That was literally my exact thought process as well lol. Then I thought maybe they were planning to do some weird online version of Survivor but I don’t see how that would even be possible. Remember, CBS: the Family Edition is what almost killed TAR.

Man, the finale is so much better without Probst interrupting with his annoying live segments. Pretty good season, despite the existence of EoE, all the Old Schoolers being voted out first and those damn fire tokens which I fear are never going away. But no, Probst, it was most definitely not the best season ever.
Once Ben was gone, I could finally enjoy this episode (season). I don’t think what he did was noble or whatever he was going for. He’s irritating and I was just glad to see him go. I wish him well in the real world but, seriously, good riddance. Since EoE has to exist, I’m glad Natalie won her way back. Not only is she a beast physically, she’s amazing at strategy too. I feel so ripped off as a viewer that we didn’t really get to see her play the actual game until the final episode.
It’s no surprise that Tony won, he deserved it. I do feel bad for Michele not receiving even one vote. Why do they even bother with a final 3? There’s always somebody who gets completely ignored. They all did really great at the final TC. It was nice to see them all have great reasons for thinking they deserve the win and actually be able to articulate them to the jury. Speaking of, least bitter jury ever! *glares at Lex*
I didn’t really miss the reunion, to be honest. Although I don’t know how I’ll be able to live without knowing who Sia liked this season. 🙄 And what is this crap about encouraging teenagers to apply? I’m not interested in Survivor Junior. I want to be able to openly snark on Survivor contestants guilt-free.

All that scene did was remind me how much Ben sucks at the social game. He wouldn’t even let Jeremy speak, which is beyond irritating. How would it have hurt him to hear Jeremy’s ideas? But nope, he just immediately started to be an ass. Typical Ben.

That’s why I said almost all the big personalities were on EOE. I’m counting Tony as pretty much the only big personality left. Ben isn’t a big personality, he’s boring. And Sarah is pretty low key, I’ve never thought of her as cray. I hope there’s a lot of good strategy to come because, if not, it’s going to be a boring ass 2nd half of the show.

I have no doubt that Sarah was joking around when she she said she wasn’t just smart and pretty. She’s never shown herself to be vain or conceited in the past. Personally, I think she is all of those things but I still think she was just kidding around.

Yeah, kind of like how they showed Adam randomly looking around the voting booth a few weeks ago. They were laying a foundation for the big “Adam looks for idols in the dumbest places like Probst’s podium” scene. They must have thrown in that comment from Tyson for a reason.

It doesn’t help that almost every single big personality, like them or hate them, is now sitting on EoE. Even good players like Kim and Denise are as interesting as watching paint dry.

Oh Adam lol. I’m so highly entertained by him! You know Probst is kicking himself that he didn’t think of actually putting an idol there. Now I have nobody I’m really pulling for. I guess I’m in the Anybody But Ben club now. He irritates me so much.
I can’t believe they actually wrote a song about winners at war. 😂 Are we going to have to listen to that crap at every challenge?

That was sad. I really did feel so bad for them all. But I'm sure as soon as they got out into the real world and saw how bad things are, all that "This was my dream, I'll never get over this" stuff disappeared real fast.
Still can't believe it's over :(

Yul got voted out just ONE Tribal Council before the challenge where he could have explained to us why elephants can’t climb trees. I’m so sad!!
I was hoping for Yul or Natalie but I don’t mind Tyson coming back. At least we’ll get more of his deadpan confessionals. I love those! Tony continues to amuse. “Now we know why Sandra went home. She wasn’t doing this.” 😂
I’m glad Adam was saved. I just like the kid. I still have literally no recollection of Sophie on her first season but she seems very perceptive and I’m starting to really appreciate her low key game. (As opposed to Kim who is so low key that I literally forget she even exists until she wanders into the frame)
Again with the weird, random music just before the challenge ended. All this tension and then suddenly a woman singing: “You better be ready” or something. WTF?

YES! I noticed that same thing and was like WTF?!? It was like some sort of sexy R&B jam, totally different than the usual faux tribal music they usually play.

Yes, I even remember during one of the family visits, they made the family member eat the gross stuff! The old school challenges were so much more interesting and creative.

Awwww Sandra, I still love you! I don’t read spoilers so boy, was I wrong about her not leaving EOE! She noped on out of there as soon as humanly possible lol. It was sad seeing all the old schoolers there. Those are the people I really wanted to see play. I’m also sad we didn’t get to see the players still in the game react to Parvati and Sandra getting voted out.
I know I’m in the minority but I love Adam. He’s who I’m pulling for now. (Which probably means he’s doomed. Sorry, Adam.) I don’t know why but I just have a soft spot for that kid! And not just because he reminds me of Joey McIntyre. I really hope they merge soon, I’m tired of having to root for Ben in order for Adam to be safe.

Well, damn. It's not like this season got off to a great start but I was still looking forward to it. I mean, of course I understand and it was most likely the right thing to do, but I still really empathize with the HGs. Some of them, like superfan Angie, have been dreaming of getting on the show for so long. And it's not like they can invite them all back on another season since all the alliances will be known. I feel so bad for them. Not as bad as I feel for the people with Covid-19, but still.
Also, I feel like Minh was on her way to becoming an Ika-esque legend so that really sucks for her.

God, that was intense. I was hoping for something light and entertaining to take my mind off of everything going on in the world but that was a ridiculously HEAVY episode.
It was so beyond dumb that they didn't give the viewers any info whatsoever about what actually happened. (You know BB U.S. would have shown every gory detail) They showed us the HGs being told not to cross the line and do better but they didn't actually show us what happened so how do we know what the line is? They obviously booted Kyle after the backlash on social media and then tried to make it look like it was their decision. The whole thing was handled so badly.
I will say, I absolutely LOVED how Sheldon refused to answer questions during the house meeting. Like, FINALLY! I've always wondered why HGs treat house meetings like it's a court of law where they have to tell the truth.

It wouldn't have been suspicious at all. Many times over the years people have stood up at TC and announced they were using an idol simply because it was the last chance for them to use it so why not? I feel like the old Sandra would have stuck to her "anybody but me" plan and played the idol for herself just to be on the safe side....I think it's the lure of these dumb fire tokens that is messing with how people play the game and I don't like it. I don't want this to become a permanent thing and future seasons will be all about people buying/selling tokens.

Sandra knew. That was part of her deal with Denise. She told Denise that since everyone was voting for her (Denise), Denise could then play the idol and have the power to cast her vote for whoever she wanted to, as long as it wasn’t her or Kim. I knew right there that Denise was going to use it to vote out Sandra. I guess she really wanted those tokens more than guaranteed safety. I still don’t really remember Denise’s game last time but I am starting to remember why she won.

WTF? Where was our big Rob and Ambuh reunion scene? I actually feel a little ripped off lol. I still hate EoE but at least the personalities are entertaining this time. Tyson’s deadpan delivery of everything kills me!
So much strategy! I’m really enjoying watching all the winners trying to work their magic at the same time. Sorry not sorry but I kind of enjoyed all the soapy drama at the first TC! As long as I knew Yul was safe, I could sit back and enjoy it. Wendell’s game seems so different this time around. Socially, he’s kind of an ass this time. Or did being on a tribe with his ex make him lose his mind?
Man, I was soooooo nervous during the 2nd TC. As soon as Sandra gave Denise her idol, I thought for sure she was going to use it to vote out Sandra. It didn’t quite happen the way I expected it to but it still happened! I love Sandra so much but HOT DAMN that was brilliant! (Technically, Sandra pulled a Tyson and voted herself out of the game.) Now I know how all the Rob fans felt last week, it’s almost a relief to not worry about her getting voted out anymore.
I’m so glad this was a good episode. I think we all needed just one hour to focus on something silly like a reality show instead of the horror that is actual reality right now.

I haven’t seen the full house meeting but I saw a clip of the last 2 mins where Jamar made the reference to retribution outside the house and I’m really hoping there was more to his expulsion than that. In the clip I saw, he did make a pop sound with a gun gesture but he said it as he was walking away. It didn’t in any way seem like a legitimate threat but more like a pissed off guy bro-ing out with a typical “If we weren’t in this house....” I’ve seen and heard WAY worse on BB. And, as soon as Jamar said it, you could hear Kyle IMMEDIATELY tell him he could get kicked out for that. Obviously I don’t know all the details and there may be way more to it but, based on the clip I saw, it kind of sounds like Jamar got screwed and Kyle is a douche.
Too bad, he was kind of entertaining. Ya feel me?
