  1. I had a killer headache last night so I was only half paying attention, did they tell the HGs why there was no audience? Honestly, I find myself envying them. It's really scary out here right now and it seems like being sequestered in the BB house is probably the safest place to be. I always love when the nominated HGs and their alliance members start calling the HoH a coward and a liar. Because when one of them is HoH, I'm sure they'll totally go up to the person they want to get rid of and say "I'm gunning for you this week so please don't win the veto". And like they didn't lie to Chris about being in an alliance? Please. I'm just hoping this will put an end to that ridiculous "Evictors assemble!" thing. Stop defiling the good name of Chris Evans! HoH spoiler:
  2. lol Ozzy. His social game was almost as bad as Russell's, just not as in-your-face rude.
  3. The thing is, it's basically impossible to give Yul a bad edit, even if they wanted to. The editors can only work with what they're given and Yul is an all-around awesome human being.
  4. And yet I bet those are the same people who claim that Rob deserved to lose All-Stars because jury management is part of the social game and it's his own fault if the jury was bitter. 🙄
  5. I mean, I visit other places on the web than this site but *shrug*. It sounds like those people are clearly choosing to ignore the most important aspect of Survivor, which is what Russell did too.
  6. FINALLY! I like Rob but I can’t believe he lasted as long as he did. And we can’t even blame it on the tribe swap because his old tribe had the numbers. I was really worried we’d lose Sarah. Pretty ballsy of neither woman to play their advantages. WTF was Adam doing after voting? Looking for an idol or something? The Yul/Wendell tribe looks unstoppable. Nothing but challenge powerhouses on that tribe. I don’t usually keep up with the personal lives of players but, damn, now I really want to know what went down with Wendell and Michelle. Sounds like he did something douchey. I love Yul. Hearing about Penner’s wife was so sad. I bet they’re going through hell. Did they even show EoE tonight? I did not miss it.
  7. Really? I've literally never seen anyone say that about Russell. I thought it was fairly obvious that he had literally zero social game (calling people stupid right to their faces, threatening people, etc.) and that's why he lost.
  8. Heh, I'm just as conflicted too. I've come to warm to adult Kevin, especially in recent episodes where he seems to have matured a lot but, whenever they flash back to younger Kevin, it reminds me what an obnoxious little fucker he was.
  9. Kevin was absolutely there for Randall, which was great, but he also completely and totally screwed over Sloane and everyone else in that play, which isn't exactly a feather in his cap for showing how responsible he is.
  10. Like I said, I don't remember details but I recall there was also a scene where Miguel was kind of trashing (marriage in general/his own marriage/ Jack spending time with Rebecca) - sorry I legit can't remember the details - and it prompted an extremely loud "Shut up, Miguel!" from me at the time.
  11. Miguel made quite a few sketchy comments about Rebecca and about his own marriage when Jack was still alive. I'd have to go back and rewatch the early episodes to get exact quotes (I'm not going to) but I definitely remember thinking the douchiness was strong in Miguel, long long before Jack died, which is the main reason I have never been able to warm to his character.
  12. I am not over the Jack worship because I still love him and Milo but I will say that I'm not looking forward to a "what if" episode at all. Fantasy and dream sequences in tv and movies always irritate me because it just feels like a waste of time. I don't want to watch a bunch of stuff that didn't happen and never will happen. I suppose a lot of fans want to see Jack interact with the adult Pearsons but it just seems pointless to me.
  13. I think this is 100% spot on. The amazing thing about this show is that there is something that almost everybody can relate to. In my case, I can relate to this storyline the most because I had a "Miguel". Long story short: My dad had a stroke when I was 10 and, eventually, his best friend ended up with my mom. It was almost the exact same scenario as on the show, And I have always found the Pearsons' relationship with Miguel to be extremely accurate. You're happy that your mom isn't alone but, in the back of your mind, you will always think of "Miguel" as your dad's best friend who is now sleeping with his wife. My brother and I never had an issue with any other men my mom dated but we always had an issue with our "Miguel". And, like the adult Pearson kids, our relationship with him was almost the same as on the show, our "Miguel" was treated with a polite indifference. It may not be fair but that's just reality, the relationship the Pearson kids have with Miguel seems extremely realistic to me. I'm still not on the Randall hate-train yet. I mean, he's not wrong, he's been the responsible one their entire lives. When the show premiered, wasn't one of Kevin's opening scenes him frantically calling his sister to get a girl out of his house because he was so irresponsible and helpless he had to hide in a closet until Kate got there? I can definitely understand why Randall would be hesitant to give up control. That being said, he definitely needs to stay in therapy. He's got plenty of issues of his own to work out.
  14. A winner is a winner but there are definitely some people who won because they played a great game and others who basically lucked into a win. I mean, on paper, sure - all wins are equal. But in reality there are "winners" who aren't even close to the caliber of other players. Sure, you could say that they earned their win by attaching themselves to a strong player and riding coattails all the way to the victory or by lucking out with a new twist and that's valid. But it shouldn't come as a surprise that certain winners aren't as respected as others who actually did play a good game.
  15. Right?! I thought the same thing. For someone who prides himself on his big brain (eye roll), he just can't seem to grasp the concept that he was in the bottom because people simply don't like him.
  16. Who is this “Kim” that Chris thought he was talking to anyway? 😂 I’m confused. Is Carlton the guy who keeps saying “Ya feel me?” - I thought his name was Jamar? I don’t find Micheal particularly attractive or unattractive, he’s very generic. What kills me though is how he spells his name. It’s like somebody made a typo on his birth certificate and he felt obligated to live with it. It makes me twitchy.
  17. I am completely spoiler-free so this is just me rambling but I took that to mean that Adam isn’t long for this game so the editors felt the need to squeeze in the obligatory mom confessional sooner rather than later. For the record, my mom has been gone over 20 years and I still sometimes choke up when I’m talking about her so Adam’s tears didn’t bother me, just the ridiculous editing. I had literally the exact same thought about Amber when she was lugging those logs. And it’s not just that she’s still so physically fit, she really hasn’t aged much at all. I don’t know what her secret is but she should bottle it and sell it.
  18. And I do not see any of Tom in anything Rob has ever done. Not even close.
  19. Also, for those who are interested in the HoH/Veto results:
  20. It’s Arisa with one R and one S. I always spell it incorrectly at the start of every season and have to Google it. 🤷‍♀️
  21. High 5, girlfriend! (Boyfriend?) Right there with you. Tom is one of my most hated winners. I don't remember if he was a bully/asshole the whole time during his season but I definitely think he used hardcore bullying tactics against poor Ian in that final challenge.
  22. On a shallow note, Arisa looks amazing for someone who just gave birth a few months ago!
  23. I don't blame Kyle for the initial freak out because, while M.L. (just going with that until I figure out how to spell her name properly) may have had a reasonable request, she was pretty bitchy about it. I was very surprised though when he refused to talk to her in private. That was kind of a dick move but also a really bad game move. Even if you have to fake it, you always should at least pretend to get along with your housemates.
