  1. I thought Michael Rappaport did a great job as guest host. He knows the show, the gossip and actually brings energy to what is usually a bland show. The fact that he is really into so many of the reality shows makes him relatable to viewers.
  2. I had really hoped to see more people discussing this show. I definitely needed a bit of a refresher prior to watching Season 2 as it had been a while. It seemed rather odd to me that their father’s widow was missing when the family met to spread ashes. I didn’t recall a final scene with her in S1 but I may have just forgotten. It appears that baby sister Rose is supposed to be the comic relief in the story line but I find her to be incredibly irritating and way too self involved.
  3. Why, oh why, is this show even back?!? June doesn’t need anymore screen time. She has more than proven she is not that “poor but loving”mother people thought she was when the original Honey Boo-Boo aired. This woman has had so many opportunities to make positive changes for her family and squandered every one. It is reprehensible to throw more money at her and the mess she has made.
  4. This was my exact thought regarding the so-called scholarship for the young boy. I wondered about it when her father briefly appeared at the auction and left prior to it starting. That struck me as odd. It seemed like a lot of effort to dress in a tuxedo and drive to the destination not to spend much time there. The day of the committee meeting it seemed Mom attended only to meet Grace. She then tracked her down at the gym and it looked like she maybe had knowledge of Grace on a personal level. To approach her while nude was quite an intimate way to converse. Grandparents paying tuition for their grandchildren is not uncommon in wealthier families. Especially if they attend the same schools generation after generation.
  5. It was mentioned several times that Dennis had played football through college. A lot of those guys get used to special treatment while in school. He did say he had been a quarterback so he, no doubt, is used to getting away with more than your average Joe. Obviously he went no further than college so his life has probably changed big time and he sees this as his breakout role. He has certainly used every opportunity to be seen shirtless on the air. If he took the program seriously he could be a huge asset due to the fact he fit in so quickly.
  6. My two cents on this mess - I don’t think money had anything to do with Aladin’s change of mind. My guess is he saw the show and her “purple friend” was prominently displayed as well as the home wine making. Both of these would cause him humiliation and make him the subject of ridicule. There would be no way he could continue in a marriage with her over there. His entire demeanor was different and I truly believe he has had to answer for her actions and his involvement. He really lost out in the relationship. Tiffany is perhaps one of the most despicable people to ever appear on the show. She obviously sees herself as a far better person than her lowly husband. She will hound him forever and he will have no peace. The fact that her decisions have been absolutely moronic will never dawn on her. She pushed her son to accept a new Dad and when he did she took him back to the US. Not to mention getting pregnant right away with a man she has no trust or respect for and then robbing him of his child. Tiffany thinks she is smart but really just delusional. Corey really was irritating with all his commentary during both “tell all” shows. A guy who cannot get his own relationship together has nothing to offer the others. The fact that he still wishes to marry Evelin pretty much makes one wonder what is wrong with him. I can’t even bother to criticize her because he is so stupid. I can’t even with Jenny. The fact that she decided give up everything to chase a man in India at her age is too much. What a bunch of misfits representing the US. If poor decisions made you wealthy this bunch would be billionaires.
  7. I don’t think the police set up for the truck heist was poorly thought out but undermined by Jackie and the FBI. They seemed to have everything covered but when the FBI cane screeching in it threw everyone off balance. That being said Rachel and Hank were clearly not following any type of guidelines by standing out in the open.
  8. Jenny has no idea who Jackie works with. She has said he doesn’t discuss things with her. It was definitely Rachel trying to get some info on Jackie. She gave herself away when she went from general conversation to a more specific question.
