary drama with the countdown and everything. If the benefactor was actually going to confirm that Scott was really dead it wouldn't have mattered if he really was or not. I thought Kira was so stupid to go to the roof and risk possibly getting killed when they needed her to bring Scott back to life. Stiles and Malia are really cute together. I loved the opening scene with the two of them and I loved that of course he had to be the little spoon to be comfortable. I don't think that Malia trusts Peter at all so much as she needs him to get what she wants. They are very similar in that respect. Does anyone else think that Peter is stealing Derek's wolf powers? He has done a ton of things that have weakened Derek and his current state plus his partnership with Kate seem to all point to this. I'll reserve judgement on Braeden and Derek for now. I felt that the gun lesson had some forced sexual tension. I'm glad he has found a somewhat normal girlfriend but I need them to tone it down a bit. And I am really liking Liam a lot more than I thought he would. He's like the baby of the group right and he's always so worried about Scott.
  8. I didn't think the episode was that bad, I thought that while there was a lot of stuff with the various romantic pairings of the children a lot of important things happened. We finally got to the root of Callie's mistrust of Wyatt I think. He's not equipped to be the kind of support that she needs right now and she is unable to bend enough to really see the effort that he is putting in. I feel so bad for Wyatt and I kind of hope that they break up instead of all this constant fighting. Brandon and Mike finally apologized to each other, I feel like it's a good step forward for them to get past the whole Dani situation. Brandon is sort of moving forward with Lou but I feel like his actions are telling her he still cares about Callie as more than a sister. Mariana is getting in touch with her roots and I am coming around to Matt. He seems to be really trying to get to know the real Mariana underneath the fakeness and blonde hair. I love that Stef finally broke down over the baby. It had been coming for a long time and I'm glad that Lena was there for her. As for Jesus. There is something seriously wrong with that boy. I don't know if he is off his meds or if Hayley is controlling him with sex and empty promises but that tattoo was ridiculous. I thought she may have been abusing him and to be honest that would have been more interesting. You don't see an abused boyfriend storyline like ever and at least bruises fade. Tattoos are kind of forever. Just wow.
  9. That was an interesting episode. I knew Ingrid was the mate as soon as it was mentioned but I wish they had gone a different route. Having them be permanently connected is a cop out. Dash is def Ingrid 2.0 and I can't stand Ingrid lecturing him as if she learned anything about not misusing her magic when she did it not that long ago. Is Dash dead? I didn't expect the mandragora to attack him like that. I loved Freya's storyline with Killian and 70s Dash. Who looked ridiculous btw. I still want them to be together so its disheartening that she has given up on them when he's clearly being manipulated by Eva. I hate that she's so blind to it when its obvious that his feelings for her disappeared overnight. I hate that as witches they are so strong but so very weak at the same time. I knew that Alex must have been Joanna's lover. She was a little too angry for it to be just a broken friendship. Still no explanation for how immortal Victor died but I digress.
  10. That's what I am getting at though. When I first heard that there was going to be a sequel show to BMW with some original characters, I thought the show was going to be about them. I think that's what everyone thought before we knew that it was being produced by Disney. Your average ten year old doesn't even know what BMW is. And why should they? The show was made before they were born. That to me means the show was made for fans of BMW. Why would any adult have an interest otherwise? I just feel like Disney is trying to have its cake and eat it too. If they want to keep adult fans of BMW watching they need to cater to them as well. If I didn't know Cory and Topanga from BMW, I would have no idea that this is a spin off of a previous show. Neither Cory or Topanga have done anything to indicate that they have other family members or friends that old fans would know. One line about Uncle Eric, Aunt Morgan, or Grandpa Alan and Grandma Amy would be enough to tether me to the new show while still remembering the first one. Cory not even mentioning Shawn has hurt the show so much for me. Degrassi did do it really well but it was on a network better equipped to do it correctly.
  11. Topanga to me on BMW, she was serious but she knew how to let loose. She understood Cory and accepted his zaniness. I sometimes feel like she doesn't like Cory at all. There are moments when the old Topanga shines through but for the most part she's a stand in. I feel like Cory could be married to another woman and it wouldn't make a difference. Does she ever leave the apartment? I agree that Cory and Shawn were real kids, everyone on BMW was a real person with real quirks and issues. There were other people Cory interacted with besides Shawn and Topanga. As much as I love Cory. He is too wrapped up in Maya and Riley's lives inside and outside the school. Mr. Feeny cared about his students but I feel like he had a life outside of it. I wish that they hadn't made Cory Riley's teacher. I also wish this show had gone to another network like ABC. I think the show would have been better if it were about Cory and Topanga. Riley is not why we are watching. She does not invoke any nostalgia in fans of BMW. We want to know about Cory, Shawn, Topanga, Eric, Alan and Amy. Heck even Morgan would be more interesting. The fact that they don't mention any of the people that should be in their lives is the hugest letdown. There should be cameos all over the place. This makes me think that Disney doesn't care about the fans of BMW. If you take away Ben Savage and Danielle Fisher and replace them, it's just your standard Disney channel sitcom.
  12. I actually think that the EMT is up to no good. He seems very keen on being with Wendy but I noticed that whenever she tries to kiss him or something he finds a reason to avoid it. She also intimated that none of their dates have gone particularly well which makes me think that she is being warned away from him. I am on the fence on Dash and Ingrid. There is a certain chemistry there but they are both so woefully ignorant when it comes to their magic and when and how to use it that I can only see it ending in disaster. She has already helped him hide a body, I shudder to think what else they will intentionally do together. I feel like Frederick and the tentacle guy are connected in some way. Maybe tentacles is a creature that Frederick created when he came through the portal and he is just unaware of it. I thought this when the guy that Frederick bumped into was immediately attacked by the tentacle guy. I'm pretty sure that Killian is aware of the relationship he had with Freya before Dash tried to kill him. The last thing he remembers is giving Freya the ultimatum and waiting on the boat. He doesn't remember Dash attacking him. I also think his feelings for Freya are being suppressed by Eva.
  13. More and more I think I like the idea of the show rather than the actual product. I made the mistake of watching some BMW reruns recently and there is no comparison to the quality of that show compared to this one. GMW feels dumbed down and the characters grate on my nerves sometimes especially Riley and sometimes Topanga. The dialogue is so heavy handed. I feel like they are given a topic for the episode and then beat us over the head with it from start to finish. I feel like Topanga is just there to react to things. I never feel she is ever involved in a storyline of her own and her character feels different to me. I thought maybe getting older and having children could account for that but Cory is Cory just older so it's not that. Riley did bug me with her constant interrogation of Maya about the locket. She didn't steal it from a retail store or from an actual person, she took from lost and found. It's not the nicest thing to do but it's not exactly a crime. Those things get thrown out most of the time in my experience. It obviously meant something more to her than it just being a pretty necklace and I hated that Riley couldn't find it inside herself to respect and/or empathize with that. Maya is patterned very closely after Shawn, (who I wish would get even a token mention) and at times I wondered why he and Cory were friends or why he put up with Cory being Cory and it was just something that just was. I think Riley and her family by extension keep Maya from being a total delinquent kind of like what Carly did for Sam on iCarly. Cory's world on BMW felt a lot bigger than Riley's in family, location, and the issues that were tackled. GMW feels very insular to me and I feel like they aren't utilizing the premise or the characters that this show came from. I'll keep watching for now but I hope it gets a lot better.
  14. Sure. I know that wizards of Waverley place was involved in one. That's so raven as well.
  15. I'm pretty sure Disney shows all take place in the same universe. There have been at least three show crossovers that I can remember.
  16. I liked the episode. I too loved that Lena knows Mike and Stef well enough to call them out when they are wrong. I'm glad Stef was able to make Mike see the truth about Dani breaking the law. Its sad that there is a double standard for statutory rape when it happens to a male. I don't think Sophia was wishing Jude hadn't been born so much as she wishes that they had found Callie before the fosters. She seems really sad and lonely to me and I hope that Robert can get his wife to ease up a bit. Am I the only one who was uncomfortable with her questioning of Jude during the card game? Her questions seemed very probing me to me. She's also very defensive when it comes to Sophia trying to connect with Callie. I really wanted her to give them some privacy during their chat. Something about her rubs me the wrong way. I too wish that Jesus and Mariana had better storylines. I don't care about Jesus' love life or the fact that Hayley seems a little too fatal attraction for a teenager. I am still waiting for Mariana to quit the dance team and go back to her natural hair color.
  17. She was also on Switched At Birth as well so I'm not going to hold my breath lol. She seems to be on a couple of shows right now because she is usually recurring. Nothing against the actress, the character just bugs.
  18. I don't think she ever intended to tell Stef about the rape right away. I think she wanted more time to convince Brandon that he didn't do anything wrong and that he needs to tell Stef and Mike himself. He's not going to be able to get past it if he can't tell them himself what happened to him.
  19. I thought maybe it was people who died last season with the whole oni thing but no one else died that was connected with that. Unless they decide to kill Issac off? I really enjoyed the episode, I thought it was pretty solid. Does anyone else feel like we have seen more werewolves then we ever have in beacon hills that the main characters don't know about? I must have totally missed the part where Kira made the lacrosse team, I love that coach is not afraid to bench you even if you make a goal. I'm glad that stupid girl got what was coming to her, she was so over the top greedy for even a teenager I was hoping that Scott would snap her neck but he's Scott not Peter so arresting her will have to suffice. I actually really like Liam and I like that he and Scott have a proper Alpha Beta relationship unlike the one Derek tried to have with Scott and/or the one Peter has with Scott. I wish they would explore Peter and Scott's relationship more, sometimes I forget that Peter bit Scott in the first place. Does this mean that Derek is slowly becoming human again? I find it hard to believe that you could take that from someone who was born a werewolf. How he would he even get it back from Kate? I missed the last bit with Chris and the annoying hunter grandma. Did he agree with her and say the code? I so wanted him to honor Allison and say their new code but it doesn't look like that is what happened. I wish someone would just kill her too, she just keeps coming back. Aren't there actual evil werewolves that she can bother? Scott and even Derek seem like odd choices.
  20. I thought that was really nice despite what happened to Frankie. I feel like a lot was resolved in this episode. The pregnancy was in the sense that it made Lena realize how important she is to the family and maybe it made her realize that she is not meant to have a flesh and blood child of her own. I loved what her Mother told her. Her wanting to have a baby no matter what seemed very selfish to me at times. I agree that she should have told Stef about Dani but with so much going on I'm glad she didn't. The episode was drama filled enough imo. It looks like it's going to come out next week anyway. Wyatt was pretty bold to ask Brandon for advice on Callie but it led to Brandon giving Callie a little insight on how she comes across and what her defense mechanisms do to those around her which in turn led her to talk to Jude and get him to open up. Loved the monopoly game with the whole family and the tree ceremony at the end, it was bittersweet.
  21. Stef confronts Mike and Ana about his sneaking around. He explains that he's been helping her stay sober and tells Stef to stay out of it and she agrees. Lena has a dream about the baby and wakes up to hear the twins fighting. Jesus and Mariana are still fighting about Jesus' promiscuity and Lena tells Mariana to stay out of Jesus' business and she makes sure that Jesus is using protection. Wyatt asks Brandon for relationship advice and Brandon advises him to give Callie some space. Lena is feeling sick and is rushed to the hospital, she is put on bed rest.
  22. I feel like this show doesn't even make sense anymore. I still hate Ingrid, she does stupid things all the time. All. the. time. When her and Dash were on my screen I feel like my head was going to explode because they are both so stupid. I don't even know what happened really because I fast forwarded whenever the two of them popped up. Shut up Dash! I'm surprised his one night stand hung around for his whole conversation to himself. He couldn't even pretend he was on the phone. I woulda been out of there. Shut up Joanna! I see where Ingrid gets her stupidity from. She lies about everything, even stuff that doesn't matter like the door in the closet. What could it possibly be that two grown adult witches can't handle. Stop lying all the time. I can't wait for the whole Frederick thing to blow up in her face. I hope they don't kill Victor he's barely on the show but he is the one of the only people I like on this show besides Wendy and Freya. Freya is my favorite. She has common sense and she doesn't lie or do stupid things. Killian married Eva really? He didn't find it at all strange they he got over Freya so quickly? A girl he was willing to steal from his own brother? Why didn't Freya do a spell to make sure he wasn't ensorcelled? She knew that he was in danger, spent her life savings to get there and she just took his new marriage to Eva like a chump. Man, Eva moves fast. I thought maybe she was going to kill Killian for his powers but she didn't. It makes me wonder what she's up to. No one uses magic enough on this show. Maybe I'm used to witches being like the Charmed Ones who used magic a little too much but I haven't really seen Ingird or Freya using their powers and when they do it's either ineffective, lame, or weak. It kind of makes me wonder why are they are even witches in the first place? I wish the show were about Freya, Wendy and Victor. That would be a great show.
  23. I like the premise but I feel like everything the government did after discovering the eggs was too stupid. Do they want fertilized eggs or not? I feel like the president, the chief of staff and maybe the attorney general? do but not Director Hayes. Which may be because he wants total control like another poster proposed. But firing the only doctor in the world who was able to fertilize eggs is still stupid. Why not make her happy and make sure that she can continue what she is doing. That's only to his benefit. Why didn't they find the egg donors of the fertilized eggs and get more eggs? Why not make them the winners of the lottery? I agree that making it so that any person in the world could win a baby is foolish. I hope they do background checks before hand to make sure they are good people. Why would you kill someone that you know can have her eggs fertilized? I too like the father and son but I also agree that the fact that he isn't getting gang raped and/or propositioned all the time suspect. His sperm fathered the last child ever born, he would either be famous or infamous. Child services should be bending over backwards to make him happy not trying to take his kid away. They didn't to seem to have that much intel either if they were supposedly so concerned with the child's welfare over a common stomach virus. And Dr. Allen is disgusting. Sleeping with all those men, she doesn't know what they have and she's obviously not using protection. So yeah gross. A lot of stuff just doesn't make sense and it makes me seriously question how the rest of the show is going to go.
  24. I thought this episode was exactly why I fell in love with teen wolf in the first place. I thought it was one of its funnier episodes. Teen wolf does dry and comedic humor so well imo. Come on the stuff with Liam was comedy gold. The way Scott was trying to explain things to Liam were just so Scott. I too am glad that Stiles is the brains of that operation. Kira with the vixen swag and then falling down the stair like that was too much for me, lls. I honestly have given up on Scott being the best alpha ever and maybe that's the point. He's not. He's bumbling, soft hearted Scott Mccall and maybe that's all he will ever be. His alpha status had nothing to do with physical strength anyway. It was given to him based on his strength of character and that part of him hasn't changed. Do I wish he was stronger? Sure but that's never been his strong suit. I wish he would talk to Derek more or even Peter. All these new werewolf situations he finds himself in and he doesn't reach out to the older, alpha werewolves that are a phone call away? I find that hard to understand. Derek especially for help with Liam, maybe. Derek doesn't exactly have the best track record with betas considering his are either dead or gone but I don't think it could have hurt them too much. I'll reserve judgement on Liam for now, I still feel like we have too many characters and I would really like to focus on the ones we have without worrying about five new ones stealing screen time. The teenage hunter and her boyfriend can go diaf right now. Do not need or want that kind of hunter drama along with everything else. I was surprised that the Benefactor is dead already. It seemed...anti-climatic? I think all the couples inched forward in this ep. Scott got some sweet time with Kira and I can't see them being anything but sweet ever. And there were some nice moments with Stalia. Glad Lydia's banshee powers are a lot more useful this season. The deadpool is interesting but our gang doesn't seem to be worth much at all, I wonder if that will change?
  25. Maybe October Road? I thought it was a pretty solid show with an interesting premise. Same thing with Men In Trees. I know some people don't like Anne Heche but I thought she really shined on that show.
